Previously posted a great review. Recently had an eye opening experience. Shoppers beware. When buying chicken, they weigh it whole and charge you for that. You then have it cut up for curry. As it happened in my case, I get home and while washing the chicken I noticed only one wing. The chicken I paid for had two. What other parts went missing? Not a good way to do business! If you don't want to get ripped off, have them weigh it after cutting. Very disappointing!

Ive been on a six week hunt looking for Betapac Curry..NO other West Indian store had any...i just bought 4 packs from here...store is clean and well stocked also...will consider here my "go to" place moving forward....customer service is top notch...owners were very sweet..very nice! I highly recommend this supermarket...its tucked away around the corner just keep your eyes open.

This store has all the things I love from back home, when I bring home groceries from here everything is gone the next day. A great variety of foods, meats, spices, drinks, fresh fruits and sweets, it is very well kept and always great tunes. Shameena is very helpful with recommendations as well as the owner and all employees can carry good conversation. Recommend to all!

I am a regular customer there. I do love my Guyana vegetables and fish, so I always try to get it early before it's sold out. Staff are certainly friendly and helpful and that goes for the owner as well. I had an issue once with a whole chicken, I called him and it was quickly resolved for an exchange. Overall, services are good, but products are pricey.

Been coming here for over 10 years, love the food it provides. The prices online are MUCH cheaper than in store. Keeping in mind the website is horrendous. Paid around $8- $10 more because "the website wasn't updated". Sorry but this should be honored or changed. Pretty sure when you order online they give you the most stale chicken or duck.

Great shopping experience.Came all the way from Ottawa and shopped here.Great service.While that was great I’m sad to say that the very expensive fish I bought,was stale and rank and some were even rotten.Too bad because the service was great…sell fresher fish…hassa,bangamary …and I will shop there again.

Like the option of not having to go to the West but man the owner is not reliable. Sundays better call before you come and even at that they don't answer the phone. Just wished they were more reliable as sometimes I drive down just to find they are out of what I wanted. In general, not bad

I recently purchased some thyme from this store and was shocked to know the price of a little bag is $4. As for the weri-weri pepper I was charged $23 for 1 pound. That is ridiculous. I may have to find another store to shop at as I have been shopping here for over 15 years.

I love their fresh bread!!! There are lots of savory items up by the cash register. Your one stop shop for all grocery items, spices, meat and fish!!! Staff are very kind and helpful. They go out of their way to find things for you. Highly recommend.

U guys need to fix your closing time. And not close before u say u will. Example was there today at 7pm. And u where already closed and online time said 7:30pm. Smh. Bad customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That waste of people time driving there!!!!!!

Best West Indian store hands down, always have fresh fish and meat and their customer service is amazing. The people are friendly and feels like home when your here. Been coming here since I can remember. Great place overall

Located at wrong place. Inventory control is terrible. Have meat options, but I'm not sure about maintenance, so avoided it. But still found some exotic vegetables which can't find at Walmart or FreshCo

Typical caribbean grocery store that has been around for many years. Usually have everything u need for a caribbean household and to get those special ingredients for the holiday celebrations

No space between isles, difficult to walk around. Some produce are rotten and still on the shelves. Prices on canned goods are stuck on the Best Before Date. A young employee is very rude.

There had gilbaker pre cut and pre package with price on special $6.50 per pound. Spoilt and rotten. Wasted money $17.00. They should not sell spoiled fish. I won’t go back.

I believe the owner for this store changed. They are much more friendly and welcoming. They don’t over charge like other West Indian stores. I recommend this location!

Owners always leave the cardboard and garbage out all week until it blows across or down the street. Lazy and ignorant. Sick of seeing and cleaning up their junk.

I am very disappointed. I bought meat a few times at this store. And the quality of meat has been poor. Both the chicken and duck has a rancid taste....

Family owned supermarket with quality Caribbean and African goods that are hard to find at other local shops. The owners are friendly and helpful.

I'm a guyanese so we shop for certain spices,fish and meat at the west indian store. It's a great store,most product is from the Caribbean.

Good service, lots of products. They have a variety of West Indian products. Fresh ducks and lots of fishes. Also, baked goods.

My place for my West Indian produce and snacks, guava jelly/jam, curry powder mixes, achar, gilbaca fish, etc.

They have great African black soap, and great prices on the black eyed peas. Definitely will be coming back
