The Lancaster Court Motel is only 5km from Brisbane's CBD. Situated close to all amenities, train and bus routes, PA Hospital & shopping, it is also within minutes to all feeds to Brisbane's main freeways & transport routes. While situated on Ipswich Rd, the rooms are still quiet, access is easy, with sufficient parking for your vehicle. The rooms are clean & nicely arranged, with access to a large common area on the top floor which has a barbecue & plenty of tables & chairs. Most rooms also have West-facing balconies, with beautiful views of Mt. Cootha & gorgeous Brisbane sunsets. The pool is always clean & positioned so as to ensure it will always be cool & refreshing, even on Brisbane's hottest days. Best of all however, are the husband & wife team who manage the motel & ensure that everything is kept wonderfully clean and usable. Without making their presence overly felt, they have managed to create a community atmosphere about the motel, which is unusual outside of country motels & uncommon. In major cities. Because of this, the residents, short & long term alike, settle into their rooms quickly & when moving about the motel, exchance greetings & conversations in the most relaxed fashion. If there is anything the management can help you with, you can be assured they with do so in the most accommodating manner. They are a wonderful couple, who seem to have been born for the sole purpose of making your stay at the Lancaster Court Motel as enjoyable, as that's exactly what they do. Whether your stay is short or long term, I'm absolutely sure you'll enjoy your stay. Personally, I booked for 4 days - I have extended 7 more so far & may extend further. It's just easy to stay here & that's really nice.

From the cheery welcome we received to the fact that Pete carried our fairly heavy bags up to our rooms, we were made to feel right from the start that we were guests rather than just customers. We were given hints and tips on places to eat, where local amenities are and had the offer of a continental breakfast should we choose not to go out. The brand new mattress in our room was appreciated. Even though the motel is on busy Ipswich Rd, the double glazing in the rooms mutes the noise. Rooms are older but well appointed and very clean.

Manager, as the male half of the management duo, appears to be the mouth piece of his wife, is argumentative one day and pleasant the next. Perhaps bi polar or menopausal!! 14 days paid for but wanted more money after 12. Confusing to talk to and deal with. Raised his voice at a paying customer constantly so unable to manage his professionalism. Would not stay here again. No screen on windows so unable to cool down naturally but in fairness a fan was delivered when screen issue discussed. Traffic noise unbearable. Hot water DANGEROUSLY HOT. SCALDINGLY HOT. Toilet leaked for 2 weeks down the drain so Aussie water wasted by KIWI careless managers.

If you are looking for affordable accommodation that is clean and safe I highly recommend the Lancaster Court. This is my choice whenever I have need to visit Brisbane as it is centrally located with public transport and shops close to your door. Perfect for travellers who just need a base with the basics and a comfortable bed. Yes, it is located on a main road but I have found that the low hum of the aircon blocks out the traffic noise. The owners are always friendly and happy to provide assistance if required.

Enjoyable stay. Room was clean and pleasant smelling. Free WiFi with good speed. Parking is a bit unusual. Service was very friendly. It's right on Ipswich Rd and you may hear sirens. Not a fan of their outdoor area which permits smoking. It was within a few metres of my room and the smell was unpleasant due to people constantly smoking there.

Best hotel/motel I've stayed in, in Brisbane. Neat and tidy rooms, friendly tenants and staff. BBQ, free WiFi and swimming pool. Says foxtel but you only get 3 channels plus free to air. All round great experience and in a great location. Near plenty of take away, supermarket, op shops and public transport. About 10 minutes from cbd by bus. The manager (Ken) is a champ

We stayed here as my wife had an appointment at the PA hospital. We found the room very clean and fresh smelling, very quiet, traffic noise no worries, the Manager let us leave our car there for the day as we taxied to the hospital, which we were very grateful for. Thank you both for such great service, we would definitely stay here again, and recommend it highly.

Staff very friendly & went out of the way to assist us. Mike. the manager, used his own vehicle to take us to an electrical shop to purchase a new charger for my laptop after I misplaced the original. Not many Motel managers would do that. Thanks & well done. Rooms very clean & tidy.

Good room, very well equipped, good shower. Nice pool. Manager/owner very friendly and helpful. On main road so handy for buses or a few minutes walk to the train station. We like walking so actually walked back from the city - probably just over an hour.

Shocked at how good this motel is. We could self cater using the cutlery, toaster and microwave. Stayed one night and rebooked for two more. Yes, it is on the main road but as rural folk it was a novelty for us. Normally the possoms wake us most nights!

Pretty much what you would expect basic accommodation perched on Ipswich Rd. The room was clean, breakfast was enjoyable, the pool was wet. But the people who run this place make all the difference and really make their guests feel welcome.

Located on the corner of Ipswich rd you are welcomed with a smile. The couple that run this motel are willing to do anything they can to assist you and make sure that your stay is comfortable. The rooms are extremely well maintained clean

Very helpful and polite staff. I had to cancel my non refundable booking yet they were more than happy to change the dates. It is on the main road but has various fast food eateries surrounding it and a Woolworths within walking distance.

They let me stay even though I had no money I paid the next day love people run this place but make sure you talk to them with respect as if you don't you will pay more for real I love places that best the room price of your respect that
