Marden Shopping Centre is a well laid out venue with all of the shops you would likely need ,in one convenient location. Woollies is the anchor store, along with Dan Murphy's Liquor, but you will also find a great barber, butcher, lingerie boutique, florist/gift store, newsagent, nail salon, cafe/coffee shops, sushi bar, optometrist, op shop, pet store, Indian store with all sorts of goodies, massage, awesome bakery, pharmacy and shoe repair store - I hope I haven't missed anything :-) With COVID hitting, sadly there are a few empty shops including what used to be a wonderful fruit and veg store, and a bank - but hopefully 2021 will bring a resurgence to this practical and centrally located shopping centre. Parking is a breeze with a choice of undercover and above ground parks, as well as super convenient parking right next to the many entrances.

Many empty shops. Common Wealth Bank closed down. One fruit and vegetable closed down. Popular with old Italians. The old men gather there every day for a drink and chat together. FOR A LONG TIME NOW DAN MURPHY'S FALSELY ADVERTISED THAT THEY HAVE THE CHEAPEST PRICES!!! HOW DO THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS FALSE ADVERTISING. JUST ONE BEER. COOPERS SPARKING ALE $22.99 FOR 6 CANS I WENT IN THERE 2 WEEKS AGO AND SHOW THEM RECEIPTS FROM GLYNDE HOTEL, AND LIQUID LAND THAT THEIR PRICES HAVE BEEN $22.00 FOR THE SAME PRODUCT!! I HAVE A DAN MURPHY'S CARD AND ONE DAY AGO RECEIVED AN EMAIL THAT THEY HAVE A SPECIAL ON COOPERS SPARKING ALE 6 CANS. GUESS WHAT. $22.99 FOR 6 WHAT SORT OF SPECIAL IS THAT???

Marden Shopping Center is a convenient and well-equipped shopping complex. It offers a variety of stores such as Woolworths, Asian supermarkets, grocery stores, pet stores, butchers, fruit stores, vegetable stores, bottle shop, pharmacies, locksmith, newsagents, hair salon and more. The center provides free parking spaces, making it easy to find a spot even on busy weekends. Whether you're looking for groceries, household items, or specific products, Marden Shopping Center has you covered. The availability of a wide range of stores ensures that you can find everything you need in one place.

There needs to be more variety and choices to compete with a mediocre supermarket selling low quality, tasteless, and expensive food. Someone in charge was very mean to remove the seating near the central fountain. It was nice having those retired Italian men sitting around talking - made the place feel warm and friendly. These shops were better 30-40 years ago. Times change! So sad too bad... Presently, I am forced to go there using only a pushbike. As soon as I can afford a motorized cycle I will certainly shop elsewhere for better quality, cheaper food.

It's ok. Not quite the same as it used to be. Too many new shops or workers that don't take the time to know you. Marden used to be like living in a small country town where everyone knew everyone. There are some great places - Marden coffee ☕️ lounge is very friendly and they will remember you; Marden Amcal; like 2 workers in Woolworths (everyone else doesn't bother with being friendly esp to the 'locals who are always there); Kicco are really nice to you. But that's about it.

  • Jessica Highett

Nice little selection of shops. Eg, Woolworths, butcher, fruit and veg, cheap as chips and Dan Murphys just to name a few. But for some reason, there's always a "revolving door" regarding small cafe's. I was disappointed to go there last week to find the whole food cafe section was gone! There isn't anywhere in that shopping centre where you can get a coffee and a quick hot snack anymore! It definitely needs a PERMANENT cafe style place to sit down and enjoy a coffee and lunch.

I do my weekly shop at Woolworths. Good range of products, especially fruit and veg. There is a speciality fruit and veg shop as well and a good butcher. The Nail salon is tops and so is the little lingerie boutique. There are 2 chemists, Dan Murphy, Post Office, Massage, Novelty shop, Pet Shop, Op Shop, Tattoo Parlor, Barber, Florist, Continental Deli, News Agent, Hearing centre, Spec Savers, a good coffee shop and a small Asian takeaway.

  • Aftab mehregan

It is small center and good for local but all shops except woolworth and Dan morphy very soon are closing. I dont know what is problem in ADELAIDE that day want go to home and sleep!! They say economic grow is negative and job does not find here and circulation of money is bad. Yes it should be happen becuase the time of shopping people working and after their work the shops are closed. Result ? All people go to home and sleep like birds

Woolworth supermarket is good as is the Danmurphys which is owned by Woolworths. But the other facilities and services within this centre u can see are struggling. Why are their 3 fruit and vegetables outlets in such a small retail area, two coffee shops totally unwarranted and just rental greed by the Centre owners. The ancillary stores to the supermarket try hard have good product but I fear for their survival

  • Gaurang Joshi

It has drastically improved after the redevelopment exercise. There is a woolies and Dan Murphys bottle shop, National pharmacy(entrance on outside), amcal pharmacy, post office, news agency and a few fresh produce shops. There is a shoe repair shop, a bakery and clothing alterations shop as well. I would love to see more shops there. Parking is still a kind of issue there as it is congested .

  • Jen

A great shopping place with a supermarket, fresh veggies and fruits, a post office, specialty shops, a barber, a butcher, a pet shop, and two coffee shops. You can get your morning coffees before or after doing the weekly shopping. The veggies and fruit shop has a good range and quality produce which are very reasonably priced. Its staff are friendly.

  • Justin Boxer

Has changed over the years. Has a Woolworths, a good priced barber (I go here if my usual barber isn't available). Has a fruit & veg, a few different eating places , a post office, a cheap shop, an RSPCA op shop and more (I haven'tdone a recent full explore of the centre - some shops are inside, and some are only accessiblefrom the outside..

  • Sue Jarvis

Recent renovations have improved this centre. The woolies is now much larger and has a good range of products. The parking has been improved with some under cover. A couple of fruit and veg shows, a butcher, and an Amcal and a few others. A smallish centre, but has everything you need for your regular shop as well as a few others shops.

  • Adam Sando (mr f)

The complex is a very bizarre, pokey, poorly laid out centre. A few shops are underground, a few on one side in a hard-to-get area, others nestled neatly inside... it's a bit hard to get around to them if you need a few different things. Parking is better after the recent renovation, but it's a tough place to get in and out of.

  • haydon grigg

To be honest it's an average shopping centre with nothing to big about it. There is a unique water fountain at the main section on the centre which is nice. There is plenty of parking. They do have a few different selections of business and produces. The place is average but it dose delivery what it needed.

  • Nils Allen-Bayes

Good little shopping centre with hair dressers, cafes, chemist, newsagent, post office,Dan murphys and Woolworths. Trolley attendants need to learn to leave atleast one trolley i the trolley bays as having young children and having to walk into Woolworths just to get a trolley is both inconvenient and a hassle.

  • Paul McCormack

Has recently had a fifteen million dollar upgrade which added another 39 car parking spaces, but there are still too many shops awaiting lease. Both the butcher and the small fruit and veg shops (there's two) are excellent, selling produce of the highest quality accompanied by wonderful customer service.

  • Mike Blatz

It's my "local" shop, just a few steps from home. I'd give it a better rating but the landlords aren't seriously involved in addressing environmental issues about smoking in undercover carparks, especially as the main offenders are the trolley trolls. Just spoils the otherwise pleasant experience.

  • Danny Pinzone

It has almost everything I need. My Specsavers is there, my Barber is there, my Amcal Chemist is there at Marden Shopping Centre and many others stores, like a great Newsagency, a Bakery, a Woolworths Supermarket, and the Marden Post Office. You'll always find a park at Marden Shopping Centre!!

  • Lisa Barr

It’s a pretty nice little shopping village but Sunday’s can be quiet with a number of shops closed. Parking can be a little hectic sometimes and hard to manoeuvre so be careful. The Woolworths there is always stocked well and busy. Nice butcher and a couple of fruit and veg stores.

  • Lilian Huber

Marden Shopping Centre has been around for a long time. I used to take my mum there. We always stopped for sushi and coffee. All very yum and nice friendly staff. All essential shopping is there. There is a greater number of older citizens that shop there. It's a comfortable place.

  • BangDroid

The Woolies here is pretty poor. A few good variety and specialty stores. A decent Barber. A great green grocer. The complex is currently undergoing renovations and can be a little noisy at the moment, but the whole place will be much better once rejuvenated. Generally very clean.

  • Cosmosis

I kind of grew up around this shopping centre, so there's a bit of nostalgia. Everything is basically as you ex porch from a suburban mall, all the basics, grocery, bakery, news agent, etc... a few little take away places and a great liquor store. People are generally pretty nice.

  • Ian Loxton

Small but convenient shopping centre. Split level so stairs, from the bottom parking area or park up at the top section if you want disability access. All of the lower level car park's are under cover. The Centre has clean toilets and shops look to be in good condition.

  • Gabby O'Neill

Great local shopping centre. it just needs a little more pep. Pet shop is very fabulous, great people at the Dan Murphy's, Asian supermarket, woolies, newsagent, couple of cafe's, butcher, & fab chemist - very helpful & knowledgeable & THE best fresh fruit & vege shop.

  • Damien West

While it's currently undergoing redevelopment this centre had better get some stores. I mean there's a good butcher and green grocer, Dan Murphys and woolies but other than that a heap of run down badly managed stores. The Woolworths here isn't too bad for a woolies.

  • Susan B

Still some empty shop fronts. Some new businesses have leased. One major grocery store Woolworths and Dan Murphy's. Seperate fruit and vegetable store and butcher. Good kingerie shop, Specsavers, Amcal chemist, Newsagency, shoe repairer and Kaisercraft shops.

  • Lee Manolakis

Empty shops. Looks like a ghost town. Only good for Woolworths. Always stinks like viniger In the mall. Very sad and lonely mall. The cheap discount store is always messy. Bra store always has sign back in 5. Needs more shops there. Should be called sad land

  • Dean Manly

I get all haircuts there cheap they do a great job. I got my hearing aid there. I do my banking there Com Bank. The post office * Woolworths & Also the the RSPCA Thrift Shop I've picked up some expensive second hand items in new condition...dirt cheap.

  • Jay Mitra

All the basics are covered however there is limited choice in what stock is held at most stores due to the small size of the centre. The stores that have been there a long time are successful because they offer value and know their customers.

  • Davide Avachat

I enjoy visiting Marden Shopping Centre. I can do my shopping at a large Woolworth's store which has new plastic trolleys. They're lighter and easier to manage than the more cumbersome metal trolleys. They do far less damage to cars in the

  • Barbara Leggett

Very nicely renewed all in Marden shopping centre plenty of room to move . Woolworth's grocery shopping very spacious . There are cafes if you want coffee of meal . Large green grocery shops. Chemist . Large bottle shop. Deli. Meet shop.

  • Susie Young

Busy on the weekends. Love the undercover car park. There are different shops there, to name a few are: Woolworths, massage, nails, fruits and vegetables, optical, pet, coffee etc. My favourite local go-to shopping place.

  • Joan Galloway

I love their Woolies, so much variety. The fresh fruit and veg shops have great products at fantastic prices. Also check out the RSPCA Op Shop. Really good prices and an excellent range of products.

  • I. A. Carrera

I personally go there for the Woolie and butchers as well as some of the nearby restaurants like KFC, Barnacle Bills, Red Rock and Marden Takeaway, the main drawback is there are no public toilets.

  • Simon Brown

Great little shopping complex. Large variety of stores to suit every need. Staff are helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking available. Layout of the complex is good with a couple of entry points.

  • Vinodhan Gopalan

Pretty good mall close to city. I drop by after work for groceries at Woollies but must other shops within the mall will be close. A lot of parking, including under cover for those rainy days.

  • Stephen Carthew

On the corner of Portrush Rd at Marden. This mid size shopping centre is anchored by Woolworths, chemist, butcher Commonwealth Bk, shoe repairs, coffee shop + more on 2 levels. Good parking.

  • Lat Lat

Good for necessities! But if you want to withdraw money… there’s no banks around. There used to a commbank there but they closed it down. They should put a few atm so people can withdraw.

  • Geoffrey Ronaldson

Friendly and social bowls club with active coaching for those wanting beginner, intermediate or advance coaching. Winter 2-4-2 on Mondays and Saturdays at 12:00 and triples on Wednesday.

  • Mohd Im

I have been shopping here for over 20 years plus, it's an ok place to shop it has under cover parking..Like most shops prices can vary from store to store other than that it's not bad

  • Deanna Nikolettos

My favourite continental shop, and lovely shopping centre. Sam and the team are always friendly and helpful when shopping there. They have a wonderful range of foods and cold meats.

  • Sylvia Barnett

Good Centre, but hate the parking. Or I should say trying to leave the parking. Other drivers seem quite rude and won't allow you to pull out. Don't go there much for this reason!

  • Gen Evieve

Very few shops. Looking dark and quiet. No large retail such as Kmart, Target or BigW…only Woolworths to come here for. Not a good one-stop shop if you’re hoping to shop here.

  • Celia Cervantes

They have woolworths, veggie shop, butcher shop, pet shop, post office ,bottle shop and other small shops around, clean. There's an asian shop also but a bit pricey.

  • Peter Kubler

Good covered car parking and woollies have a large range of goods. One can find Specsaver, 2 chemists and a greengrocer, vegies shop, and a new coffee shop as well

  • Rebecca Bosman

Not very inviting, some stores are vacant. Both cafes ordinary food, amplifon is good, chemist good. Bakery ok. Not a shopping centre I would like to go regularly

  • Michael

Nice now the place has had a facelift. Woolworths is nice and new, stocking a wide range of products, and the small shops have a bit of everything you might need.

  • Ju Smith

A largish Woolworths and some good fruit and veg store there as well. Also a bakery and a Dan Murphy's so you van get all your food and alcohol needs in one place

  • Joan Zilm

Very quiet area. Has a Good low price shop. The green grocery had excellent fruit with a huge variety. Newsagent was very friendly and had some very good deals.

  • Margie MacLeod

As usual, good range of fruit, vegetables, breads etc. The staff are always genuinely very nice. They don't treat you like you are burden to their day. ☺️ …

  • M Ar

Must go place for vegetables and fruits. It has Woolworths, slice super market and coffee shop and many more shops it was a very clean and neat shopping centre

  • Rosalind Wilton

Lack of variety for such a major location, especially since Pink Lotus left. Not much to offer in the way of dining options. Disability parking is a nightmare

  • Malcolm Wilkinson

Did not really explore or use the centre as only dropped in for a coffee. It was clean, good parking, good range of services and stores from what l saw.

  • Carolyn Tompkins

I love the Marden shopping centre new layout. I could imagine it would be easier to access for people in wheelchairs or mobility issues. Ten out of ten.

  • Sandor Karl

Tired, rabbit warren like. Multi level. Supermarket tucked away in dimly lit corridors. Used the place for convenience only few times. Nothing special.

  • Peter Rundle

Looks much brighter since the renovation. Woolworths, Dan Murphy's, Australia Post and a myriad of specialist shops makes this a good local supermarket

  • Ryan White

The shopping centre has Woolworths Dan Murphy's The Reject Shop and Aldi along with assorted other shops and has public toilets and spacious parking

  • Julie Kernick

Not as busy as most other shopping centres. Great to get in and out of Woolies with a few essentials and my go to Post Office to avoid long queues.

  • Rita Giacomelli

Woolies is pretty good at Marden. Kaisercraft is a beautiful shop. RSPCA op-shop is gorgeous. The discount store is messy and cluttered. Not safe.

  • Reggie Foncueva

Great Shopping Centre, Clean modern, A good range of shops in the shopping precinct. Available parking can be tricky at peak hour times. …

  • Kevin James Krahge

Marden shopping centre has had a few refits over the years and it's looking good now not as many specialty shops but that's a sign of the times

  • Benjamin Cornish
