On Thursday June 30, 2022 drove up to the Golflinks drive thru. Only 2 cars ahead of me but didn’t place my order for at least 10 minutes. I ordered a simple egg McMuffin with bacon, hash brown and medium coffee. I paid at the first window and proceeded to the second window to pick up my order. Parked at the second window for at least 7 minutes not seeing any employee at all thru window. Finally a girl shows up passes me my medium coffee and asks me to go to parking spot 3 where someone will bring out my simple order. I was in a hurry that morning and now I am upset because I am going to be late. I go to parking spot 3 and wait at least 10 minutes for an employee to come out with my egg McMuffin and hash brown. And here is the finale of this great experience. My egg McMuffin has ham instead of my bacon order. It was the 3 rd time at this franchise that I specifically ordered bacon on my egg McMuffin and they gave me ham. Terrible service and incompetence. Sorry I had to send this but felt I had to.

Terrible experience with Manager Mike. My friends and I arrived at the at 10:30 and immediately upon arrival Manager Mike forced us to leave without reason, we asked why and he said “my restaurant my rules, I close when I want”, none of us were causing any problems what so ever and the restaurant closes at 12:00. My friend ordered food after Mike told us to leave and he wanted to enjoy is hamburger but Mike forced him to leave, my friend asked why, which caused Mike to pull his phone out and take a picture and “permanently ban” my friend. This caused us to question Manager Mikes decisions, Manager Mikes decision which erupted into Mike yelling at us without any cause or reason and forcing us to leave. I think Manager Mike should be in no power to run a Mcdonald’s with his child like actions. The lack of maturity shows his inability to run a facility and I believe he should be relieved of his duties.

This location may take the cake for the worst McDonald’s I’ve been to. I ordered a chicken BACON wrap and after 2 bites I noticed there was no bacon. I took it back to the counter and told them there was no bacon. The manager asked for the wrap back and put the wrap I ate from back on the food preparation line and added bacon. From a good handling perspective that is absolutely disgusting. I watched the worker not wipe the station after so everyone who orders food after me food will be contaminated by my wrap. I can think of 2 better solutions a) remake the wrap and throw that one out. b) give me the bacon and I would have put it on myself. I think this location could use some extra training for the managers because frankly neither of them knew what they were doing tonight.

It's not the first time I have a bad experience with this location. I was the only customer waiting but my order wasn't ready after 5 minutes and the crew asked me to park in front of the restaurant and I said no because last I did I had to wait 10 minutes and I'm sure is because they forgot my order. So the "Manager" Faith or I don't know if that's her name because when I asked her she covered it, said if I don't park in front of the restaurant the only option is give me a refund, I was in shock for her answer, so I asked her again and she said all the managers do the same. I would like to know if that's true. I worked for this franchise for years as a general manager and for me and my team the customer service, quality and speed were priority. I only hope the owner-operator or corporate read this because there is a lot of opportunities to improve.

I was working as skip the dishes driver on tuesday night.i went here to pickup an order. As per pickup instructions i need to ring the ring as they lock door by midnight. For courier pickup i ring bell almost 12 times, no one show up. I went to the first window for pickup , that lady made gestures to come by drive through. Almost 8 cars were alredy in line up to order in drive-thru. I waited 30 mins. I called on their number given on website to deliver me by window as there was line up. One lady answered call and when i started explaining she cut the call. Such a bad behaviour in customer service field. I was suppose to end all deliveries by 1:15 am. I waited alot there and finished my deliveries by 1.45 am. They wasted my 30 mins just for one order. Really disappointed tonight.

Naturally being in a busy area its a very busy location, the store manager there Mike is a great guy but with people leaving and new people rotating every month I've had my order messed up multiple times, people there do not care about their job or take it seriously and i really only go here when everywhere else is closed at night. The drive through is very long 24/7 and when it isnt at night the night crew is very very slow. The food quality is the same as most mcdonalds which is to say it's just ok for what you pay.

Do not recommend this location. Tables were dirty, they aren't being cleaned often. Didn't see one person wipe anything down while we were there. Garbage on the floor. The floor was very greasy and a slipping hazard. Both ketchup dispensers were empty. The fountain drink area was a mess. It was like this the last time we were here too. The absolute worse mcdonalds in Hamilton maybe evern Ontario. Their night staff truly needs to be retrained. Waited 45 mins in drivethru to be told they are not serving food tonight. Worse customer service ever!!!! The employees truly did not care. Next tme tell ur staff to put a pylon out saying closed rather than sitting at the intercome stuck iin the drive trhu for 45 mins. Myself and the 8 cars behind took off 2 cars were still waiting for food which they probably got at 6am when the store opens back up again. Save yourself a trip and go to upper james or dundurn trust me it will be faster and you will go home with food to top it off!

Went through here first thing this morning. Debit machines were down, fine that’s ok cash only. Ordered my food and double checked it was what I had ordered. Worst drive through experience.if there was an option for no star at all I would have done that. The staff is very rude and they really don’t care about costumer. Instead of accepting their mistakes they team up to prove the costumer wrong . Never going back again but management should actually do something about it.I ordered chocolate sundae with extra fudge and I am attaching a picture to show what they gave me . When I went back in to ask why they didn’t fill it they told me this is the right way to do it and other McDonald’s do it wrong . What a weird location. Anyways... We just went in to grab some cold drinks after a very long time and it was slammed. A line up for the drive through that looked super long so we decided to go inside. We were greeted with smiles and super quick and friendly service. Everyone from the manager to the little young guy who opened the door for us as we were leaving. McDonald's is a hard job and I know sometimes the public doesn't treat the employees very well, but this place just had a great vibe. Clean. Fast. Inexpensive. Everything I want from a fast food place, but so seldom get. Great job everyone.

Negative 100 if I could. Doordash Ordered 5 full meals, received 2 burgers, 1 small fry and 2 drinks no straws nor napkins Called the store and Manager Savannah gave no cares and hung up on us. Took almost 2 hours to finally be resolved and another tip for the dasher as it wasn't her fault. Here we are again Dec 1 2023 (previous review from 2022) Ordered Cheeseburger happy meal and 10 nugget meal through the drivethru. Get home and there's no cheeseburger. I am not driving all the way back in the traffic for a damn cheeseburger. Unbelievable.

Manager not once but twice let the door close in my face as I followed him into the restaurant. Then while waiting for my food I watched him opening burger boxes and lifting the buns to check toppings with his dirty hands that he just touched door handles with and was on his cell phone while this was taking place. He needs some customer service and common etiquette lessons.

Everyone here hates their job. They rolled their eyes at me and sighed when I asked for a straw for my drink. Customer service and organization is horrible. And my burger had half a slice of tomato, one little piece of onion and almost no lettuce. This location is by far the worst burger King I have ever experienced. It's the only one by my work so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and have visited multiple times, and each time I get rude service and burgers that are basically only patties!!!

Anxiety inducing drive thru There’s always a problem. It starts from the order station, lately I’ve waited 4-5 minutes for someone to even say “hi welcome to McDonald’s can I take your order”. The pace is super slow at night around 10-11pm. If there are 3-4 cars ahead of you, you can get mentally prepared to wait 20-30 mins before you’re out. I work in Burlington and they are light years ahead of this location.

The part that makes this establishment awful is the atmosphere. You guys need to monitor your weekday overnight staff. They literally can’t make a junior chicken without messing it up, with no other cars in the drive thru. I’ve worked at McDonald’s, this is usually the same people every night. Please step it up. It’s not hard. Like put the mayo in the centre of the bun not half on the wrapper. Put the cheese on a McDouble between the Patties. and the onion on the top bun with the sauce lol. It’s literally day one training.

My mom ordered a chicken bacon deluxe which should include lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, cheese, and obviously the chicken patty and the two buns and sauce. But when we got it, it was in the proper box that said deluxe and she paid for the deluxe burger but received just the two buns and the chicken patty NOTHING ELSE not even the sauce worst food ever but they were really nice giving the food but not making it

It almost looked like delivery orders were getting priority over the people picking up although this is just speculation of course. Disaster. Soap empty in washrooms. Asked staff multiple times and finally had to flag down manager to express my frustration. Can’t even wash my kids hands before eating. All garbages full, order board full, long wait times. Talked to staff who said they just started two days ago and have had no training. Just avoid the dining room here and pray they drive through isn’t a horrible wait time.

They consistently dishonor their hours of operations when it comes to 3rd party delivery services, and even when they do, it's as if it was food that was cooked 2 hours before. Change your hours to better reflect quality of service on aggregators, and stop calling those customers an hour AFTER they've ordered. Absolutely ridiculous for something that is posted as a "LATE NIGHT" option

Often do not have items on the menu available. Ordered Hot Cakes for Dinner for our special needs son which is not uncommon told again they don't have them. Try explaining to a child who had his heart set on something that he can't have it but they have no concept as to why.

This McDonald’s place is so busy in Ancaster area. They have a drive thru service which you can order your food in a bit faster process. The place is very clean and spacious and the the staff are friendly and welcoming. Although it was very crowded and busy my order was ready in less that 8 minutes

Waited 40 minutes for my hash brown at 5:40am… and the rest of my kids happy meal…they said it would take a few minutes…no apologies, no coupon offered. Unfortunate customer service, obvious internal issues.

Always friendly! They're fast but of course sometimes they're inundated so you have to wait in a parking spot but even when that happens a nice employee is delivering the food within a couple of minutes.
