I’ve been here before once and it was amazing and there was only one guy working and he was super nice and prompt with my order. Yesterday, I called ahead and order tacos, quesadilla plate, tamale, and quesabirria plate (I had to repeat my order 3x because the lady wasn’t understanding). They said it would be ready in 5-7 min so I get there and they’re still putting everything together (there’s 2 cooks and one lady at the front). I get in the car and before I leave they forget the consome for the quesabirria and another order of rice and beans. I go back in, tell them they had forgotten a few items, and the lady is super rude to me and said I hadn’t ordered the plate which I had by repeating myself 3x on the phone. Because she messed up, she still went ahead and charged me for just the rice and beans. Then, I get home and the food is luke warm and was not fresh. The rice and beans were old, tamale was hard, the consome had no flavor, tacos and quesabirria were soggy as if they had been sitting there for hours. The only thing that was good was the quesadilla which my husband thought was really good. Today, I woke up feeling extremely sick and turns out I have food poisoning. Stay away from this place.

Bad experience. Not many options for late night dining ended up here for that reason only. Waited for my food over 40 mins. Gave multiple reminders that I was not served my food despite being charged and all my friends receiving their orders timely. Each time it was advised that it was on its way. Everyone was actually finished theirs and still did not have mine. Inquired yet again, and it turns out no one even put the order in. They spent another 10 minutes attempting to locate the order, then another 10 haphazardly attempting to refund and I’m pretty sure I’ll still have to contact my bank because the entire process seemed unreliable. Ultimately, they did not even bother to attempt to remedy their mistake by expediting order or comping food. At this point it’s past 2am, with pretty dismal options food wise and this place didn’t even care. Was simply advised to return another time, which I would NEVER do. It’s late and I was hungry but the tacos looked dry and bland. Friends mentioned that the only item that was heated were the beans. Don’t recommend.

Absolutely in love with this place. Who knew I'd be so far from cali and still be able to get street-style tacos inside of Oak Lawn. I'm not a fan of tex mex and have always preferred the simple street type tacos so prominent in California. You'll get them here. :) This place is open 24 hours so whenever your heart desires, you can get street tacos. Service is friendly, food is good, nothing like the taco trucks of SoCal, but I'm content. Pricing is fair - tacos are between $2-3/each. I've had the trompo (which is al pastor without pineapple), carne asada tacos, as well as their quesadillas. I've had their baked potato OMG to die for, and their birria tacos. :) I'm happy with everything and recommend this place to everyone so that we can keep them alive and kicking for our late night cravings. Refried beans are yummy, good salsa and crunchy chips. Ya'll need to get on this, people! Love you, Lemmon Street Tacos!! This is the closest taqueria to me so I definitely come here at least twice a month. I do always just order for takeout once I get there because I don’t like my tacos just waiting on me but they have never made me wait longer than 15 minutes for my food. I always get the $10.99 taco plate it comes with 5 tacos I always get trompo and fajita and it also comes with rice and beans. Cilantro, limes, onions, and the salsa are always fresh on the side. The tacos always taste good to me I am not the hugest fan of double tortilla but thats just me trying to be healthy. The rice can sometimes be over-seasoned but their charro beans smack. My boyfriend always gets the trompo burger which I will get a picture of next time but it’s always delicious. He recommends you get the avocado on the side so your burger does not get soggy. The elote was super cheesy and honestly tasty. The service is okay but I do not expect red carpet service from only one person being in the front checking out customers, cleaning, and serving. I will keep coming back here.

I loved this place last weekend, so I decided to come this morning to grab food for my office. I called to place my order, and the gentleman that answered the phone couldn't understand me, so he hung up. I called back multiple times with no answer. I drove the restaurant to order in person upon my arrival, the gentleman that attempted to take my order, his comprehension of English was poor. This language barrier made it difficult for him to understand me. Due to this, I decided to cancel my order and go elsewhere. I planned to spend a little over $100 to feed my staff breakfast. So, this establishment lost out on funds because no one working could service me. I can only imagine how much money they lose due to this. NOTE TO THE OWNER: You may want to consider hiring someone who is bilingual. It would benefit you immensely financially.

After living in San Antonio for a number of years and tasting authentic Mexican food, this place offers amazing food that tastes just like true Mexican fare that will transport you across the border. The servers are nice and attentive. The food is reasonably priced and certainly will fill you up. Try the trompo burger. 2nd visit: The tacos were pretty good, not oily like they were on my first visit. I'll continue popping in when not wanting to leave the neighborhood for tacos. First impression review: Nice new spot in the neighborhood. Super clean and friendly staff. Will visit again. Tried the Trompo, Fajita Steak, and Barbacoa tacos. All three were pretty good although the tortillas were slightly too oily for me. I'd still get them again though. The salsas were both great; they tasted homemade and fresh. The Ratones (stuffed jalapenos) were super fresh jalapenos and packed some heat, but also a bit too greasy/oily for my preference.

You can tell you are going to have some great street tacos when the corn shells are doubled. They have a 5 taco plate for $10.99 and you can mix and match proteins, that comes with rice and beans. The woman who took my order was sweet. The chicken and barbacoa was flavorful! Even the onions were sweet and the right amount of bite to cut through the meat. I enjoyed the restaurant that was here before but this is a place I know I will frequent regularly. I will return.

This place used to be good when it first opened. Everytime I order food to go, the food is cold especially the elotes, they always forget utensils and salsas. The young Hispanic girl working the front is rude and unprofessional, especially last night after getting my order wrong, instead of apologizing she was giving me attitude and then took the food out of the bag and gave it to the people in back. I've worked in the food industry and that's not how it's supposed to be done. There's better late night taco places just a few minutes up the street.

Insanely good authentic Mexican food. Insanely good mangonatas just so good. You have to go here. The service was surprisingly amazing you can tell this is a place that loves its customers. Not bad at all. Plenty of parking out front. Open 24 hrs. Fajita tacos were good. Trompo tacos, rice and beans were ok. Fajita cheese fries were the best. Salsa packets in bags was a nice touch. No cilantro or onions as a default was not a good surprise. Didn’t know I had to ask for it since no taco place ever has ever done it without them as a default. So wasn’t happy to get home with tacos and no cilantro or lime on the side. Some tacos were a bit oily but I get what they are going for. Plenty of other options to try so I’ll be back soon.

I was struggling trying to find some tacos de trompo when I came across this place. The tacos were crispy without me having to ask. The beans are charro beans and the rice was really flavorful. I also decided to get some elote and it was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Definitely worth it. The price was good too. Clean place, great salsas and the workers were super nice! I originally wanted it the food to go but decided to stay since it was nice.

It looks way better than it is, the tacos are great, I would get the tacos everytime. I got a burrito and I was expecting a huge stuffed burrito but it was fairly small, barely any meat in it the menu didn't say it would have rice in it so idk why they did all that it was literally more rice than anything. I ordered two tacos one beef and one chicken. The tacos were served with salt and pepper plus the usual fixings of sauces, cilantro, diced onions and slices of lime. The tacos were very very bland so the salt and pepper was needed. The service was not friendly. Not a place I would order from again if other options for tacos were available. They are open 24hrs which is the only great thing about this place in my opinion.

I would give this restaurant zero stars if that option was available. I came in to place a large taco order for a school sports team and I was told the order was “too large” for them to make. When I asked how long it would take and offered to wait, the employee blew me off and said “I don’t know.” On top of that, they refuse to honor the State of Texas tax exempt form. HORRIBLE customer service! Went to the next taco place up the street and got what I wanted.

They serve the best trompo/pastor tacos. It is really hard to find a place that uses the best pork meat and best ingredients to prepare real pastor tacos. I highly recommend this place.

We’ve been back a few times now because we can’t escape their gooey and cheesy quesadillas and birrias tacos! Their street tacos are also delicious and simple. The prices are great and although at times a communication barrier is present, the employees are always incredibly kind, patient, and courteous. They also have a selection of drinks and smoothies and bobas, all of which have been tasty for those we’ve tried.

This place is good but be aware tips do not go to the people who make your order take your order or drop your order at the table. The tip jar by the register goes to the owner. Tip your server. Just do it directly

I love this place ; the salsa , the meat, the tortillas.. but the lack of admiration and the simple fact that the staff doesn’t care bout your meal. I ask every time for extra limes and I always get charged extra. But yet when I’m not given them and I ask for them - the staff is so atrociously rude. Please check your food before you leave the property.

Shady ownership! After adding tip to my bill for great customer service, I was told by staff they don't get any of the tips because it goes to the owner only. I'm tipping employees for great service and not some behind the scene owner that isn't assisting me. That is so shady and disrespectful to me as a customer, but even more importantly to the employee that was so good and made me want to tip. #greedy

This is a good place for a quick bite. The people were super friendly and helpful. The tacos were fresh and hot, the place was clean and stuff too. Plenty of parking out front. Also wheelchair accessible. Lots of other restaurants around. The strawberry boba lemonade is yummy too. Good, medium/cheap taco joint.

Worst Taco place ever. I had place an order to go and received the wrong order. I let it go but when I got home, the meat was so hard like if it was there for days. The rice and beans were like if they were re-heated after days. Not fresh at all. Will not request a refund or complaint to the restaurant but needed to do a review of this place and will DEFINITELY NOT go back.

Finally tried this and WOW!!! Got the 25 trompo taco deal - best family food deal in town. Everything was fresh, homemade and delicious. Churros are to die for. This is now our new #1 neighborhood taco place.

The tacos here were great! Double tortilla, that’s how you know they’re authentic and good. The consome for the quesobirria was so good, it was spicy which i had never had a spicy consome before. It was sooo good, would def come back for that!! The melon chill smoothie is also a must try, it’s made fresh and has so much flavor.

The perfect place for LATE LATE NIGHT taco eatzzz… was very satisfied with my trompo and barbacoa tacos, had to order another round ! They skimped alittle on the meat with the burrito but other than that everything was delicious

I had no issues. Great find for inexpensive street tacos in uptown. Not the greatest for sure but it does far better than some overpriced chain restaurant. They are worth it in the area. Thanks!

Wow. It’s Darn good. I got the Barbacoa Torta and the steak quesadilla. Wow. It was amazingly delicious. The Mango tea was awesome. Great restaurant.
