I'm so glad the encampment is finally gone. I feel sad for homeless folks, but that was one of the worst spots someone could choose to camp, and they were piling up massive amounts of trash, which was a blight upon our beautiful city at one of the main entrances to the downtown area. Let's keep cleaning up Portland and see if we can get it back to being safe and lovely! Maybe the deer statue can even come back to the park soon!

I like to walk here from the office during lunch. There are many benches to choose from and even though it's usually busy (when the weather is nice) I have always found a bench seat. Midday, the majority of the other park visitors appear to be working individuals who are also taking breaks. There are many sidewalks here and it's nice to walk through.

Amazing adventure! Kind of a mix between Escape from New York and the Omega Man. All public art is either vandalized, destroyed, or has been removed. Private businesses and public buildings are boarded up, and there is a nightly fireworks show.

  • Blake Harris

Beautiful quiet park in Downtown Portland. Excellent landscaping. By far the hidden gem of this park is the public restrooms. They were actually amazing. Definitely worth taking your next potty break here.

  • Shiloh Romero

The park is beautiful and has an ample amount of seating. Unfortunately it is riddled with homeless people. I would more attribute this to Portland's high living cost but know what you're coming to.

  • Logan Unterberg

Too many people sleeping on benches, and a lot of litter. I found a used needle in the unclean park restroom. There are many other parks in Portland with a much nicer atmosphere.

  • Daniel Garcilazo

Cute little park kids can play. There is also a men's restroom that was DISGUSTING! DO NOT USE... Also there was a creep that just kept staring at my kids enough that we left..

  • Jane Lapointe

Lovely park for eating lunch. Minus one star because there are no trash barrels. But then, that's true in Portland in general.

the plumbing works well enuf ²flush the toilets but not to stop pyromaniac(s) from torching roll of ️ :( …

No rain today in downtown Portland! The park is starting to recover from the abuse that it took two years ago. You’ll ❤️ it.

This is what you see first when you get out of downtown Multnomah county. Nice place to smoke a cig while waiting for a ride

  • Tyler Wilson

In downtown. So expect what other things come with that. Otherwise, an acceptable place to hang if you need to kill time.

  • Manuel Garcia

Sorta desolate now the life is gone. Stick around long enough I am sure you will figure out why.

  • Macadeama Kodias Twistedbuffalo's Corner of Stuff

Every time I come downtown I let my dog climb his trees. We used to live downtown, g homeless.

  • Michael Hampton

Clean, well taken care of park downtown. The water ⛲ is broken but the public toilet works.

  • Brian Newman

Nice park downtown with lots off benches. Popular lunch spot for the local office workers.

  • Peter Grotticelli

A great place to OCCUPY! We could have huts and gardens - an indigenous American village.

  • April Anderson

They destroyed my favorite spot I go there so there's no point in going there anymore

  • Teresa Koon

Nice area. Just be aware of the homeless who lay on the grass and sit on the benches

  • Bearly Noticeable

Right downtown. Good homeless camp. They provide food and necessities. Good people

  • Patricia Shelton

It doesn't look like this anymore. So sad. Let's put it back better than before.

  • Peter Pretzington

Great place but the building across the street's got weird vibes

公園はとてもきれいで良いんだが、とにかくホームレスが多くて、安心してくつろげない。ポートランドは随分ホームレスが増えたね〜。
