"Great hotel, sorry I don't have more pictures of the room"
"Great location and great service"
This was our first visit to Seattle, and we loved this hotel. It does a great job of appearing historic without being dated. Maintenance and cleanliness were perfect. The staff were great. The door attendants took our suitcases in and showed us to the front desk. The reception desk staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Room Service was fast, and the breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable, and the bed linen was good. The only complaint about the room might be that the shower head was mounted pretty low for a tall person. Overall, the Mayflower Hotel was a wonderful experience.

Standard room was comparable to any other hotel in that class and larger than most that age.
Nearby activities
Located close to the monorail and many shops, bars, restaurants, etc.
Safety
100% Door staff at the front entrance. The side door required a room key. There are safes in the rooms.
Walkability
We easily walked to the Piers, Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, and everywhere else we wanted to go.
Food & drinks
We only had one breakfast in the hotel, and it was superb.

Hotel is in a fantastic location. Great historical building. Rooms look clean but dated. The room is dark which isn’t my style. the only small window facing a wall didn’t help. More lighting would be great. The bathroom is painfully small, the queen size bed was terrible (you feel every movement by other person), and the ac was loud and annoying. Thin walls as we could hear every conversation in the room next to us. Showers do get hot but has antiquated controls. Biggest surprise was after reading all of the high ratings about service that our check-in experience was completely underwhelming. The front desk person didn’t seem very polished and was just short of being unfriendly. He was abrupt and unwelcoming. Housekeeping uses radio to communicate and has it on full volume which is super annoying if you are taking a nap. Overall service was not great. Not sure I would bother coming back.

Hotel staff were the best! The man at the front desk gave a quick and easy check in process, the young lady at the desk was the sweetest, and to Sebastian, for valet, to go out of his way to help us with the tour guide to find and us and stored our luggage after checkout. Hotel rooms were clean, and you can tell it was recently renovated. The beds, however, were definitely not comfortable. Location is great, and it was connected directly to the Westlake Shopping Center, but the alarms at night from the city are a bother when you are trying to sleep.

Great hotel, sorry I don't have more pictures of the room. What matters to me was the room and bathroom was clean and very comfortable. The staff was attentive, pleasant, and efficient. The vallet is worth the money since parking can be very difficult to find and rather costly. If you plan ahead and call at least 15 minutes before you need your car they should have it waiting for you (I didn't have to wait once). The hotel is in prime location to everything and very easy to come and go.

Great location and great service. Someone is standing outside to help with luggage and open the doors for you. Then inside, there's someone to help you to your room if you'd like. We got there about eight hours before check-in, and they had a room available for us to go to, which was fantastic. Super old hotel, but has been renovated nicely, but it still looks like an older hotel. The room was nice, but my only complaint is the toilet is really low, and I'm only five feet tall. Easy to walk everywhere in downtown.

This hotel is much more than a place to stay. The service is beyond measure. We had first class service everywhere, Samantha in Oliver’s made our game night special. And we must thank Robert at the front desk for his extraordinary care before and after we checked in. He is incredible and the best ambassador for the Mayflower Park brand. Bravo!!!

Luxury
A nice historic hotel near everything. Steps away from all forms of transit. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and nicely decorated. The only reason for the missing star is unavoidable. Because it is historic, you can hear other guests in adjacent rooms. It's not a noisy place, but we had one "loud talking" neighbor and another that chose to sleep with their soothing music loud enough to bother us a little. A really nice place over all.

Beautiful, old style hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle. Service was great right from the Valet parking, through check-in and even room service - we got our breakfast in under 30 minutes! Oliver's Bar is a Seattle staple, with the best Manhattans and Martinis around. The Mayflower has been our must-visit every time we come into the city for shopping or an event!

I really like this hotel. It maintains an old charm without actually being old (it's very well maintained). The room was pretty good. Service is efficient. The location is great, 2 blocks from Pike Place. I thought the price was fair.

This hotel is oozing with historical charm! It is like a 1930s time capsule, but with the modern luxuries you'd want in a new hotel. The rooms were very clean and cozy, with a fun blend of modern and classic touches. Check in and check out were seamless, and you can't beat the location. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
