I found Martinez movers here on google and called to see if by any chance they would be able to do a same day move and she said YES!!! I was so happy because to find same day movers is not a thing.... so Sylvia quoted me a price and she even confirmed the price with a text. Upon the arrival the men were excellent and took care of our belongings perfectly!!! They did an amazing job!!! Then as always it came time to pay and the price was different... In telling the gentleman this he did state, well we have it recorded and if she said this we must honor it.... He was able to get Sylvia on the phone and as I’m explaining to her aboutThe price she quoted, she told me in a not so nice manner sweetie I’ve been doing this for years I know what I told you!!! So I said ok but if that was The case I would have taken more cash out as there is a fee to pay with cc... so the gentleman said I could go to the atm.... as I’m arriving back to my apartment the men are walking out and I’m like what happened and my partner said that Sylvia did quote me what I said but we still ended up paying more!!! We were going to give them a tip which would have amounted to the amount that they walked away with!! but it’s different story when someone is asking for a price that was not quoted!!! I would like to thank the gentleman who moved our belongings they were so kind and gentle.... I would consider using them again!! The moral of this review is you can do an amazing job but when your quoted a certain amount it should be honored!!

Incredible experience from start to finish! Silvia was so helpful with booking our move with Martinez Movers, and she remained super responsive whenever we had questions before the move. On the day of the move, Luis and two of his men showed up right on time. Although we had booked three Relocubes (justtt in case we needed the extra space), we only wanted to use two if possible to save on some extra costs. Luis and his guys were amazing at packing the cubes in the most efficient manner such that we only used two cubes AND had a little extra space to spare! They worked efficiently, wrapped everything with care using moving blankets and shrink wrap (we LOVED how shrink wrap was included with Martinez Movers - a huge plus!), and were courteous and professional the entire time. (Of note, we did disassemble some of the furniture prior to make things go a little more smoothly on the move date (ex. bed frame, table legs), but they helped disassemble any additional furniture that needed it on the move date.) They have a two-hour minimum, and they managed to complete the job in exactly two hours! The costs were reported upfront (no hidden last minute random fees) as well. We have only great words for Martinez Movers and would highly recommend them for any move!

We used Martinez Movers for our Long Distance move from San Antonio to Wisconsin. We have moved long distance several times and this was by far our best experience for several reasons: Service: Everybody that we worked with extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. They wanted to make sure we were satisfied and felt comfortable at all times. Quality: These guys do furniture packing the right way. They put blankets on in the house and then shrink wrap the blankets around the furniture. This is THE right way to move furniture and the first time we had seen this done. Most wrap the furniture in the truck. We moved from a 5 BR home over 1,200 miles and only had one glass bowl that broke. That is fantastic! Process: The main reason we went with Martinez Movers is that they guaranteed the delivery date. None of the big companies do that. They always try to maximize their load. This was worth a lot to us and made planning our move so much easier. I highly recommend Martinez Movers. This family owned company is doing it right!

On 7/31 I called to schedule a 1bdrm apt move and was told they were booked, later that morning they called back and said they had a cancellation for 2:00, I said ok Eric asked for a $40 deposit because people cancel on them...i paid it...they never showed after numerous calls and texts they finally showed up the following day about 4:45 they two workers were great but it was obvious they were tired. I took 3 hours to move a 1 bdrm apartment and I loaded my SUV full and they didn't even take everything at 2 hrs they said they had to go and I need to call the owner so I did...he was rude and hateful and accused me of trying to scam him..out of what Idk? Needless to say my 7 mile move for 1 bdrm apt cost almost 300 the owner was rude and terrible to deal with he threated to dump my stuff and made remarks about the condition of my stuff. I'm on SS and was treated badly and they just threw my stuff in my new place.

Excellent experience with this small family-run company. I was given a free quote with one of the owners walking through my house - which I think gave a more accurate quote than an online form. The bid was more competitive than several other companies I interviewed, and I really like that 1 of 2 owners supervise the crew on moving day. They pulled up on time, brought 4 movers, and loaded/unloaded a 2 story house to another 2 story within 6 hours. The crew was very courteous and respectful with all items and worked really hard. What was even more impressive was the only “damage” was a small scratch on a chair leg... which, for a large move like ours, is really quite impressive. When asked to move pieces of furniture, they did so with a positive attitude. I would use them again and refer them to all of my friends and family.

Can’t emphasize enough how awesome this company was. They moved my entire house out of a storage unit and into my new home. I stressed to them that a few items I had where extremely important to me and couldn’t afford to have them damaged. They not only took care of those items but also wrapped them with additional blankets to protect them better than what I had done. They placed blankets on the floor in my new home to protect the hardwood floors. They Assembled furniture and installed washer and dryer for me as well. Everyone in the crew was professional and polite. They were in uniform and all wore masks to adhere to covid precautions which we really appreciated. If your looking for a moving company I suggest you look no further! I would use and recommend these guys in a heartbeat.

I cannot recommend Martinez Movers enough. Silvia was amenable to us switching our move date on short notice. Luis and his team Tetris-ed our UHAUL so well that our movers that unloaded the truck in NY asked who packed our truck, because they had done it so well. We would not have been able to do this move without them. Not only were they efficient, kind, and careful, but Luis and George went out of their way to help us pick up an extra tow trailer and eyeball the exact size we needed (again, we would not have been able to do this ourselves)— we did not have a hitch to do this so they drove my partner and used their own. So far, we have only the expected damage you get with moving- tiny scratches on things we didn’t take the time to wrap. BOOK THEM, it is so worth it.

This is the second time that we have used the Martinez Movers removal service and they are really very professional, fast, careful with your belongings and very happy. My parents gave me some furniture and I needed assistance to move it from their home to my apartment. I called numerous companies for quotes but Martinez Movers had reasonable prices. Than I looked them up on BBB and ranked an A. I was sold. I have to say Luis and Julio did an awesome job. They disassembled and removed the furniture in a timely matter and also assembled both bedroom sets for me. They were very friendly. Luis has a great personality and they took care of my furniture. I would highly recommend Martinez Movers. I called around to about 10 moving companies and they were by far the best price. We needed assistance to help with an eviction. We needed 10 movers to be at the property at a specific time to remove everything out of the property. All 10 employees showed up and were on time. This was a very big deal for us because if they were late or if somebody didn’t show up we would not have been able to proceed with the eviction. They were all so professional from beginning to end. Martinez Moving Co telephoned me on the day of the move that they would be early. I did not mind this at all and actually preferred an earlier move particularly when it is hot. Mr. Martinez came with a crew Sunday morning. He, and his crew, were very professional, efficient, and quick. He was very communicative with me. At the end of the job they asked me to walk through the truck to confirm it was emptied out. I had other movers who were never this transparent. I appreciated this very much. Moving furniture is never easy, but the guys at Martinez movers did it quickly and efficiently. Luis and Juan packed everything up safely and made sure that nothing was damaged during the process. Because we're in the middle of a pandemic, I was even more worried about the process. They wore masks and when I expressed concerned about the fit of one of their masks, they didn't hesitate to correct it. If I'm ever moving again, I'll know who to call.
