The sausage roll I had was really nice, it was hot, fresh and tasty. There wasn't a huge selection of pastries or cakes which it was you would normally expect to see in a bakery when you go in after the lunch rush but this was just before lunch time so felt it was a bit lacking. The register didn't have any two dollar coins in it for them to give me change and apparently the task of opening and putting a new roll of two dollar coins in the register required both people behind the counter leaving a customer waiting to order his food. Prices were a bit high as well - $6 for a sausage roll and most of the pies. I probably won't be going back here knowing that there is only a small selection of food and inept service - not for the prices they charge.

$6.95 for a normal pasty way too expensive It was a nice pasty and the guy that served me was lovely (when he finally come out from out the back) was waiting several minutes in the store before he realised I was even there But $6.95 for a simple pasty not worth it I won't be going back any time soon Also to get there I missed the store first off so had to go back but could not turn around so spent 15min going down the road turning around then couldn't turn around again so had to turn hear turn there wait at the lights turn around was a headach to try to get to Not worth the aggravation not much parking around

Absolutely love the Mayfair Bakery & Patisserie in Port Adelaide. Amazing quality baked goods. Recently ordered home delivery via the Uber Eats app, purchasing a couple of beautiful Quiche and a divine Cheesecake. Very Tasty, and Fresh. Will continue to be a customer and couldn’t be happier! • Due to South Australia being in COVID-19 lockdown (July 2021) restrictions are in place, But you can still enjoy their delicious food by ordering home delivery or pickup, because they are offering their customers this option. They also have an Instagram page, so go follow them and support them. #supportlocalbusiness

Vegan doughnuts, pasties and sausage rolls available which is great, as well as some cake options! Decent hot chocolate. Some of their patisserie could be better - the meringue on top of the lemon meringue pie was over baked and the lemon filling could have been more curd like. However the custard tart and the raspberry white chocolate cheesecakes were delicious, the pastry was crisp and the fillings tender. I would recommend it for vegans though as it’s great having choice! Really friendly and helpful staff. It’s a great choice down in the port.

I love this place - the food is absolutely delicious! It has become very expensive recently though. Very high prices for some pastries, and you don’t realise until they’ve bagged it for you already because they don’t display prices. There’s also no pricing consistency between staff - sometimes it seems like they just make up the price on the spot.

Your bakery use to be best . But unfortunately you stopped making ham & cheese pasties .which where so delicious they were all my family would buy .And you stopped making them which was a great lost .Can only wish you had a baker who can start making them would be fantastic. But for now you have lost me as a value customer for now..

The most delicious vegan sausage roll I’ve ever had!! Highly recommend it regardless of if you’re vegan or not. It has a meat like texture. Good vegan and vegetarian savoury and sweet options. The vegan wattle seed cake was delicious. Great coffee and friendly staff. This place is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Mayfair is my new favorite cafe in Port Adelaide! Good service. I had a superb cappuccino: low on froth and high on flavour. Their outside tables are a great place to stop and soak up the history of the Port. I loved the chimes of the Town Hall across the street. I'll hopefully be back soon to try some of their baked goodies.

The team is brilliant! Cheesecakes are die for! The most important part why we love them is because the team has great attitude to improve themselves all the time, and happily help customers to solve any existing or potential issues. Will recommend them to all other businesses and friends!!

What happened to Mayfair bakery Port Adelaide. I tried them today. They have nothing like the old Mayfair food. Different pies and different cakes. In my opinion the pies i ate today were tastless and disgusting. I will never return . Keeping the name wont save your business. Good luck.

What a wonderful little bakery. Stopped by for a sweet treat and a coffee and had zero complaints. Everything was delicious and the coffee very good, even better was the friendly service from the staff and owner. Can't wait to stop by again next time I'm down that way.

  • Sam Chamberlain

Oh wow what a treasure to find, from the friendly service to the delicious cakes everything was amazing! Can't wait to return and try some more delicious goodies. This cheesecake was the only one to survive for a pic hehehe ooops #SorryNotSorry #MayfairBakery #SoGood

  • Andrew Cadd

Love their Cornish pasty and slices. I wasn't generally a fan of the simple Aussie chocolate donut but Mayfairs make the best I've ever had. I'm also usually not a fan of baked cheesecakes except for Mayfair's - they are delicious!

  • Ron Mills

Been buying their pasties for years. Really disappointed yesterday, no filling for 4cm each end and barely enough filling in middle of pasty. Looks like quality dropping off to save on pasty filling, but still $5+. Beware.

  • A C

Pies use to be great but lately they have been lacking meat. I purchased two different pies on two different days and both had virtual no meat. I was very disappointed Please consider this as helpful feed back.

  • Adam Sydor

Friendly service and amazing food, this is a hidden gem. I got a smoked kransky with apple slaw or something in it, wow!!! Even the plain meat pie tasted awesome! Good work staff/owners, I will be back.

  • Blake Lawrence

Went in after a visit to the maritime museum. Highly recommend. Pies, pasties and sausage rolls were amazing and so was the coffee. The cakes looked great too. Well worth the small detour.

  • Nicholas Sanderson

Fantastic bakery! Has the best donuts in Adelaide, which are also Vegan. Staff are incredibly friendly and accomodating! My favourite bakery and one of the hidden gems in Port Adelaide!

  • missy l

Asked for a box as I was buying a selection of treats. Looked away and realized staff had put it all in brown bags. The tops of all my doughnuts and treats got stuck on the paper!

  • Ben Jammin

Food might be alright but the drivers for this company are terrible. Cut off and abused by a Mayfair driver. Will be telling everyone I know to avoid this shop because of this.

  • The anonymous account

Really good bakery and customer service. My only complaint is they were a bit stingy with the sauce on my pie, but the filling was so tasty it almost didn't need it...almost
