A Memorable Experience at Malai Thai Restaurant I recently had the pleasure of visiting Malai Thai Restaurant, and I must say, it was an incredible dining experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for a delightful evening. The menu at Malai Thai offered a wide variety of delectable dishes, and we had the opportunity to try some true gems. The Lemon Steamed Fish was a burst of flavors, perfectly balanced with tangy and zesty notes. The Thai Green Curry was an absolute delight, with its rich and aromatic spices that transported us straight to Thailand. The morning glory vegetable was cooked to perfection, retaining its crispness and complementing the main dishes beautifully. The Tom Yam Shrimps left us longing for more, with its bold and tantalizing blend of herbs and spices. And let's not forget the Pandan chicken, which was tender, fragrant, and simply mouthwatering. One of the things that impressed me the most about Malai Thai was the reasonable prices. Despite the exceptional quality of the food, the restaurant offers great value for money, making it accessible to a wide range of diners. It's refreshing to find a place that takes pride in delivering outstanding cuisine without breaking the bank. Equally noteworthy was the service we received. The staff at Malai Thai were incredibly polite, attentive, and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout the meal. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor truly added to the overall experience, making us feel valued and well taken care of. In conclusion, Malai Thai Restaurant exceeded all our expectations. The combination of exceptional food, inviting ambiance, reasonable prices, and top-notch service makes it a standout destination for Thai cuisine. Whether you're a Thai food enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend visiting Malai Thai. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! Note: This review is based on my personal experience and reflects my honest opinion of Malai Thai Restaurant.

Parking was difficult to locate, so we parked by the road side.
Visited in December 2023 during the weekend dinner hour. For those driving, parking is available at the open car park opposite (KL Tower car park). tried the following: 1) Seafood Tom Yam: Slightly spicy with a more milky taste, decent. 2) lemon Steamed fish (Seabass) : The Seabass texture was too soft, and seem not very fresh; the lemon sauce wasn’t to my liking. 3) Pineapple fried rice: Comes with fresh prawns, but the fried rice tasted bland. The above 3 dishes being told are their signature dishes. 4) Stir-fried morning glory: I found this to be the most flavorful among the dishes I had tried. Overall, I don’t perceive this as authentic Thai cuisine. Service-wise, I would like to compliment their attentive and friendly attitude. In a nut shell, the experience leaves me with the impression that there’s still much room for improvement in the taste of the food.

Malai Thai Cuisine is a Thailand restaurant in Malaysia which offers.......... you guessed it, authentic Thailand cuisine. As we enter this establishment, our expectation rose up as we saw that they are a candidate for a Michelin in 2024. And I tell you what, they did not disappoint. They have Spring rolls rolled into a stick sized appetizer you usually get in a French restaurant, Shrimp omelette big enough for 4, Pad Thai (Kwetiaw) , a sublime Shrimp Tom Yum and the desert........... Coconut Ice cream topped with crushed peanut, kolang-kaling and some kind of diced fruit, which I can't figure out what. But belive me, every single dish was delicious.

4/5 for food and service. 2/5 of ambience: due to the happy birthday song being played 7 times during our meal. Location at Jalan puncak on the ground floor. Nice interior with teale as the predominant colour. Nice seating in circular tables. The cocktails were average- had the sabai The food was good- mango salad, the morning glory, the pineapple rice with chicken and the prawns. All above average dishes. The calamari was below average. The desert of ruby ice was good bar the ice cream. The ambience was constantly ruined by the happy birthday song- maybe worse that it was played 7 times during our meal . Will not be returning.

Located next to the iconic KL Tower, this certified Thai Cuisine gem by Thailand's Ministry of Commerce is a true culinary delight. With its expansive two-story space, it offers an elegant dining experience. The interior décor elevates it to fine dining status, yet prices remain surprisingly reasonable, especially for the wine selection. We indulged in a variety of authentic Thai dishes, with the Pik Gai Tod Krateam standing out for its generous portion. The Tod Mun Goong's deep-fried shrimp balls were delightful. While the Pad Thai shined, the Tom Yum and green curry were merely satisfactory. And don't leave without savoring their delectable sticky rice with mango dessert – it's truly exceptional. Plenty of parkings at the opposite open parking space.
Malai Thai shifted to Menara Ample west not long ago. I love the ambiance and theme of the restaurant. It has 2 storey and the window seat is high on demand, so reservation is recommended. I really love the seafood tomyam soup, it's not oily and not too spicy but it's so flavourful! Next visit I would love to try their their other dishes!

Can’t digest that this is Michelin star restaurant . Food doesn’t taste authentic. I feel that the flavors has been adjusted to suit the tourists. During my visit I see many tourists in the restaurant . Very poor lighting too. Not recommended

Ambiance, service and food were all at top level. The price are surprisingly low compare to the food quality and ambiance. Definitely a place to go, hope I will have chance to go back there one day. Special mention to the coconut soup, delicious! The pineapple rice a bit less tasty.
