I typically don’t leave reviews, but as someone who worked in customer service for years, I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The managers and employees need some retraining on their service practices. Placed a curb-side pickup that would be ready in 2 hours. Went to the store 4 hours later as I live out of town, I was approached 15 mins into me wandering around trying to find someone because of how selective they seem to be with who they choose to speak to considering I am younger and heavily tattooed, probably just assumed I wasn’t spending money and wasn’t on brand enough to be in their Burlington housewife fantasy. First woman I dealt with was absolutely lovely, wish I got her name because she really was trying to help me and was so kind and it was her first day. First, it doesn’t exist in their system and after 40 mins of 3 managers trying to find it, one of them suddenly remembers that curb-side pickup isn’t working? They couldn’t refund me. They couldn’t give me the item that was in stock that I already paid for. They had no solution to the issue other than me spending more money again to buy the product in store? They didn’t call their customer support or put in any sort of effort to rectify the issue. Was basically told to wander around the mall until I get a pickup email. Good thing I chose to go back home! it’s now saying my order should be ready to pick up in 1-3 weeks :) place is an absolute nightmare and none of the employees/managers seem to have any idea what’s going on. Buyer beware. Update: Was refunded for my pickup the following day. Called to see if they still had my item in stock so I could just return to purchase it in store. Whoever I was speaking to said my item didn’t exist and they had no idea what I was talking about. I give them the SKU directly from their site, sure enough, person says they don’t have it now and I can buy a different colour. I show up to the store and it takes me 2 minutes to find my size and colour in the item I originally wanted that was told doesn’t exist. I asked the first available sales associate if I could please get the other UGG to the display model so I could just be done with this 48hr nightmare. She asks me “do you want to try it on?” I said nope I just want to buy them as they are my size and the colour I need. She follows up with “are you sure, do you want me to check the price for you?” Again, nope just want to buy. The whole interaction was extremely uncomfortable and judgmental as if I couldn’t possibly afford or was qualified to purchase what I was interested in ? Thankfully I had a gift card and wasn’t spending my own money here because I couldn’t wait for the purchase to be over with. Never going here again.

I ordered a set of beer glasses for a house warming and the given time for pick up was 2-3 days. The next day I got an email to say pickup was pushed 2-3 weeks because of an issue with store inventory. After 3 weeks, I checked on the order and it now said it would be another 2-3 weeks but it would be too late for the event so I wanted to cancel it. I went online and attempted to cancel but I couldn’t find an easy way to do it so I called the customer service number. They told me I had to use the bot online or go into the store to cancel. The bot kept asking for my order number and then postal code and kept cycling through the same questions. I tried on another device /browser but it was the same issue. I went to the store and they told me the order has not been picked and to call or cancel online… suffice to say, I can’t cancel this order and the entire customer service experience has been very poor. *Shortly after posting this review, a team leader reached out to me and confirmed cancellation of the order so I have increased it to 3 stars.

My husband and I went in to use a gift card we had for over a year now. Originally searching for a duvet. This was our second time coming into this location. The first time wasn’t a good impression. Sales associates made it feel like you needed to be watched or hounded. But this time around ,it was the most wonderful customer service. We were approached by Louise upon entry. She handed us a card and helped us pick out a duvet and two pillows among other home decor for our new home. Great customer service is hard to find these days, and we appreciated Louise and her wonderful help. Even at the cash register ,the other two ladies were so very helpful with multiple transactions so we could benefit from the promotions they currently had in store. We will definitely be back ! Thank you Louise and her associates ( sunday sept 10 around 12pm )

We came to Mapleview for bedding and the options throughout all the bed stores are overwhelming. I've always loved Linen Chest so we had a gander at their selection and you are truly spoilt for choice here. Their associate Daniel helped guide us through the duvets and pillows before finally helping us select our sheets. The one size and colour we wanted wasn't on the shelf and he searched high and low to fulfil our desires. We are very grateful to Daniel for his patience because we asked him the same questions about 90 times and he took it all in stride. I'm not sure what else Daniel wants to do in life but if he brings the same energy as he does to his sheet-selling work, he will be very successful. A very pleasant experience overall.

The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had, the manager ( unqualified) told us this chair is $199.00 for 2 and we agreed to purchase then he started to do some research and after 1/2 hour he said no each one is $199.00 dollars, why would a manager give you wrong information !! When I asked him you told us 2 for $199 you should honour your words, he said no I don’t have to ( very rude) instead of apologizing, and he said I will give you 5% discount and I said give me 10% at least he walked away and said think about it!!!!! Very unprofessional and I will not shop there again and I will tell everyone about it. He doesn’t even know how to use a computer and he’s got a job as a manager!!!!! Something is wrong.

All sales associates not to be found (busy with other customers?) front desk/cashier announced for sales assist on speaker, waited awhile, until what seemed to be a manager with disgruntled attitude, she seemed miserable in helping us - we asked for 10 large-rectangular plates - she went to a selection of plates and dig out 10, of which 5-were wrong sized - she went ahead to see if more were in stock - I had to point out that she was checking for the wrong sized plates - also, were these plates on sale?, as there was a blue paper sign with 45%off - but we were not advised, otherwise we may have bought more - in the end we said thanks, but no thanks…

Well, I am almost reluctant to give five stars because of the amount of time I had to spend in the store to buy what I specifically went there to buy, however once I was able to get assistance from the one sales associate on the floor (5 minutes of wandering to find her) then had to wait as she was serving someone else, Debora was amazing! Clearly there was a staffing issue today, as the check out had a large delay also, however the employee at the till was super friendly. Based on the employee interactions and the merchandise I purchased, I am rating 5 star, however if the service delays continue on my next visit, I will update accordingly.

I went in this morning to purchase a comforter. The store had more employees than staff around 11 am. An associate came over asked what I was looking for when I told her she pointed up to the top shelf. She then walked away I thought she was still helping me but no she went to stand and gossip with another working associate. Another man came over I asked home to locate a duvet cover for me. He walked over to a computer to type it in but got distracted by another associate and rather than finish helping me first he went and helped her. I left the store never to return. No wonder you have more staff than customers on a Saturday wake up!

My prayers been answer finally we have linen chest open a beautiful store in Mapleview mall !!! The moment you walk in be greeted by store manager, the store have a lot of varieties to choose from A to Z.. Anything you needed for you home . Specially, when you’re in store ask for Hellen. she is knowledgeable and very professional . She helped me. I explain what I need in what colour steam , she recommended and know. What will work for me and my home . I was vey pleased with my purchases . I highly recommend my friend and family to visit .

Just purchased a glider chair on the weekend for our nursery. Canpar who delivered it today left it outside in the rain all day which we got barely any notice of it being delivered today. After being told 7-14 days on the weekend . Came home to soggy soaked cardboard and a really wet $600 chair. Poor customer service and delivery. We Won’t ever buy from linen chest again .

Came in looking to buy a pan, noticed associate was following us around as she pretended to organize the shelf she proceeded to leave the area when we left the area which made it blatant that she was watching us. Not once did she ask if we needed help. Left empty handed as I refuse to spend my money in a place that makes me feel like I’m a thief when I’m not.

Has beautiful things, but the service is so frustrating. I had to wait for a curtain about 20 days and they didn’t call me to pick up, while they had it in the store.Also, for a simple thing like changing the address for delivery or change from delivery to pick up, you have to wait in the store at least for 2 hours. The cashiers are not trained well.

Today I had a delightful experience finding a specific bedspread in Kingsize. I had wonderful service from Michelle who went out of her way to help me and I ended up ordering it online because it didn’t exist in Kingsize! We just purchased two Delonghi Eletta espresso/cappuccino machines. The service and instruction was over the top! We were approached several times by sales associates! No need to go looking for help…and all very knowledgeable. I advise people to check out the new store at Mapleview mall in Burlington!!

The staff here are rude and very selective of who they are helpful to. We were looking at bowls and dinnerware for some time and wanted to flag someone for help. The staff member actively asked everyone in the same section if they needed help except for us and completely ignored us.

Worst front desk attended. First they don’t understand the issues. And secondly they are not at all cooperative. I was attended by a woman in scarf. She couldn’t understand the problem and dint even made the efforts to help.

The worst customer service. They don’t explain the return policy when you buy something. Even though the receipt says you have 30 days to change the item, they won’t change it or give you credit to the store .

Terrible service and it’s a dirty store. They won’t do returns from Instacart and they haven’t been properly trained to resolve complaints. They are not knowledgeable about policies and computers.
