I had to take a minute and give a review. I had to provide fish for 20 employees for a work Xmas dinner party. On the morning of the party I was told this needed to be done. The first call I placed was to Sunrise. The rude woman on the phone gave me 101 reasons why she didn't want to take my companies money. She wouldn't even tell me how much fish she fried the day and if I could get some she already made. This woman treated me like I was begging her for the thing. Wow. I called LIViNG WELL (should've been my first call) and spoke to Jackson. Right away he said he could do it! I was in disbelief. Everyone I spoke to provided *excellent* customer service! I was even in the area and called them to see if I could pick it up early and it was no problem! In future when we need fish for our employees this company will be my first call. . . Oh! Btw, the employees say "thank you for the delicious fish!"

Edit Feb 21 2022: The frequent inavailabity of French Fries honestly has killed this place for me. I used to come to the mall here solely to get food from Living Well. I can't reliably do that anymore if a basic menu item I enjoy is unavailable after 3pm. I am not going to even ask anymore, it's a shame because I really enjoy the food when I can get it. I'm leaving my old review up underneath this for contrast. Old review(was 5 stars) The amount of food you get with the daily special is unparalleled to anything else you can purchase to-go. You'd expect the quality of the food to suffer for this, but they consistently deliver great tasting meals for one on an affordable budget that suits the needs of the locals. 10/10

They had a store at Jane and Finch mall, which closed down last year. I had placed a catering order for 20 people for my mom's birthday through one of the managers. He said that he wanted me to pay by credit card, once he figured out the cost, but I couldnt reach him the day before to find out how much I had to pay. Thank God that I didn't lose my money. On the day of the event I called the manager on numerous occasions to no avail. Fortunately my friends stepped in, so that my mom's special day was not ruined. A word of caution, be careful when being asked for your credit card information over the phone. I had eaten from there many times, so I was lulled into false sense of security.

The one at Jane and Finch mall SMH brought my out of province family there around 9:30pm for some real cartibbea food I was so disappointed. First of all they only had chicken left secondly the rice was a tad too salty and the food was very cold when ask if she can warm it we were told they don't have a microwave. I had to promise them next time they come I will take them to the best Carribean restaurants and also promise my uncle a restaurant that you can see your food being prepared or tend to , too much Carribean restaurant have this mentallity that they need to take your food to the back instead of finishing preparing it Infront of you.

The food from this place is actually pretty good but the customer service is terrible. Online it’s says they close at 9pm I got to the store at 7:20 they were out of almost everything. They only had a few piece of chicken to make a mini meal. And the employees didn’t look like they wanted to make more. I had to just get my refund and leave the place. The place also needs some cleaning it’s dirty the roof looks like it’s been leaking water for some time now. Management time to step up!

I give it two stars because (1) the food always tasted great consistently and (2) the prices are fairly decent. The location (four winds) looks run down. It looks like noone has ever cleaned. The ladies were handling chicken without gloves. One of the ladies went to go get the bucket of bbq sauce and would grab the freshly fried chicken with her bare hands and toss it into the BBQ bucket. So much cross contamination here this is how people get sick. It's sad to see because I truly love the food here. Lack of professionalism and cleanliness.

(Four Winds Location) Good fried chicken and Oxtail for a low price, but my gosh they need to get a better ORDER system going on. It's happened 4 times where I got the wrong order. Asked for rice and peas and got plain steamed rice. My order was given to another person accidently. No veggies were added to the "mega" chicken meal when the menu shows it comes with it (this happened more than three times). The only reason I come here is cause the food is delicious for a good price but they need to be more consistent with their ordering system

Living well (with a new name of Irie Flavours) is our go-to catering place for our workplace- a hospital. They have the BEST food around!! Their fried chicken should win an award. Excellent pricing, neatly packed, food arrives hot every time. The staff are top notch- especially Keisha. Professional, accessible and so easy to work with. They go above and beyond to make sure us frontline staff are taken care of and well fed! We are return customers and I feel everyone else will be too! Check it out! You won’t be disappointed.

not sure if these are two different locations, but there is a living well on four winds road and sentinel in the york campus, inside the little shopping mall thing. the jerk chicken here is amazing! i always come back. very tender, falls off the bone, very well spiced.. make sure to get the rice with peas, red sauce on the chicken and oxtail gravy on the rice. very good food at a fair price... highly recommended. the service here is friendly, quick and competent.

The best Jamaican food at an economical price. Mini meal portions are really good for a single person, medium is good for when you are extra hungry and large is good enough for two people. Mini meal gets you 2 pc chicken, medium 3 pc and large 4 pc. You can chose between 3 different types of chicken (Fried, BBQ and Jerk) and white rice or rice and peas. Lots of different options for the sauce as well. The also have daily deals. Fresh, fast and hot.

You guys don't even deserve one star customer service is bad need to work on communications skills. I came there and buy a food it was super cold I called and explain to them they told me to warm it up at home because they are not pizza pizza they don't refund, Which I find rude.All I wanted to hear was sorry for the inconvenience but instead I got yelled at.

Favorite place for cheap Jamaican food in the area. $5 for a mini jerk chicken, with rice and peas. They often have $4 meal specials. Very yummy jerk chicken. Their goat curry is great but a bit pricey, but it is worth checking out for their affordable jerk chicken dish. That alone is gold and makes the restaurant.

Refried chicken mostly.Old, hard and dry. Filthy place. Very rare u get Fresh chicken. This place should be shut down. Staffs and cook has no class(dress,talk and operate how they feel and want) Curry is filled with oil and no flavour. This place need a proper make over and new workers.

Food is alright, but the customer service is absolute utter garbage. The employees are not customer friendly, passive aggressive and they always look irritable. If you were to get food from here, order in or do pick up, so you don’t have to deal with the dreadful customer service.

If I could put zero stars I would. I ordered 2 chicken soups and it was all OIL. My stomach is literally hurting as type this. Being able to make chicken soup is basic for a Caribbean restaurant.

I got a goat soup on Saturday. unfortunately, I could not eat it because I found a larvae of some sort in my soup. Disgusting, won't buy this again. When I researched what it could be using Google image, it says it could possibly be a nasal bot that infect goats or sheep.

The most delicious jerky chicken I have ever eaten in Canada and very reasonable price.. highly recommended ✅

Looking for some good food came across this restaurant by default OMG what a find from the friendly service to the outstanding menu and food have already recomend this place try it you won't be disappointed very good value

In response to owners inquiry regards to improvements. My honest productive criticism which i hardly ever provide is either provide fast track customer service course to your staff or hire customer friendly employees.

Fried chicken with extra jerk sauce is my go to meal. It's not only delicious, but cheap. My only issue with this place is the cleanliness. The tables provided are usually dirty and not wiped properly.

The food is so good, the $5 specials are really great. Although it kind of bugs me that they usually don't have much food left like a couple hours before they close, so I would make sure to go earlier

The food is good but the service is horrible with a capital H. Half the time the chef isn't there so half the menu can't be ordered and its so annoying. Why have a menu if u can't serve it smh

The oxtail i have was soooo tender and delicious that if I went here again I would order more of it, and the rice was cooked perfectly which I don't see that often.
