I called and requested a quote for what it would cost to move a 650 lb gun safe, a large solid wood wine cabinet, a couch, a master king size bed frame with tempur-pedic beds, queen bed with frame, dresser, a large desk, washer and dryer. With the price I was given along with the amount of time the owner said it would take for her crew of 3 to complete it (she quoted 3 1/2 hours from start to finish which would have cost around $750-$800) I felt comfortable going with them. The pick up house was a 2 story home with only the queen bed, desk and couch upstairs. I thought that it could possibly take 4 hours and that was including the drive to the new house which was 30 mins away. The crew arrived for the day at 830 AM. They had a large truck that had a lift on it due to the weight of the safe. After about 20-30 mins of not seeing them, I walked outside to see if they were taking a break. I didn't see them so I walked up stairs and saw that all three of them were in the office. The younger guy was still working but the other two were just sitting around not doing anything and just wasting time!! That's when I noticed that the particle boards that hold the desk together underneath were damaged. The oldest guy on the crew told me that happens all the time when you move particle board. Once I had gotten up to the office, it seemed like the desk was able to be taken apart very quickly after they told me they had been up there trying for 20-30 mins. By the time they were ready to leave to the new house it was around 1145. When I got to the new house, the movers weren't there. Almost an hour went by and they finally arrived. They started to work quick but then slowed down just like before. I was getting very irritated because this was taking much longer than expected. One of the crew guys kept talking on the phone and would walk outside to talk. When they started working on the desk, the same guy walked outside again and sat down and started talking on the phone again!! There was only one guy working on getting the desk back together that's when I was done with them and said don't worry about putting it together I'll do it myself. When it was all done it took them 6 1/2 hours to do the job! The bill ended up being over $1400! After the weekend I called to talk to a manager about my experience and was given the cold shoulder. I was told they would call me back. By Wednesday I had not heard anything and I texted the phone number that the owner had given me. She had no clue what I was talking about and she said she would call me back because she was driving and she never called. I called back again on Thursday and talked to the receptionist explaining everything once again. They said the reason it took so long for the truck to get to the new place was because the truck was full with all 8 of my items and that the truck could only go so fast. I told the receptionist I wanted to speak to a manager or supervisor and she said there is none and there was only the owner. I told her that I was going to write a review online showing how they were handling this. The owner never called me back and just texted me her responses. She stated that they do not reimburse for particle board damage as per the signed agreement from the final bill. I asked her to send me a copy of it and still to this day I have not received it. I told her how it went from a 3 1/2 hr job to 6 1/2 hr job and that a crew of that size packed my WHOLE HOUSE IN HAWAII in a little over the amount of time her crew took!!! She finally just told me they were sending out a check for the damages and that was the last I heard from her. The check was for $60. I would strongly recommend using another moving company. The owner does not communicate with the customer if there is an issue and all they care about is milking the time to make money. Seeing her responses from other negative reviews, she will most likely say that this is fake or that I was never one of their customers. STAY AWAY FROM MAGNUM MOVERS!!!

I really wanted to give Magnum Movers a great review, but I cannot. I used MM for two moves, one into storage and one into my new apartment. My only complaint with the first move was that I was initially over charged for packing supplies, but that was remedied. Everything else was great. My next move was horrible. I was scheduled to have my belongings moved out of storage at 5pm. The movers didn't show up until 8:15pm...the storage unit closed at 9pm. I was, naively assured by D'ann, the owner, that the movers would be able to move everything in 45 minutes. Of course, this did not happen and we were locked in the storage unit, making what should have been a 2 1/2 hour move into practically a 6 hour move. At 86.00/hr...you can see the problem. I asked D'ann for compensation due to her error, but that was never remedied. Next came the real horror tale: The movers damaged my son's oak chester drawer by dropping and or scrapping the drawers; my lamp was broken; and my china cabinet's glass shelf was broken. One mover put my son's bed together with NO tools and of course the bed fell apart. He said that he would come the next day to properly install it, and he never did, even after I called him to confirm. The movers alerted D'ann of all of these problems and took pictures, assuring me that she would take care of them. TWO weeks and many calls and texts to D'ann, she finally had a carpenter come out to fix my chester drawer. But my lamp and glass shelf had to be repaired on my own. I grew very frustrated because there was zero follow-through. If I had waited on D'ann...none of my things would have been repaired. I felt that I had to "track" her down and even then she never kept appointments or called to check on the situation. I was extremely disappointed. Customer service and customer satisfaction should be their number one goal and they failed with me. It is with great sadness that I cannot recommend Magnum. I truly wanted to give this woman owned business a solid chance.

They were friendly and responsive, but I feel like they were due to the money they would make. I’m active duty and was quoted a 230.00 for minimum of two hours. I was given the impression it would only take two hours, as I have a one bedroom incomplete apartment. I did not have a kitchen or living room set. No kitchen items were packed at all, as I’m taking those with me to my next destination. The movers moved an incomplete one bedroom. Which included one 42 inch tv, washer and dryer, small futon, four gorilla trunks, prepackaged boxes. I had everything separated and packed. The only things needing assistance was disconnection of washer from water line, disassemble bed frame, and mirror from dresser. Disconnect 42 inch tv from stand it was connected too. The movers start time was 0900 and for the life of me I can’t understand why it lasted until 2:00 p.m. I was charged $622.00 to move a incomplete one bedroom apartment, to a storage facility nine minutes away. Literally nine minutes from my apartment to a storage facility with afternoon traffic. I went with this company as I read good reviews. Upon my complete move I’m very disappointed with the over charge of materials, and service provided. This is highway robbery! I asked the owner if the $622.00 price was normal. I was told yes, and most of it due to the time it took to walk from my apartment to the truck. Even with the time spent walking to the truck, I did not have enough items to fill up 1/2 of their moving truck. Also my storage unit is not completely filled. I recommend shopping around prior to being over charged for a moving. If you’re like me a incomplete one bedroom. I wish I would have waited, or extended my apartment lease and asked for help from my wingman on the weekend. This is not right, and should not be acceptable. I don’t know what can be done but I’m going to look into it.

I decided to use a moving company for the first time after having always moved myself for several cross country moves, and called around warily because I had heard so many horror stories over the years. Magnum Movers got back to me quickly, offered the lowest no nonsense quote, and was available on the date I needed. I only needed to move a small apartment two miles and I was getting outrageous quotes everywhere else. The movers showed up a few hours later than the scheduled time (through no fault of their own) but kept me updated, were apologetic, and got to work quickly once they arrived. Drew and Chris were professional and efficient, protective of my furniture, came with all necessary supplies and equipment, and provided some much needed comic relief during a stressful evening. They set up my things as asked without hesitation, kept me laughing, and graciously tolerated the fact that I got lost on the way to my new apartment. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with these gentlemen and will not only use Magnum Movers in the future, but will specifically request Drew and Chris. Thanks so much, guys!

I moved to San Antonio a few years back and my movers that were supposed to unload my 24 foot mover canceled on me the night before. I scrambled and ended up calling Magnum Movers last minute to get me truck unloaded. It was a Saturday and I started my new job on Monday. I couldn’t wait. Magnum Movers was there for me when my other movers canceled on me. I originally asked for three people because I had three movers load me up and it took them 5 hours! Magnum movers sent two and unloaded it completely packed in two hours. These guys didn’t break or slow down. They sent me Chris and another guy. 2 years later I had them move me out of my two bedroom with my ex and into a one bedroom. They sent me Chris and Andrew (Drew) and they did it 2 hours again! They are awesome! Today I had them move me out of my one bedroom into a house and they send me Chris and Drew again. And for the 3rd time they didn’t fail. They moved me within two hours! They are awesome and funny and hard working guys! If I move again, I’m requesting then again! I highly recommend!

As everyone knows moving is very difficult, I called many different moving companies and i got to the point where i i didn't want to deal with any moving company.When i called magnum mover and spoke with Deanna the owner of the company she gave me all the quotes and pricing but i was so frustrated to the point that I didn't want to hear anything and hung up on her . Then she called me back and could relate to the frustration I was feeling , she gave me valuable information about moving companies and gave me a better deal then all the other companies. she was very kind understanding and gave me lots of helpful tips. We have moved countless times and every time we have moved it has been very stressful but this time since we had Magnum movers help us it was stressfree they were very professional, courteous careful with all of our items. Jessie and Eugene were our movers they worked quickly to get the job done they were very respectful to me and my husband. Next time we move we will definitely use to magnum movers.

I do not recommend. A few weeks before we moved I called and said it should take 2 hours because I only needed them to move our large items. King bed, twin bed, washer, dryer, 3 couches and refrigerator. First, they said it would be between 2-4pm and they got there about and hour and a half after that. The one guy kept complaining the whole time, smelled like alcohol, and said they wouldn’t be able to take apart the twin size bed (my husband had to do it) 2 1/2 hours later (I only moved about 8 minutes away) they’re barely coming to my new home. They messed up the walls of our NEW home said they would come back to fix it a few days later. He came and did a little something and said he would come back a couple days later to touch it up and paint when everything dried. It’s been more than two weeks! I do not recommend. That was suppose to be the easiest part of my move and it was the most stressful. Never again. Oh and they did not put the twin size bed back together or connect my washer and drier.

This company really pulled through for us after my disabled MIL had issues with her initial movers not showing up on the last day of her lease, which caused us seeking a last minute move! With short notice, they still agreed, arrived and moved her out completely before the end of the night. I'm sure the men were tired as it was such a very late move and they had previous jobs before hers but they didn't let down not once. They worked great as a team and were very efficient! I appreciate the two gentlemen for being communicative and lightening the situation/frustrated feeling we felt initially (due to the issues with the previous company).. They didn't skip a beat and did it with no complaints! Although price was a little steep it was understandable as it was such short notice. We are grateful for the reliability this company provided and the assurance the woman gave us that they would not let us down. They sure didn't! So thank you!! We'll definitely be recommending y'all!

I highly recommend Magnum Movers. Chris, Sam, and Eugene did a great job moving all our furniture to our new house. They arrived at 8:30 pm and after already working a long day, they were still moving quickly and energetically. They knew we were tired and simply wanted to move after All Pro Moving stood us up for our moving appointment earlier in the day. They were courteous and caring towards us by telling us they would move our furniture quickly so we could get our kids to bed in our new house. At no time did we request for them to go quickly, instead they expressed their desire to move us quickly after we told them how we waited all day for the other moving company and luckily Magnum Movers came in to save the day. Not only did they do a great job moving us to our new house quickly, they provided superior customer service. Ray came out to the house and gave us an estimate based on 3 men at 8 hours. Other movers wouldn't come out, so we felt his estimate would be more accurate. On moving day, the crew showed up with a 28' truck with liftgate. Other movers planned to use a 26' truck, which would have required 2 loads. They worked quickly, carefully and very professionally, and loaded a several pieces in the order we needed to make the furniture placement work at the new location. At the delivery end, they had to take it up an elevator to the 3rd floor, then about 150' down a hallway. They placed the furniture exactly where we wanted it, and reset it a second time in some cases. Again, their professionalism was flawless, and they did the complete load without one iota of damage. To our amazement, they completed the job in only 6 hours, thereby saving us $450! We highly recommend Mangum Movers to anyone needing a flawless move. In our book, they rate more than 5 stars!

They chose to move me on labor day. When they came to my house we had additional boxes that need to be added. So instead of sending extra help from the beginning they waited till the job was half way done to bring a 3rd guy so the job took twice as long and I got charged twice as much. $1900 total. It should not take 14 hours to move. Funny thing is they are a military family and I'm a disabled vet and I still got treated this way. If your military I suggest you look elsewhere else so you don't get ripped off like I did. The one thing I can say nice about the company is her workers are great at their job but the owners are all about your money. Seriously, how do they think that it will take 2 guys to move a family of 6, 2 story house in their estimated 5 hours, lol. If you look at the bad reviews its pretty much the same, time not estimated even close so then customers end up paying more. I honestly though they would treat us right.

Magnum Movers are life savers! We tried to move a 3 bedroom home on our own and we quickly realized that was the wrong decision. I called Magnum Moves on a Monday at 5pm (move day) and spoke with the owner Deann. I knew it was a long shot to get someone to show up the same day. I'm sure she could hear how freaked out and stressed I was by my voice. She calmed me down and told me not to worry AND that she could be here to help in two hours! They were professional, very careful with all my things and made sure nothing was damaged. Showing up after a move they just finished, they were still very attention to detail. They really know the moving business. I am so grateful for these movers. There were worth every single penny and very reasonably priced. I will be recommending Magnum Movers to everyone. Thank you Magnum Movers for helping us move into our dream home on extremely short notice. You guys are the best!

I’ve used the magnum movers team at least 6 times in the past 5 years and they’ve made every move incredibly fast and easy for me no matter how complex I thought it was. Chris is exceptional, as is the rest of the team. They’ve always taken great care with my possessions and ensured everything was done correctly and in a timely manner. When putting some things into storage Chris offered advice on the best way to place furniture for maximum space, and ensured I left the door open to a washing machine I was storing to prevent possible mildew so my things would stay clean and safe (this may seem small but I had no idea that could happen and wasn’t even thinking about something like that). The team is great as well as the owner who is always friendly and helpful as well. Always a good experience.

When I called for a quote, Deann beat any price I had been quoted for. I'm more of a "got to read their reviews" kind of guy, and I was very impressed. So when I decided to go with them. And let me tell you, I was not let down. Her guys worked fast and time efficient, being careful with my furniture, and had a game plan when they arrived. I can go on and on and on, but instead I recommend that anyone looking for a moving company, magnum movers is a no brainier, and you will see for yourself how great they are. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I scheduled the movers to come at 3-4 pm. They took over an hour just to respond back saying that they would be 30 minutes late and that was ok. Then 3 hours later said they were still assisting others! They ended up not even showing up and guaranteed that they would come the next day at 2:30 pm. We called them at 2:30 pm the next day and they did not answer. I am very upset because not only did they take up our entire time, the owner failed to communicate with her employees as well as her customers. The owner has not even responded to my mother in laws voicemail and not even a call back to apologize! Don’t even bother scheduling with this company. They will waste your time!

We were very impressed with Magnum Movers. We were moving my father to a senior living community. I appreciated the responsiveness of the owner when calling for the quote and providing the estimate. The personal evaluation provided a more accurate and cheaper estimate than the online forms other companies had you complete. The movers were very respectful and polite. They were particularly patient with my father and his requests, especially as he lost his hearing aids and would constantly ask for them to repeat themselves. He has a lot of art that they packed and moved with careful attention. The team worked hard and quickly and efficiently completed the job. I would definitely use them again.

Since this was my first long distance move, I did my due diligence to get many different quotes. Magnum was by far the cheapest. They also had great customer service. The one hiccup, which can only be expected during such a major move, was brilliantly handled by the staff. I am moving again in 6-8 months once my house is built & I will definitely be giving them my business. What would've been a day or maybe two for my friends & I to move my belongings, the Magnum professional movers did it in just a few hours. They saved me time, money (up against their competition), & from about a week of back pain. I would highly recommend them to anyone for a job of any size.

Extremely professional moving service, I was very nervous as this was my first time hiring a moving service, and they took my ease away. I could tell from the moment I met the guys, they would treat my property like their own and they did. Everything was handled with care in an efficient manner. They were very polite, asked a lot of questions on how I would like my expensive furniture items handled and placed into my new space, and I never felt uncomfortable having them in my home. You can tell this is a woman owned moving company because she only hires men that don’t make you feel uncomfortable having in your home. Overall, such a great experience!

Deann is a woman of her word!! Called her on a Thursday @ 6pm in a panic for a fast move request and in less than 24hrs her 3 man team had arrived and FINISHED our 3,100 sq. ft move in 10hrs. Magnum Movers ! Im absolutely satisfied with the move with Magnum Movers, I live on the second floor in a three story apartment and when I had the previous movers move me in the scratched up all my bedroom set. They didnt wrap it in furniture wrap nor did they use blankets to protect my mattresses. Magnum movers use all the RIGHT equipment to keep your furniture safe and clean i really appreciated the fact that they took ther time wrapping my furnitire and making sure it got from point A to point B safe. I recently did a short distance move with Magnum Movers. I felt comfortable with my decision from the start until the end when I waved them goodbye. Trini and Drew were awesome and kind. They made me feel comfortable and kept me laughing the whole time. I loved that I was able to text with DeAnn to set up the move and she answered all my questions. I was a little nervous as this was my first time hiring movers and I live alone, but those nerves left as soon as they introduced themselves. Used this company a little over a year ago. Guys who moved me were fabulous. Also had good experience with the owner. Reason I am giving 3 stars is because I had the owners husband mount my tv’s- he mounted the one in living room and seconds later it came crashing down. Tv broke and left holes and scratches in wall. I had to buy another tv. He said he’d purchase the mounts and wouldn’t charge for labor for that. Also said he’d fix the wall. He did come back to remount but never fixed the walls. So I was out buying another tv and also paying someone else fix the drywall.

Definitely recommend these movers! Deann was incredibly patient and accommodating after a very stressful morning in which I was unable to locate the necessary truck equipment. She worked with me on moving the time to accommodate the hold up. The movers she sent (Chris and Al) were professional and respectful. The truck was packed in the time needed and everything was safely loaded. I recommend these movers! Professional, kind, and understood that moving is stressful and did everything they could to make it less stressful for me and my husband. Thank you very much!!

Everything went well from the start. We were so pleased with how pleasant DeAnn was and made us feel (especially after speaking with a couple of other companies.) Andrew and Chris arrived and were very enthusiastic and helpful. They were very professional and courteous and made us feel at ease immediately. We knew we had hired the right movers! They were very careful and gentle with our furniture. We really enjoyed talking with them and getting to know them. We would hire them again and strongly recommend Magnum Movers!

I would not recommend this come company! Besides having below standards customer service, the owner seemed more worried about the dollar signs then about moving furniture. Plus, had no problem expressing their negative opinions. For being a "professional" company that is an understatement. The movers worked really hard but their packing skills were at elementary level so was the owners attitude. Worst part, items that were told to us that would be donated were found on Offer Up. Very, very unethical and business-like!

I really appreciate their flexibility. They allowed us to postpone our move after my son kept us up all night from being sick. We moved long distance about 5 hours away. We asked them to be there at 10am, but they didn’t come until 11:30am. Usually this wouldn’t be a problem for us, but since the location was so far away, they didn’t finish moving everything into our new home until 3am. They also broke our glass tabletop connection to its metal base. Other than that the 2 movers were great and very professional.

My move with Magnum Movers was an amazingly positive experience. My team, Andrew, Chris, & Al were professional, polite, and incredibly quick. They made sure everything was perfectly packed, wrapped, secured, etc., and they didn’t stop until the job was done! My new home is also quite a bit smaller and the team was amazing at helping me figure out the best placement for larger pieces of furniture. Deann (owner) made sure everything was taken care of from start to finish and I highly recommend this company.

My first big move couldn't have gone smoother. Here's the type of service you'll get from Deann: She heard me mention that I was going to have Goodwill pick up some furniture I didn't want during the estimate. So, knowing I wouldn't be able to schedule in time, she showed up with a full crew before the main move to get rid of it for me. It was a huge headache averted. She did about four or five other similar things, all for a reasonable price. Wish I could give her six stars.

These guys are The best. They handeled all my Stuff with care. They were fast And profesional. Jesse And David are excellent And profesional. They were on time, called before arriving And did a walk through before they started. They made my move stress free. Mrs.Lopez And Her movers treat you like family, while providing top Knotch service. I highly recomend them. I was Also able to donate my Canned goods to The food bank with Their move for húnger program.

What more would I want? I am contented and fully satisfied with Magnum movers. I am not looking for another moving company next time I am moving. I will yet again hire out their wonderful and amazing crew. They did it big when I hired them out last time and I am confident that they will do it yet again when an opportunity presents itself. The owner Deann was amazing and professional and was so patient to please me throu my entire moving experience.

Andrew and Chris were our movers and they were fun and very respectful. They were coordinated and did everything they could to protect our items. It was truly a blessing to have them help us move into our home and we would recommend them to anyone. Simply the best! I needed assistance moving last minute and the weekend of the gas shortage. I spoke with Deann on Saturday night at 11pm and she set it up to have a couple of guys help unload me the following morning. The men who helped were professional, kind, and quick! When I was researching online I contacted multiple movers and Magnum was the cheapest and had the best customer service. I'll definitely be using them again. Thank you guys!

We called looking for movers last minute, and they were quick to accommodate. The guys who helped us were personable, professional, and quick. Their prices are affordable. The owner assured us of her team’s professionalism. She was right. They were able to move us and help us re-decorate our new home as well, lol. 100% best movers we’ve ever had in my opinion, my mother in law, and husbands!! They were polite, friendly, positive and efficient. Took 3 1/2 hours to move our ENTIRE house fitting everything in ONE load. I definitely thought we would have to make at least two trips but they did it in one with all furniture and boxes safe- nothing broken. Another huge plus- 8 months pregnant and didn’t stress about a thing! Chris and Andrew were excellent.

Plans changed and we needed to move up our moving date. Called Magnum Movers and they were able to accommodate the change without hesitation. The 2 movers were prompt, courteous, professional and took care to make sure the more delicate items we had were handled with caution and care. Just got done moving into my new apartments and the move was super easy a d the guys who moved my stuff were super funny and fast movers. Took care of my stuff as if it were their own at no extra cost . i have never dealt with movers before and sure glad i did this time around . no extra hidden fees or b.s. and they were very communicative on when they were arriving and were super fast and easy . thanks so much for making my move in great.

Mangnum movers are awesome. They moved my 1 bed apartment from 1st floor to 3 rd floor in another community. I took their minimum package of 2 hrs but guys Jessi and Nick finished in 1.5 hrs only They are very honest and professional. The owner DeAnn is very nice and offered the comparative rates. I came to know that she is the only woman who owns the moving company in San Antonio. I will definitely recommended this moving company

Al & Albert did great moving my things today! Moving is always so stressful that this time around I decided to use a moving company. I got a quote from a different company before Magnum Movers and their prices were a lot more. I was able to get two rooms moved quick and easy with the help of Al & Albert. They disassembled and assembled my bed and errr careful with scutching. Very grateful for their hard work. Thank y’all so much!

The people that were performing the move were all professional, worked efficiently, and showed great care with my equipment during the move. They worked as a team. I was impressed by the manner they approached and conducted my move. I had another company look at the move and when they saw what needed to be moved, they got in their truck and said they can't do the move and drove away. I highly recommend them for your next move.

Magnum Movers was the best moving company I ever hired. Very professional, on tome, and efficient. They also have an IT person on staff that can connect all your TVs and computer equipment. I highly recommend them. I have used other moving companies that are late, under staffed, and not experienced. If you want your belongings moved safely and your Tv's / computers connected this is the company to call.

Amazing service! Hired Magnum movers for my move from an apartment to new home. First time hiring a moving company and was not sure who to use. Decided to choose magnum movers based off reviews and pricing. Best decision I made! Movers made the process so smooth and were so nice. Made me feel comfortable and were very funny plus easy to talk to. Will definitely be recommending to anyone I know.

These guys saved me! They were able to arrive at 11:30pm and spent 2.5 hours into the early morning to move me out on the fly. My movers, David and Jesse were courteous and professional, but most importantly they were kind and understanding to my situation. They charged per hour and took longer than expected. Then the owner calls me and tells me the driver is charging me wrong and wanted to add $375 on top of a 5 hour move that was a 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor. On top of that i broke everything down and had it stacked and ready to go. The owner didnt get the $375 and i will never hire them again!!

I would NOT recommend this company at all. We agreed to a time and they showed up 4 hrs late and took 6hrs to move a unit. I asked for commendation for them showing up so late and they offered $50 dollars a $850 service. They put my family is distress and didn't care at all. The movers themselves were great, the owner Deann was horrible.
