A Beautiful place of worship where all are welcome to worship the One Universal God. The Ahmadiyya Community have the motto 'Love for All, hatred for None', in which they believe and practice. I have visited many times in the last 30 years and always felt the warmth and love. Ahmadis are Muslims who believe that the Messiah or latter day Reformer awaited by all the world's great religions such as Judaism, Christianity and Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism etc came and established the community to bring all people to the one universal religion to live in peace and harmony. This latter day reformer/Messiah is Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS). Ahmadis believe that all of the answers to the world's ills and woes are to be found in the beautiful teachings of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and expounded by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS). Whether you lack peace at home, or from your family/friends or whether you are concerned about peace in the world, the members there will be only too happy to listen with love and compassion and share with you the philosophies of the community over a cup of tea/coffee and snacks. Love for All Hatred for None!!
Leicester Mosque, Baitul Ikram, is a truly remarkable place of worship and a testament to the thriving Muslim community in the heart of Leicester. As a visitor to this beautiful mosque, I was deeply impressed by its architectural splendor, welcoming atmosphere, and the sense of tranquility it exudes. What truly sets Baitul Ikram apart is its commitment to fostering interfaith dialogue and community outreach. The mosque hosts various educational and social events that promote understanding, inclusivity, and harmony among people of different faiths. This commitment to unity is truly commendable and reflects the mosque's role as a pillar of the Leicester community. Whether you are a Muslim seeking solace or a visitor interested in learning about Islam, a visit to Baitul Ikram is an experience that should not be missed. *** Picture is the mosque's general Hall.
Always welcoming, considerate and informative. Having attended women only and mixed events, been on tours of the facilities and the prayer hall I can say unreservedly that their motto, ‘Love to All, Hate to None’ is demonstrated by all their congregation, even the children rushing in to be helpful when needed to show the way or explain procedure. Plus the food is wonderful on Iftar and other occasions. They hold regular open information evenings and the Iman has spoken on Interfaith discussion groups and panels that I have been on, to great effect, impressing with the breadth and depth of his understanding.
Ahmadi Muslims follow the same holy scriptures and teachings as other Muslims. The key difference is that Ahmadi Muslims believe that the Promised Messiah (also referred to as the Mahdi in some texts) of the latter days has arrived and he established the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in 1889. It is a revivalist movement that has no new religious laws or teachings as it seeks to rejuvenate the true Islam as taught by the Holy Prophet Muhammad(sa). Other Muslims are still waiting for a reformer to come.
May Allah guide us all, these people are not Muslims Before considering even entering this ‘mosque’ Please read this article https://islamqa.info/amp/en/answers/4060 And as the prophet ﷺ said: My nation will divide into 73 sects; all of them shall be in the Fire except one, and it is the Jamaa`ah; the united body upon the truth.” It was said, “Who are they, O Messenger of Allaah?” He said, “That which I and my companions are upon today.” Tirmithee Hasan
I have always felt welcomed by the community here. This masjid shows how Islam should be practised through its peaceful teachings. This is represented in the motto “Love for all hatred for none”. Many events are held in which members of all religions or none are invited. The community members engage in many charitable activities to help neighbours and the wider community. It really is an asset to Leicester, Alhamdolillah!
A wonderful mosque occupied by wonderful people. This is where you see true Islamic values of peace, tolerance and inclusivity being practiced. Welcoming to all communities and people, regardless of caste, creed, race, religion or gender. This is where you see true Islam being practiced and true and correct worship of God and his beloved prophet Muhammad, sas. Keep up the good work AMA Leicester
Thanks God, Another Ahmadiyya Mosque in Leicester city too, the most peaceful place on planet earth, always open to everyone in opening times, this is the only mosque in Leicester who welcome all people from every religion, But I am afriad, Khatam e nabowat organisation will create fake reviews as they always do in hatred of Ahmadiyya Muslims specifically in Pakistan. God bless this place ameen
Very peaceful and dynamic atmosphere. A religious environment filled with love and compassion. I believe this is what a mosque is supposed to represent. The Ahmadiyya community represents the true Islam and they practice it through their words and deeds. They spread love, compassion, and kindness which is the true Islam.
Beautiful mosque, where Muslim live by the motto love for all hatred for none. Secure and peaceful mosque to worship in for the whole family. Open for mosque tour, open day, debates and many more events. For any questions, they are always available upon request. Please don't hesitate and make your own picture.
Dear Muslims. AVOID AVOID AVOID This is not a Masjid. This is a temple and a headquarters of a group who aim to lead Muslims away from Islam. They have been created and maintained by the British government. They are not Muslims as they don't believe in the finality of prophethood of Muhammad s.a.w.
A modern mosque that is accessible to everyone, there are features within to ensure that everyone can use all facilities available. The community is very welcoming and go all out each time to make it a great experience for those visiting the mosque. An absolute pleasure to visit.
I had the good fortune of visiting the beautiful mosque 3 years ago. I found the mosque well kept and clean and we offered our namaz in congregation. The Imam was very well coming and courteous. I highly recommend for anybody to visit the mosque.
Excellent and peaceful atmosphere. Open to school visits and many more. First class in community engagement. Space for women (which you won't normally find in other mosques). I recommend for seekers of truth and everyone.
All Muslim brothers and sisters please avoid this place and do not go to pray your salah in this building as this is not a masjid but rather a Temple which is built by the non Muslim “Qadyani”.
Worshipers at this mosques portray true Islamic values of love, tolerance and true brotherhood. They believe in the unity of God and the Prophethood of of Muhammad peace be upon him.
Beautiful Mosque. This mosque is very welcoming and they often hold interfaith and peace symposiums to promote their message of Love for All and Hatred for None.
