I had a very bad experience with the Law Institute of Victoria. I was tortured in South America and rang them up (this is before the time when you chose your own lawyer and printed out your own referral) and they sent me to a lawyer cnr. William & Little Bourke Sts., Baden and Baden or something like that and it ended up the nephew of the guy that owned the business who was supposedly a law student or had just finished I saw and they say he was the same person who was there at Buenos Aires airport up there on the mezzanine floor with his wife and baby. That whole family left before the torture began and then returned about 5 or 6 a.m. Then they left and as he was leaving he came up to me and said - 'it was only a joke' It was bad for me because I had to then get myself on a plane and go to Brasilia but I managed. I wasn't a security person, or a spy or anything like that. I had tried to get help also off Slater and Gordon and both times they told me they were industry. I thought to do with something like the bacon factory here in Castlemaine, or French's Dry Cleaning business even in Healesville. The B.A. torture occurred on the night of 9th. December, 2001 and still waiting for legal help. I don't trust this Law Institute of Victoria at all really. Back in 2006 I was accepted into S.C.U. to do a Bachelor of Laws (Graduate entry) and had to give it all away (also my nursing career at R.D.H.) because of the situation, Assoc. Prof. Greta Bird was in charge of the course at the time. I am definitely sane and yet still no legal help and I am definitely telling the truth. Definitely I am not a spy or a criminal. My photo is on Corker Orchestra's website for the Christmas concert 2018, I am there in a sleeveless dress playing the clarinet, and a saxophone player is on my left and in the middle row on the left. I really do need legal help and am a nice person.

The best people to ask advice from about finding & retaining an expert accredited specialist lawyer & law firm, or just finding the closet law firm &/or lawyer to where you live, the also have on their website sections where you can provide a lawyer's name or law firm's name, to search & find them or to put in the area of legal service you require to search & find specialist lawyers & firms in that area. It's quicker than waiting on the phone but both options work well. After you find specialist lawyers name or law firm, LIV provide up to 3 priority referrals to these places including a free 30 consultation with each referral.

Useless. Im now up to 1hr 30mins trying to get an answer regarding what is fair and reasonable fees and keep getting referred to persons who have no idea why I would have been referred to them b4 they in turn refer me to other useless heads .

I was a victim of legal blackmail from Melville Lawyers and the Law society is helping me convict the rogue lawyer. Thankyou.
