When I was looking for replace my roof, I called two companies with the highest rating on yelp and also Google. Roof work if not done properly can be headache down the road. I want to make sure I am dealing with a good company to avoid any potential issues. Both companies I picked are top notch roofing companies based on the review. I called both of them on the same day, Dan at Los Gatos roofing showed up the next business day to give an estimate. The other company scheduled the estimate visit about three weeks out. Our family for some personal reason need to have this work done and finished within 3 weeks. I explained to Dan my personal situation and asked Dan whether this is doable at all because I know due to Covid many companies are short of workers. Dan promised me that they would do whatever they can to make sure the work is completed within my required timeline. He was extremely helpful and professional helping me pick the material, the color and answered all my questions etc. He scheduled the work within the timeline and said they were aiming to finish this within a day. On the day, when the crew showed up, I started to understand how they could finish this within a day. They have many teams of crew that focus on different aspects of the job. They work seamlessly together. At some point of the day, there were four different types of working trucks and over 10 crew on site at the same time. Both Dan and the owner came onsite on the day. Dan came twice and checked the work and make adjustment if needed. He told me on the day that my heater ventilation will not pass city inspection and asked me to have heater company to fix it. I called up someone next day and Dan got on the phone with him even via three way calling to make sure the other company understands what they need to do. My roof is new after a day and passed inspection without any surprises. By the time this is done, the other company hasn't come to give me estimate yet. I am extremely happy with the choice of Los Gatos roofing. They are professional, reliable, and have the resource and staffing to allow job done promptly with top quality.

We recently had our home reroofed. We had a handful of quotes, part of decided by the cost, and the other part was the quality/workmanship of the chosen. We had a 3 month wait, but requested to be placed on a pull in list if the event someone had to reschedule or cancel. Well it happened we were contacted that out project was able to be pulled in. we were excited and nervous at the same time. they showed up based on the dates/time and we were given a commitment of 5-7 days to completion. The roos was completed within 2 days, and it was amazing watching these ppl work, they did great job cleaning up as they went along no gutter were damaged along the way, which is always good. However, unfortunately during the final inspection the ladder during the last inspection did dent the front gutter a tad. However, overall the experience, quality and workmanship was excellent,. Brandon our Project manager was great from the start of the sale to the end of the job. Kudos to Los Gatos Roofing for keeping their commitment and be a nice group of ppl as well. I wld highly recommend this company for your reroofing job for sure! We are satisfied customers.

We had a tile roof, but rats have breached the exterior and we needed to get a new roof to stop them from gaining access. Several friends recently had Los Gatos Roofing install a new roof. They were all raved about the service of Los Gatos roofing. So with that I called them and they sent out one of their sales professional who showed us some options. About a month later the crew arrived. Very professional and courteous. After removing the old roof they cleaned up around the yard. The next day the roofers and the gutter guys showed up and quickly went to work. By the end of the day they were done including cleanup in and around the yard. The work was top notch. A week later we got a message that out salesman would be by to setup a ladder for the city inspector. The inspection went off without a hitch. We are very pleased with the professionalism of Los Gatos Roofing and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to replace their roof.

Copied 2015 review from my yelp account before deleting the account, still happy with the experience and roof! As I saw a few others mention, I was frustrated by using the "request a quote" form in their website and getting no reply but the automates email saying they'd received my information and would be in contact. (Please remove the form from your website if you aren't actually going to use it or have your webmaster change the email address it sends forms to if that's the issue). After two weeks of waiting, my husband called and was able to get a response. Randy came out the next day and was a polite, knowledgeable, and trustworthy seeming kind of guy. Not pushy. Their actual job on our roof and gutters was great and the roof has held up beautifully for two winters now. Their knowledge and flexibility helped immensely when dealing with the screw ups of another contractor (an insulation company) we had out during the project.

We had a pretty old roof that still had wood shingles and no plywood for the roof deck, but Los Gatos Roofing was great in the entire process. Their quote was lower than other companies and gave multiple options for what could be done with clear information about prices and what selections would mean. Permits were handled by the company and kept on site, and the entire process of removing the old roof, putting on a new deck, and installing the new underlayment and roof took 3 days - amazingly fast work for the ~3000 sq ft roof we have. Impressed with the turnaround time on the work, hauling off all the debris and handling the permit and inspection process, and the highly competitive price made this a great experience. One may have to pay extra for any touch up paint work on new gutters or around stucco areas, but minor inconvenience compared to the quality of a well installed new roof.

I had some water damage in the ceiling in one of my rooms. Los Gatos Roofing came out and to determine if there was a leak in the roof. When Cameron did the inspection he determined that there was a section of shingles that was sticking up but was not the cause of the leak. He replaced the section of shingles as it would be a problem in the future and got the vendor to replace the materials under warranty. As for the leak he determined that it was because of the heavy winds that caused rain to come in through the roof vent. We have had several weeks of rain since and no leak issues. I really feel that Los Gatos Roofing is very knowledgeable in the business and takes to time to resolve any issues you may have. I highly recommend Los Gatos Roofing for any roofing projects or problems.

Los Gatos Roofing recently put a new roof on our house. There were other companies with lower estimates, but the professionalism and attention to detail conveyed by Los Gatos Roofing convinced us to hire them. We are so glad we did. The new roof looks great, and they re-engineered some problems we had with the old roof. Everyone who worked for the company was courteous, and they answered our questions promptly. They also cleaned up the work site thoroughly every day. We feel confident this roof will last for decades. It's a big improvement over what we had before, and adds great value to a great house. Very good experience with Los Gatos Roofing. Daniel inspected the current roof which was in reasonably good condition, so he advised replacing just the southern facing half of the roof as required by the solar panels installer. He promptly provided an estimate and was very responsive to follow up questions. During a long rainy period, he called to schedule the installation the following day when clear skies were forecast. He assured me that half a roof would be completed in one day before the next storm arrived and indeed it was. I would definitely recommend Los Gatos Roofing based on this experience.

We were extremely happy with Los Gatos Roofing. We have a two-story (two-roof) house, and they got everything done -- old roof removal, paper down, new shingles on, flashing complete, etc. -- in 1-1/2 days. Los Gatos Roofing replaced my “not quite flat” roof 5 years ago. It has held up perfectly through the rains this last winter. My roof was originally tar and gravel. That method was not available so now I have a white roof akin to what you see on commercial buildings, which gives better temperature management. They were good to work with.

Job was done competently from initial contact to job completion. The roof looks great, and the work was done efficiently. One day to pull the old roof, one day to install the new roof, and one day to do the gutters. Clean-up was well done. The second story skylights were left dirty, but that's minor.
