Masjid Maamur is a grand mosque in terms of comfort and splendor. It is a stwo storied building with a modern interior design. It has a ladies section, a clean ablition area, toilets and once had a space to park almost 5 cars within it's compound. Now the compound area has been fitted with tiles for the believers to pray on, especially helpful during Friday jumuah prayers when it gets crowded. For parking, space is usually available on the street opposite the mosque. But all in all, Masjid Maamur is one of the best masjids in Dar es salaam.

Its a well organized mosque with a section for women which is a plus point!!!! Its well carpeted and fully air conditioned and it's always nicely maintained (hygiene wise). There is ample space inside (on the women's side). The mosque also has funeral services (prices are put on the notice board) they also have morgue services and ambulance services. Parking is a major problem though especially during Friday prayers and Ramadan nights.

Clean and spacious women's praying area.that is well-kept. The a/c is in good condition. The praying area is one floor upstairs. There's no elevator. There's an outdoor praying area for those who can't climb the stairs. The entry to the women's area is to the right to the men's entry and exactly next to Lazziz Bakery (just a few steps after the men's entry if the mosque is to your left).

This mosque is very very noisy, uses external speakers for all events, which is strictly prohibited, and is a nuisance to all the neighbors. Further, it does not comply by the noise regulations set in place by NECMA, Tanzania. A mosque is meant to be a place of connecting with the divine in peace, not a place responsible for creating unwanted noise pollution.

One of the best options for Friday prayer in and around the city of Dar Es Salaam. The mosque is spacious and has an area for ladies as well. This mosque also has facilities to wash and prepare the departed for burial. Also has a short term storage facility on site.

Very touching and educative speeches from the Imam, fascinating and clean environment, and availability of all essential Islamic services. Above all, you get true and friendly interraction with fellow worshipers.

Love it...spacious...its one of the best Masjid in Dar as its packed every fridays...hard to get parking spots if ya late and the road is congested between the time of Salat Jumuah and just after prayers.

Beautiful mosque! Make sure to keep your shoes with the clerk's on the right side as soon as you enter the mosque and then take your card otherwise you are going home barefooted!

Great Masjid. Very clean and well managed. I just pray for the management and sponsor to be Sunna adherents. No bid'a please. They provide ambulance and all burial services.
