First impression wasn't the greatest. The place was completely devoid of customers and the staff had the chairs on top of the tables and were sweeping and wiping trays down so I thought they were closed. Red flag#1 However, the open sign was turned on and it was within the posted operating hours so I went in, time was roughly 8:30pm give or take 10 minutes. (Mistake#1) As soon as I stepped in, there was a very weird vibe. The gentleman asked if I was ready and I informed him I needed a minute as we had never been here before and am visiting from out of town. After looking through the menu, I inform the gentleman that I am ready to place an order. The gentleman let's out an audible sigh as though I, his only visible customer in the store, was somehow inconveniencing him. Red flag#2 I pay the $19.48 including tax for the 8pc family combo and get my change and in walks an UberEATS driver. The two gentleman clearly recognize each other and exchange friendly greetings. Okay, so I guess the guy working the counter is friendly, just not to customers. Noted. After receiving my order, the gentleman at the counter asks if I would be interested in ketchup, I answer in the affirmative and enquire if they have hot sauce available. The gentleman nods, mutters something under his breath that sounded like "yeah we have a few..." Okay, got the chicken, head back to the hotel. Get to my room, and lo an behold the coleslaw, only filled 3/4 of the way and the french fries, only 2/3 of the tray. I guess next time I have to ask for extra large sides instead. The combo only comes with large. So now how was the food? Let's start with the chicken: it was good, not super fresh but warm and crispy which was already more than I could hope for given the first impression with the place. The coleslaw was bitter, like nasty bitter aftertaste so I think their carrots are unwashed or something. Are they not tasting their own food before they serve it to customers? Awful!!! Yeah, I guess that's a good thing he shorted me on the coleslaw. It sucked. The french fries were okay, soggy but flavorful. Overall this place is a 6 out 10. They clearly lack in customer service and can't really make side dishes worth buying but the chicken is alright. No, I won't be back. They've lost me as a customer next time I am in town. YMMV

The party I was with each wanted different options and opted for ordering individual meals. Based on what we each had most were satisfied. One person ordered a Chicken strip & Shrimp salad unfortunately, she was disappointed because it wasn't as pictured and I can understand how that expectation can throw off an experience. Overall my order was good, cooked to order so there was a wait. Nothing extraordinary. It was good however the drink fountain needed to be cleaned or replaced.

This is a restaurant that I go to maybe once or twice a month, normally I have a pretty decent experience but I had to come on here and I had to come on here and change my review to a one-star because I had a coupon for a free two piece chicken if I put a review up, I asked if I could use the coupon before I put up a good review, they told me I can use it and then the owner or manager I'm not sure who he is his name is a Assad he began to argue with me and told me I could not use the coupon because he's never seen me before, and I don't know what that has to do with me using a coupon that printed on the receipt that I had just purchased but long story short I will not be going here any longer because I don't like the disrespect that he showed me I will drive an extra five to 10 minutes to go to the next closest one

I'm relatively new at trying this plc n I was plesantly surprised by the food from this, tasty n seasoned just right! n most important of all it was still hot by the time it was delivered to me, n the presantation on par! I tried calling to give them a commendation but of course the fella who said he was the manager couldnt understand a lick of what I was talking about by commendation!! hense why I thought i t'd best to just write what I was going to tell him, besides that the food's on par! I was a bit Leary initially since it's right there in the neighbourhood. I did wonder if it'd be any good, n I was pleasantly surprised! the fish n chicken combo is my go to! I'll branch out to something different soon, to see, pls dont change what you all are doing!☺️

Very clean location! By far the cleanest fried chicken location Ive seen. Staff was attentive and friendly, waiting at the cash register as I walked in with a smile. Food came out hot and fast. The taste of the food, on par with the Louisiana Fried Chicken brand. Its not over salty or spicy. You want more . . .add it. If you're looking for good fried chicken or some good side dishes, give this place a try.

Pretty delicious! I got the fish (catfish) and shrimp combo with red beans and rice, a small dinner roll and a mango slush. The seafood was fried to perfection, the red beans and rice is their own take of it and it's really good too. I know now for my future purchases to get extra bread, it's soft and sweet. It's always a great meal I've been eating from here for years and have tried majority of the menu my favorite are the gumbo, chicken, and fish it's all fried to perfection. I never felt the need to go to one specific location for fried chicken but this place is it for me. The chicken is juicy, tasty, and big. The service is superb. The man name Asad always greet you as soon as you come in and goes out of his way to get the chicken to you. He even ran out to give an elderly woman her chicken rather than making her go inside. You will not be disappointed. Just look at all the other reviews and you’ll see.

Cajun salad very good. I tired the combination salad. It had chicken and shrimp mixed with it. it was very tasty. The place is always neat and clean.so quite as well with variety of decent music. Today I came here just for the shrimp jambalaya. It is very tasty and spicy just how I like it. I told the cook to add more spice. Also next week there adding hot, mango, and bbq wings to there menu. Horrible customer service was not greeted when I walked into the door the cashier that was working at the moment wouldn't say anything to me so I kept speaking to her and and asking her excuse me are you supposed to be the one who's helping me. She just ignored me and looked at with an attitude once she finally did come to me she had a smirk on her face and laugh and said what did you say. I left offended and disgusted.

The location has posters up with certain a deals such as the two piece special on Tuesdays. I asked for it and the manager said they don't do it anymore. Then I pointed to the deal with the 10 piece for 8.99, again he said we don't do that deal anymore. Why would you still have the posters up if you don't do the deal??? Also it seems they do not have a lot of workers, just one cook and the manager. So wait can be long.

The chicken was dry and taste like rubber, also 3 or 4 day old grease. I called about it and got hung up on. Called 3x more no answer. The chicken was ( Burnt) and dried out. I was told because it was delivery that's the only reason why my chicken wasn't fresh. Never again.

I’ve seen this place all over town and have never tried it until today. I did the 3-piece dark with dirty rice. This is place is delicious. The chicken was very hot, crispy and flavorful. The chicken is also slightly spicy and has a nice little kick to it. The dirty rice was not bad either. Great portion size for the price. Highly recommended if you like fried chicken and I will be returning.

I used to buy Halal fried chicken from their other branch in south Gessner , I was driving by and found this location, first thing to notice was non of them wear gloves... I ordered a family combo 8 pieces ( 2 breast , 2 legs, 2 wings and 2 thighs), I got 4 thighs instead of 2 breasts and 2 thighs, missing dinner rolls, it was my first and last time, not recommending this location.

Terrible place that’s very judgmental. The Spanish girl cashier kept speaking to me in Spanish (I’m Armenian) with utter disregard that she basically sold me something that I did not order or want. The guy who works at the dairy Ashford location is very rude, the food is not fresh at all, he threw ketchup packets at my little brother, he has very bad customer service go to a different location the food here was also very dry and when I asked him to fix it he yelled “Noooooo” it is fresh,

OMG!!! I had Catfish, Chicken, and Coleslaw. All of were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! I received 2 pieces of fish, 2 pieces of chicken and a huge cup of delicious Coleslaw, for about $8.00. I was Very Satisfied. The Jambalaya was great, as well.

It was my husband's birthday and he love lousiana fried chicken. So we decided to go to this branch, (God knows why), but they gave us refried chicken and chips. Coleslaw was off. So i don't know why they do such cheap things to earn money.

We ordered Fried chicken, red beans and rice. The food was tasty. The chicken was crispy and thoroughly cooked. The quantity was good enough for the two of us. The price is the cheapest. There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant.

Manager had me wait 15 minutes for a breast that was just refried not fresh. Way too salty also.

This is a neighborhood favorite for my family. Chicken is always crispy and not over cooked. Owner always shows his appreciation for our business by making sure I get good, quality wings and legs. Glad they have survived COVID.

I stood in line for 15 minutes waiting behind 1 customer and then some lady walked in and was behind me and the girl behind the counter went to her before me. Obviously the place is run horribly with very bad customer service.

Fried chicken and catfish with dirty rice and mashed potato’s can’t go wrong. The testes to the point. Definitely worth a visit. Service was fast. Owner was very friendly too. Will come back with family for sure.

5/10 food had potential but everything just had a spoiled taste to it the fried shrimp were good but the fush has a bad taste as well as the dirty rice .

One of the best Cajun Chicken & Seafood restaurant. I love theirs Shrimp Jambalaya. Managers Special is awesome 2 pc dark & a roll just $2.99.

This place feels more Louisiana than Popeye's. The chicken is good spicy without overdoing the heat and the sides are really good, too.

Always nice and professional, greets you right away, food is always hot and fresh. Been there multiple time, never been disappointed.

Worst location, food is never hot and fresh. Sides are small watered down portions. Not even container full! Workers are nice tho!
