"It could have been so much better than it is"
"An excellent place to get a wide range of organic food, crafts and vegetables"
"I expected a bigger marche"
"Lively market place outdoors for fresh foods and veggies (Saturday morning), large variety of cheeses, bread, meat and oyher local food products inside"
"So for the last three years of my bachelor's degree, I've lived steps away from this Market"
It could have been so much better than it is...at a market you expect local growers selling their produce not a some company from outside the region selling pineapples and kiwis. ..sure in the summer there are local artisans selling their wares. ..but fresh LOCAL fruit and vegetables are hard to come by
An excellent place to get a wide range of organic food, crafts and vegetables. While you are there make sure you walk around the lake which is about 4 km and check out the indoor market for a massive range of meat. The sorbet and gelato at the savo restaurant is phenomenal
I expected a bigger marche. When we arrived it wasn't busy so it kind of looked like it's close. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. Maybe if you live here you could make a regular visit every week. But coming from a big city
Lively market place outdoors for fresh foods and veggies (Saturday morning), large variety of cheeses, bread, meat and oyher local food products inside. Recommend the ice cream store. It is even possible to take away up to 500ml portions.
So for the last three years of my bachelor's degree, I've lived steps away from this Market. I've made it a point to visit on a weekly basis to get some fresh meats and cheeses and the occasional french baguette. Now the issue I've faced
To start, at all times there are 3 stores inside, one specialized in desserts, one in meats and the other in bakery...they all do great service to their customers, you got so much choice in each of them and food is cooked/preped daily in
Great selection of local products. Friendly and helpful customer service. Free parking up to 45 minutes for customers. Only concern is it is a bit cramped inside, so people with limited mobility may have issues BUT at least there are
First thing to note: the location is amazing, just by the river. The atmosphere and view - wonderful. Free parking for under 45minutes, another bonus. We had an Amandine and cheese sticks at the cheese stand. With a coffee sitting on
An absolute MUST for anyone who enjoys good food. You will find an outstanding selection of cheeses, charcuterie, spreads, spices, jams, etc, local products, high quality meats including tartare grade beef & exotic meats
Great cheese, by the lake, and 45 minutes free parking. What more can you ask? It’s one of those places that can look closed when it’s not busy so try the door before turning around! Lots of railway action for train buffs.
A nice place where you get to buy local products ( not only local products but a lot). Prices are bit higher than in a typical supermarket but much fresher. You can find a lot of unique products.
It offers a wide variety of products including charcuterie, meat, drinks, bread and pastries, syrups, amd others. This place has the most diverse selection of cheese and cured meat, that I have
Great place to have a meal; alone, on a date or with the family. Very scenic, rain or shine. Breathtaking view of the lake coupled with a large walking path that leads to a big open park.
The go-to spot for an outstanding butcher and amazing cheese shop. These shops were gems and everything purchased was delicious. Everyone working there was super kind and helpful.
a variety of options are available at this active spot. excellent gelato, drinks, fresh local vegetables, a café. all part of a park with a nice atmosphere.
During the summer farmers sell “fresh from the day” produce at a reasonable price ! Beautiful place to go and spend some time walking around!
It's not big, but worth a visit - quite different from big stores. Also, it is a nice area for a walk, not enough shade, but in pretty views.
Love this place! I always bring out of town family because it's such a beautiful place. Especially, when there's the outdoor markets!
Very picturesque, huge variety of foods including cheeses, meats, and baked goods. The tacos are the best I've ever had.
Not a bad experience. But the people were staring at us a lot. I don't think they see black people often around there.
Nice place to get some local produce and meat. A bit small though. The ice cream place / outdoor bar is also nice.
Beautiful artisan space with local eats. I tried so many good things, it's incredible! I would love to go back!
They have varieties of smoked meat and jambo. If you are looking for something not common to eat go there.
Went to farmers market on weekend. Very disappointed. just a few vegetable vendors.mostly crafts.
Always stop by when we visit sherebrooke great shops and you can take a walk on the river walk
Fresh food market, we arrived late so everything was closing. Arrive before 2pm for best time
A solid place to buy a great variety of fresh sausage, among other things. Highly recommend.
I can't say enough good things about these businesses. Their products check all my boxes;
I love the artesian ice cream and they cheese is so good as they bread like the baguette.
Depending on when you visit, this place can be packed with an eclectic crowd.
Had a delicious croissant there as an afternoon snack …
Nice place for a beer outside and some niche cold cuts!
Great deals, warm people by beautiful lakeside Marche.
Beautiful place but not too many varieties
