No respect for customer’s time. First they didn’t know I had an appointment, then they let me wait 30 mins although I was on time. When I said I wouldn’t have time now for a blow dry and asked if we could only do the fringe trim I was told “I can’t do it really on dirty hair”. No hairdresser ever couldn’t trim my fringe for a ridiculous reason as this. Despite the fact my hair was fresh and they could have, like any other professional, wet sprayed and blow dried the fringe prior to cutting. The staff is slow and then tell you “it’s a busy time”. Waste of time. Stay away. Reply to your reply: my appointment was at 11 and you sat me down at 20 past, then looked after someone else and got back at 11:30. I don’t usually reply to reviews but you could have told me at the beginning. And I was never asked for the stylists name so how was I supposed to know, I didn’t know who would be the stylist in the first place. Yes, it’s a busy time of year but other hairdressers manage their time better and provide a personal service also ‍♀️

I went to maven about 4 weeks ago so excited to have a make over. I'd just had a baby and was getting ready to go on my holidays so wanted a nice change. Sarah did my hair. I asked for a balyage style I'm naturally blonde so really just the ends brighter and a cut from long to medium lenght. I had asked already for an estimate before I booked and she had told me from €160- €180 so I had an idea. It was €180 which was fine because I knew it would be around that. I was disgusted that my hair wasn't blow dried properly it was blasted dry and I left the shop with frizzy hair and was meeting my boyfriend who was excited to see my new look. I wouldn't normally pay that much for my hair I was treating myself and to leave dissopointed after paying that much money is a joke. VERY unprofessional and I tied my hair in a bun when I got outside. Needless to say I will not be back. Very poor customer service

Michelle and her team at Maven were an absolute JOY to work with! Michelle and 3 of her ladies came to do my bridal party’s hair and makeup for my wedding — everyone was incredibly pleased and felt so good about themselves! I was especially impressed at their efficiency and talent (they did 9 ladies in 5 hours). They listened to each of my friend’s requests and executed everything beautifully. One of my bridesmaids said “I’ve never felt so beautiful” and I was so happy that they managed to make me look glamorous AND naturally me at the same time. 11/10 recommend for your big day!

Sayla has been doing my hair for a few years now and everytime I'm left in awe of how beautiful my colour does be. She is a super super talented artist and is so passionate about hair colour, styling and haircare. I honestly wouldn't trust another soul to colour my hair. She is simply amazing!! The Maven hair studio is a cool and calm space and you can tell as soon as you walk in that everyone loves to be there which is a breath of fresh air. You won't find a better collection of hair artists anywhere else!!

Amazing service, Rendy did my hair, I desperately needed a haircut and decided to try Brazilian progressive keratin treatment to help with my frizzy curly hair. I'm delighted with the results, he even repeated it after 10 days for my stubborn hair went curly again. Definitely will be back. As soon as my hair recovers a bit from the treatment Im back to do the balayage . Thanks for everything guys

My hairdresser rents a chair in maven keeping her costs low ...i have frizzy curly hair and ive been with her 7 years ...ive followed her everywhere !!! She's a fab hairdresser and a really nice friendly person ....she listens and takes on board my concerns etc about my hair ...ive cheated on her a few times but am never looking at another hairdresser !!!!!

We had Michelle and her team do my hair and my bridesmaids' for my wedding last month and she was sensational! All the girls chose something different and they all looked beautiful and their personalities shone through. Not to mention she's a delight to have around :) Couldn't recommend more!

I get my hair done with Kathy and she is excellent. She always gives me a great style that suits me & my hair and that I can manage. She always spends time discussing what you would like and what would suit you. I would highly recommend her.

Siobhan Hirrel is the best!!! She takes time to talk through what you want and has the technical skills to deliver! She also gives amazing advice about how to keep your hair healthy and what products you can use to achieve your #hairgoals

Absolutely 5/5 for my new hair do! Love it! Michelle is a sorceress with a scissors, and a magician with hair colour. I'm not leaving this page anytime soon!
