Last Friday, I went to Mama Cuisine and invited a friend to join me. Since she had never been there before, she didn't realize that someone was checking bags at the entrance. As she walked towards me, the security guard came and pushed her rudely, insisting on checking her bag. She complied and told him that his behavior was rude. The security guard responded by saying that she shouldn't call a man rude, and since she did, he refused to let her enter. I intervened and told the security guard that it wasn't right for him to assume everyone knows the protocol without prior knowledge of it. I insisted that he let her in. However, instead of resolving the situation, the security guard pushed her again. This made me upset, so I yelled at him. The owner who acted as the manager at the time named Rosita arrived but didn't take any action. She seemed uninterested in dealing with the situation and simply brushed it off before walking away. In an unfortunate turn of events, the security guard then pushed me into some pots, causing bruises on my arm and legs despite me wearing a dress. Filled with anger and frustration, I got up and slapped him in response. Even then, there was no manager present to address the issue. After all this, I waited for the Rosita to reach out, but she never did. So, I decided to call her. Not once did she ask me what happened. Instead, she immediately started making excuses about being busy. She didn't apologize even once. She mentioned that they have cameras and threatened to call the police. I agreed with her because I knew she was lying, and I told her that it's fine if we involve the police and please show them the camera footage. However, she abruptly hung up on me and blocked me. This owner of Mama Cuisine has no understanding of hospitality or communication skills to comprehend both sides of the story. I was never given a chance to tell my side; instead, I was insulted and assaulted while she stood there and did nothing.

Papa Cuisine which is located inside Alliance Francaise is one of the best places I have been so many times. I of course have my favorites and biggest reasons why I travel there to get myself some treats. Even though every waiter there now know what I am eating immediately I get there but what they don’t know is that I am so much with every food I try there. The Coconut Lime Rice is my number one choice with any sauce they have. The chicken coconut curry everyone should try that. They have a reasonable prices and have special prices for the the students at language school there. Think that’s really nice of them to think about the students. The have some simple and lovely flower decorations on a woodin pallets and that is so creative and lovely to see whiles relaxing and drinking or eating there. The waitresses are really nice, friendly and welcoming . For me this is one of the most important thing at any place. The space is spacious and sitting area under a shed with fresh air. Just absolutely love everything about this place. It’s really worth trying. And one thing when I got there one time I realized they are also supporting fresh organic food stuffs because they ordered from an organic farmer whiles I was there to eat. Okay really love this place .
Food 10/10 Service 8/10 Wait Time: under 15 mins Located inside Alliance Française. Moderately large seating area. Has a dancefloor area too. Different seating types from large combined tablea to cane sofas and picnic benches and tall barstools. Details: I ordered Sobolo. It took about 10 mins before the waiter returned and said none was available. I changed my order to a charcoal lemonade and fresh pineapple juice. This came within 5 minutes and was very good. For food, I ordered complete waakye, fried yam and alloco. This was very tasty. The waakye was served nicely on a leaf in a wooden platter with the waakye, gravy, green pepper, spaghetti, egg, gari and salad neatly arranged on it. The alloco and fried yam also came in wooden bowls and it looked good and sumptuous. The yam had a Jenga arrangement to it and was perfect. Crispy on the outside, soft and lush on the inside. I liked my experience there, would definitely recommend Complete Waakye - 30gh Alloco and Fried Yam - 15gh each Chracoal Lemonade and Pineapple Juice - 15gh each

Amazing! Mama cuisine is inside Alliance. Just look to your right after you pass through security. I believe it was formerly Papa’s Cuisine I went on a rainy day and still had a great time. Such a cute cute space. Outdoor garden seating, with wooden furniture and cute artworks. Very cool and relaxing vibe. The prices is reasonable I think. There’s a price point for everyone. The menu has interesting options like the charcoal lemonade and variety for meat eaters and vegans Gosh, the food was amazing. Presentation on point. Decent portions. I woke up happy the next day cos I had left overs. I had the mixed platter for 200gh. Their wagashi is to die for. I’m not a fan of wagashi but they made me one. Their meat was soooooo well seasoned and juicy. The weak link on the platter was the chicken wings; too dry. The fried rice too was average. Everything else was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! My waitress was amazing! The owner (I believe) came to check on us. I was there for hours and really enjoyed there. I’m curious about how it will be at night. Will I go back? Yesss!!! Oh and you can pay via momo.
I will not speak for other people , but just the first time I went there , I fell in love , why ? The place, the staff, the food, what can we ask more?! I was very charmed by the lovely place they have inside the Alliance Francaise d'accra. The place is really charming , well decorated, both contemporary and rustic. It a good mix, the prices for food/drinks are convenient, if we take for account the location/area. I will not talk about the downside because according to me , there might not be, just the trees spreading their leave on the chairs, even that, it's beautiful by an afternoon earing there. The food , especially the combos are a for me. Keep it up and , the waitress Bernice Ofori, was/is kind, I think it's inner her. She should be promoted, her sevring skills are top notch. My experience is a 5/5 for me, hope to have more experience with you guys to appreciate depreciate the new experience. Ce fut un honneur pour moi
Food was overpriced but was worth trying. If I would go there again... I'm not sure. The same food - even better quality - found elsewhere but less pricy. Heck.... I went there again last night. They happened to have a live band. Amazing performance. Had a great night with family members and friends. I CAME TO LEARN THAT I PLACED THE ORDERD WRONG. THAT IS WHY I FELT IT OVERPRICED.

The place is within the Alliance Francaise, where they teach French. It is well secured. Ample parking space. Yard for kids to play. Clean wash rooms.
I love the atmosphere and surroundings, especially the trees and the food there. The hard thing is you’d have to choose from different varieties of delicious meals, so they have Latin and African foods and if you really like the taste of something different and delicious then you should definitely go and try out something. Thank you, Adios ☺️

We loved this place! All outdoor seating, cold beer, and great food. The green chili sauce is to die for. I must have had about 10 tablespoons of that stuff and not one hot spot on my tailpipe the next day. The fish filet was really good. Coconut chicken was spectacular. The staff is super friendly. Don't be afraid when you're looking for it. It's in a bit of a shady neighborhood but the folks around there are friendly and once you enter the compound through the turnstile, you're in a different world. Highly recommended!
We walked here from our hotel (15 minutes) to have a casual business dinner. It’s located in the Alliance Francaise. There’s guarded security and you need to go through metal detector before entering the grounds. Restaurant is laid back, casual and serves delicious local dishes. The area outside is sketchy and not well lit. On my way back to hotel, I was involved in attempted robbery on the main Liberation road. I highly recommend the restaurant but please be cautious if you are walking as some areas are poorly lit.
We had dinner here three times. The garden is beautiful and the staff is absolutely lovely. Food is ok but the quality is not consistent. Quacamole was nice, just as the patatas bravas. The aubergine was really not nice at all and the falafel dish was extremely salty, deep fried and served without bread. Really? Veggie options are limited. The only veggie main dish is spaghetti with tomato sauce…! The vibe at Friday night (dancing night) really felt uncomfortable.
Their signature foods like Attieke and Plantain are great. The basic foods like rice, I wouldn't recommend so much. Love their atmosphere but their proximity to the road means a bit of noise. Ambience during the evening is great.

Super cute. Btw, it’s located inside Alliance Français. If you get confused just talk to the on duty security personnel. It’s really cute, very earthy. The staff is warm too. The food is moderately priced. For entree, main course and a dessert for two, we paid approximately 147 GHC. Of course, you can pick and choose as you please.
Very poor service. Starters came way after the main meal. You are charged a service charge for every item you order. Food is just ordinary for the expensive price. Don’t ease your money there

The customer service is really nice. The waitress was polite and fast. Attended to our request quickily. The food was nicely spiced and my best fried rice ive eaten so far in Accra. Also nice vegetarian options.
The waitress need to do better. Terrible service, I eat only Acheke there cos of it's location to me. Always frowning maybe the owner should pay them better. If I had another choice I won't come there More
Delicious food. Fresh, well seasoned, and nice variety in their menu. Restaurant has a nice vibe and warm decor. Service workers were kind but could be a little quicker.
Deeeelicious fusion food. I had pasta with shrimp and pricing is generous. My friend has grilled tilapia and it was fantastic flavour and grilled to perfection! More
