The guys were great! I took a 2012 Challenger SRT in a couple of weeks ago to get a Solo Catback system installed. Was in and out within a few hours (due to other customers and some customization's needed for the install) and they quoted me $150 to install my exhaust. Their technician even fabricated some custom hangers for me after finding out that my factory ones were missing at no additional charge. While it was on the lift, I asked them to install some trailing arms which they did for $45. The whole shop was very personable and enjoyed talking cars. The car sounds great and there are no exhaust leaks or foreign rattles with about 250 miles on them. It was a great experience and I will definitely use them when I get LT headers. For price comparison, the other shops I quoted wanted $180-250 to install the exhaust alone.

Brought my car there a week or so ago for another mid pype on my car. Ive been here before to get my tips on my car, loved the guys who did the work. However. the shop owner decided to help me out this time. He put my car on the lift and i was very clear about what i wanted and he kept trying to argue me down about what i wanted done to my car. He kept saying "Id just leave it the way it is". I didnt appreciate the attitude or bad customer service. Wouldnt recommend this place for that reason. Ill keep driving the 20 minutes to AL's, at least i know ill get the work done i want.

Don't go there if you want anything custom. It seems they only do simple catback exhaust installs or muffler swaps. Really disappointed after talking to them about installing a true dual exhaust system. They gave me all of these excuses about why it wouldn't work. A simple we can't do it would have been enough, but instead they started complaining. Really unprofessional staff people as well with attitudes who seemed like I was bothering them by asking them to check out something under my car. Overall I would have gave them no stars but one star was the lowest, so there you go.

Buyer beware: Insurance recommended Caliber Collision. Caliber chose to send it here, based on their review history, for a hack job. Crooked pipes, multiple bad looking welds, welding stick stuck to weld, loose wires not secured. Not only does the job look bad but, also lost horsepower. Theft caused the repair in the first place. After the repair, all I can say is that I've been robbed three times from the original incident to completion. I'm highly dissatisfied with the results and all parties.

Ive been going to Lone Star Muffler since i was like 17 for any of my muffler/exhaust concerns or problems. They have been around for a long time and i dont think there isn't anything they wont be able to help you with. True trustworthy American places like this are starting to wither away fast and im glad they still around! Dont hesitate to come here for any problems regarding your exhaust/muffler issues. They will get you in the right direction for very reasonable prices!

Came here from another place because they told me I needed my lower control arms replaced and was quoted over $500+ to do that and a front end alignment. Brought my car here and they told me that I didn’t need lower control arms replaced at all and that a bolt was just missing. They replaced the bolt AND did my front in alignment for $150 and my car is better than ever. Highly recommend to anyone for all your mechanical needs. They’re honest, thorough and efficient people.

A stand-out group of guys and work that they do! I was very pleased with their install of an aftermarket axle-back exhaust I brought to them. They work quickly, and communicate what all is going on since you can stand just outside of the shop doors and see what is going on and talk to them. I saw everything from vintage muscle cars, trucks and modern sport cars being worked on. Excellent prices, great work, and local to the Pearland area. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks !

Don't go here ever since I had them to install both of exhaust I have been having major problems. I took it back to them and they said it wasn't because of the exhaust they had installed . Never had any problems with my truck until the put the two exhaust on. I went to a different mechanic shop and they fixed the problem. They said they installed the wrong. Over $5000 spent because I replaced so many things thinking that was the problem. Highly disappointed!

A&b Auto electric is closed I have no idea why Google put this on lone Star muffler they are still open. They are a good place to do business with.once again a&b Auto electric has been closed for years. They are a Houston legend for being fair and honest in their work, but now they are gone like a cool breeze.once again Google told me to rate a & b Auto electric and then it put up lone Star muffler. Took my older truck there because I was sure I could hear an exhaust leak. They drove it, put it on the rack and said there's no leak and everything looks really good. He said I'll sell you a new exhaust if you insist, but this one is fine and working well. Honesty is something you don't find a lot when it comes to sales these days. I recommend Lone Star Mufflers and will definitely use these guys from here on out with all my vehicles.

Good, honest work. Went there by recommendation of another mechanic for a catalytic converter and after checking things out they said it was instead 02 sensors that went bad. They weren’t trying to upsell or push for unnecessary repairs. They got the work done quick and charged a reasonable price. Great place that I’d go out of my way to bring my car back to if I ever need to.

I came to this shop because my sister recommended this place. I told the guy my steering wheel was shaking when I drive past 50 mph . He simply said , it's your tire. Something is coming apart with your tire .Mind you the tires are practically new .He had no interest in test driving or looking at my car for me .He was more into his truck and why the alarm was going off .

I was installing my own exhaust on my truck and needed a adapter for my muffler. Went to a couple of auto part stores and came up empty. Went to midas and minke and they couldn't help. Called lone star muffler and they said they could help . Took them about 2 minutes to make what I needed. They know what they're doing.

Eric and his crew are great, repaired my mufflers on my Mustang and gave me a couple of recommendations that also needed attention on my vehicle that his crew repaired in a timely fashion. Showed pride and passion in whatever they worked on. Even my motor mounts where repaired here. 5 star's hand's down.

This business is legit. I came to have my catalytic converter replaced and they got the job done. They were very professional and fast turnaround. It took them 1 hour to complete the job.No more check engine light because of misfires that kept happening because of the bad catalytic converter.

Called to get a price on changing an exhaust manifold on a 72 Chevy. Talked to 1 helpful man, but was put on hold and another not so bright individual picked up and told me it was hopeless to get the parts. It's a stock 350 with lots of clearance to work. Competency level overall seems low.

After my catalytic ciconvert was fixed here my ac quit working. I had someone look under the hood and it looks like my ac clutch dioide was removed Feel like they took advantage of a lady bringing her truck in to get fixed won't go back again

Helpful will always tell you the truth no BS nothing is cheap in this world they have to make a living as well. if they can't get around to helping you it's because they have customers waiting trust me it's worth the wait in the long run.

I have been to this shop multiple times in the past and was satisfied with the work performed on my vehicle. That's definitely not the case anymore. I went in to have work done on my car and was recommended something other than I liked.

I have taken my families vehicles and my own there for exhaust issues since the early 90s. They have never disappointed me. My latest trip to them was for my trucks 13 year old Flowmaster exhaust system that LSM did in 2008.

I'm a customer for life after first visit. Dealer wanted $600 for a new muffler (service not included). Brought it in hoping to get one for less. Mechanic let us know it was just a loose part. $50 flat service.

They got a rust-welded tailpipe stub off, and a fresh tailpipe installed, without welding or cutting, in about 20 minutes. These folks know what they're doing and will do it for a fair price.
