Detective Michael Lyons was and has not been helpful from the start. It took roughly 45 days for him to return a phone call to me, he provided excuses and used words to egg on and become aggressive. He stated in a threatening and provoking voice... I want to hear you say it to my face. It was clear Detective Michael Lyons was provoking an argument or a fight....because we were on the phone and not face to face. I heard excuses... he is not my only case he was on, he was in his days off vacation and more. I have reached out to his Sargent, (Mark Menzie) with some help however he too was arrogant and was trying to play the buddy system sticking up for for Detective Michael Lyons. I am hoping I get a better response. However he gave the similar threats and was just as much an arrogant destructive detective not wanting to really help. At work he was a bully and a threat. I would never trust my safety or concerns with these 2 people in charge of a case. They are a poor excuse for Detectives and malicious at there job. August 17, 200 I will give an update. These are my opinions and thoughts of Detective Michael Lyons and Mark Menzie at the las vegas police department Summerlin. Update August 26, 31.
Just had an encounter with 3 of LVMPD's finest. The three officers were very professional and courteous. These three have the mentality of a public servant. As a taxpayer I am very pleased to know we pay the salaries of these three and if I could I would give them further responsibilities with a pay raise. The three I encountered were so naturally good at their work I dare say it is their calling. I can think of very few people who would be good police but these three deserve that title. Thank you to OFC. BURTON 8852 and OFC GRIMES 15064. The lady who photographed and documented was very nice too. I only wish I had thought to get the names of the LT. and her as well. Thank You for your service and blessings be upon you all.
