I called Latty's to get my building's gas turned back on because there was a leak detected in one of the apartments and, as a precaution, Con Ed had shut off gas to the entire building. Ian came out himself to assess the job, described to me what he'd need to do, and the time frame necessary to get materials and complete the job. Within a day or two I had a quote. Latty's started a few weeks later. The job itself was pretty involved. Plumbers from Latty's came out on multiple occasions to do work, including a mandatory asbestos inspection, remove the original meters, lower the riser to meet new code, install new meter bars, valves and plumbing, check and recheck for leaks, and make tweaks to the system as required by Con Ed. They CC'd me so that I could view the updates from Con Ed as they went back and forth to ensure the work met the new city code. Throughout this, they were professional and competent. Not only the plumbers themselves, but also Latty's office support staff were helpful in completing the process and answering my questions. The end result was that the city, and then Con Ed, came out to inspect and gave the building the greenlight for gas turn on. Latty's gave me dates in advance, and a representative from them was present on each occasion. Before settling on these guys, I was in the wild for a bit trying to find plumbers who knew what they were doing. Once the job started and I saw their work, I knew the job would get done. It was a relief. I plan to call on them again for any future plumbing/HVAC needs. Latty's Plumbing gets 5 stars. Thanks, guys.

I was very impressed by the service provided by Mr Latty. After spending waaaay too much money with various other plumbers to fix my boiler. I called the boiler manufacturer which had Mr Latty listed as a repair provider (check 1). They quickly made the appt for a tech to come and assess the problem (check 2). I was told that there was a fee for the tech just to come to the home, which I thought was a bit high, but after reviewing a few places, he had the lowest fee (check 3). The tech came, repaired and was paid. Unfortunately the problem resurfaced the next day. I called Mr Latty, promptly after my call (maybe 10-15 mins, a technician was at my home, check 4). He made a reassessment and did repair at no additional cost (check 5). It's been rare to find such efficiency, ethical practice and methodical work in the past with some plumbers that I've encountered. Mr Latty was not even aware that I was pregnant and had small children in the home, which meant I needed expedited service to fix my boiler, he just showed up to do what was promised, getting the work done. Haven't had an issue since and kids are staying warm. Overall, 5 star service.

STAY AWAY!!!!!! Absolute worst plumbers you will ever hire. They replaced my floor flange 4 times in 2 months and I still had to have someone else fix it. Replaced my tub and it wobbles and isn't level. They told me it's not their responsibility, now they don't return calls or emails and I will need someone else to fix the rest of their messes. As an example of the frauds that they are, they claim to be BBB accredited on their website while BBB lists them as not BBB accredited.

My house is pretty old and the plumbing is tricky to say the least. I have tried calling other plumbers before but often the old pipes leave them stumped. I needed a repair done and decided to give Latty's a try. I'm really glad I did because they did an excellent job. They were familiar with my houses particular needs and were able to get my issue fixed in no time at all. I also thought their customer service was wonderful. I really look forward to using this company again.

I had a plumbing issue pop up on Monday morning. I called Latty's and they sent someone out by that afternoon. They were so nice and took care of everything. Their team is fantastic and so hard working. They made sure that everything was working perfectly in only a matter of house. I will be sure to reach out to them the next time I need plumbing help.

There was a leak on the domestic water line in my building, and they arrived two hours later and don't finish on time. At least when they go home, they can take a shower immediately but imagine other laborer workers who were outside sweating the whole day and still have to wait two or three hours later close to dinner time or after? Ridiculous.

Called this company, discussed my issue, even sent him images as discussed. He stated that he would call back and NEVER did. Called several times and he continued to forward my calls. If company is unable to handle the job its best to let the customer know instead of continuously forwarding the calls. Very rude and unprofessional!!!

Highly disappointed, I've sent requests for appointments via website and I've spoken twice to employees requesting an appointment and I've gotten no response. They always promise to call back but never actually do. I really thought by the reviews that they'd be more responsive, and I'm highly disappointed that they're not.

They are very horrible to work with they do not pay you properly and their checks are bouncing like rubber ball consistently there's a lot of employees that are paid under the table. I almost forgotten to mention they mess up my IRS taxes they leave you in debt or they just don't pay you for your time

I am not happy with their work I used to work for them they are very unprofessional they had me fear for my life because the people that lived in the neighborhood was not satisfied with ladies plumbing and they're forging my reviews so I will definitely report you guys

Very attentive staff. Came to house and did knowledgeable inspection plus written estimate the same day. Very professional and reasonablely priced. Haven't hired them yet so can't comment on quality of work but definitely knowledgeable and professional thus far.

This is the only company my husband and I use for our plumbing needs. I’ve been a customer for years. One of the plumbers, Mr. Terry, comes early or on time, does the work quickly, and is professional.

The plumbers at Latty's are very professional and displayed this at its highest level. They were friendly and made sure the work site was left clean. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Ian is a very fair man. He had someone came out to fix my water heater and now my Grandma has hot water. I will definitely be calling him again if anything happens. Good people
