I recently had my hair done my Tamarah and she absolutely killed it. I had years of box dye and colour build up in my hair, I had went to one salon to start the process of going back to blonde a few months ago but it's a very busy place and difficult to get appointments so I was looking else where and came across this salon. I'm so happy I gave it a chance because it was turly the best salon experience I've had. Tamarah took her time with the foil placements and formulated multiple toners to try and cancel the red tones in my ends. I never once felt my hair was in danger as she frequently came to check the state of it which I haven't had before at other places and experienced a lot of breakage. She was fun, attentive and honest which was so refreshing. 10/10 would recommend seeing her!

I am so excited since meeting with Penny for my hair appointment today . I have had to work through a color change (from black to grey blending with bleach) and my hair had gone through a lot of changes in texture. This was done by someone else. I had always had soft hair in the past, but that had drastically changed since I started bleaching and my haircut no longer had me feeling confident. A family member recommended Penny, and boy did she not disappoint. It was very easy for her to tame my hair and restore the texture. Not only that but she listened to all my comments and she fixed every one of my issues (shape & color). I am sooo impressed with her skills. She is definitely in the Christmas miracle business. I feel my confidence back which is the most amazing thing!!

5 stars I cannot recommend Liaisons hair studio enough! Vehman is the sweetest, most welcoming person. She is my stylist, and she is beyond amazing. I had damaged hair with a brassy color for years, and I've always hated it. Vehman has helped me repair it . And get a tone I've never dreamed of.... she has been so great at explaining everything and also preserving the integrity of my hair. I don't trust anyone else to touch my hair after the disasters I caused at home. She really takes your needs into consideration, and always delivers the perfect result! She truly cares about the health of my hair while offering a unique style. I can't stop looking at the mirror now Thanks Vehman

New to the Ottawa area, I read the reviews about this salon and thought I’d give it a go, and I was not disappointed. I always hate getting my hair done because it’s long and most hair dressers just want a dramatic change and want to cut it. Tara was amazing! She loved my long hair as much as I did, advised on how we could use layers to give it some volume and helped pick the perfect hair color for me. She was extremely patient as I was very undecided when I arrived, and was so knowledgeable and helpful. I loved Tara so much I will now make my hair a priority and see her on the regular. So personable and sweet, I highly recommend.

I have been hesitant about hair stylists before but after my very first appointment ever with Tara, completely changed my outlook. I love that she is open to any idea and she has her own flair. I let her style and cut my hair any way to thinks will look good. I have found my stylist will not see anyone else. I also want to give a shout out to the whole team as the atmosphere that they have created is amazing. Always good for a good laugh. The ladies there are just amazing people that love what they do. Highly recommend this place for anyone!

This was my first time at this hair studio. Convenient online appointment scheduling. My hair hadn't been cut in a year due to Covid-19! Penny was up for the challenge! I love the cut she did! I definitely recommend this hair studio. Wonderful staff, easy to find, free parking. Covid-19 protocol adhered to. I received an appointment reminder email with a Covid-19 questionnaire. Further screening upon arrival at the appointment. The salon was very peaceful, clean, bright and nicely decorated. Thank you Penny! I am so thankful I found you!

Being a hijabi I was a little nervous in the beginning but Tamarrah made sure to make me feel comfortable throughout my appointment. I didn’t feel rushed during the appointment and Tamarah was very patient. She was very detail oriented and provided the best services. I also met Penny and her great experience reflected through her work. The overall atmosphere was great and they also have free parking available :) I am very satisfied and will be coming back!!!

If you’re hesitant, don’t be. This hair salon and the hairdressers are amazing! Especially Tamarah, she did an amazing job with my hair. I was very hesitant and scared about my hair, but she did an incredible job. I love it so much and don’t regret anything. Was looking for a simple haistyle; no products and minimal use of tools as I am not very agile with them. I got exactly what I asked for. Penny asked several times what I was comfortable with in terms of length as I was going shorter and styled my hair in a way, I can reproduce at home. This was my first experience at this salon but I will definetly be going back. Thank you!!

This is my second time seeing Tara for highlights and a cut. I am extremely pleased with the colour and style. She listened to my concerns and put more colour where needed. She adapted the formula for the toner from the last time based on results. It looks so natural! We have a great rapport and are able to easily fill the hours with conversation. This salon came to my hair rescue! I had gone to another location and received some seriously outdated highlights (think Kelly Clarkson circa early 2000s). Tamarah was amazing, basically a hair wizard. After like 200 foils and 4 hours later I left fully confident in my hair again :) Tamarah takes such pride in her work, you’ll be in great hands and won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely great haircut from Tamarah! She is very careful with curly hair and doesn't rush into cutting it without learning about its structure first. I love this place! The staff are so welcoming and clean. I ever feel out of place when I walk in. Tamarah is a hair wizard. A few years ago, Penny was recommended to me. I explained that I wanted a silvery grey colour that would eventually blend with my own grey, which was still changing. She did a magnificent job on the colour and cut, and I have been going there ever since.
