This place is a ripoff, I paid for the wildcatter and according to their website it includes tire shine, rim clean, dressing on outside, air freshener, I was waiting outside but did not notice if they did all that, I thought they finished fast when they signaled me it was ready, I notice the tire were not shinning and told the guy about it and he said about basic and extra (he didn't speak English very well so I really didn't understand him) I said I paid for the wildcatter and it should be included, he said something about it's ok and he put some on, I did not smell any freshener or see any dressing on the outside I think they just gave me the basic at the wildcatter price I paid for. I had to get back to work so I didn't have time to go back, when I got back at work I pulled up my rubber mat because it was dirty and I still had dirt/ debris on my carpet, they did not take out the Honda rubber top mat to vacuum the carpet beneath it!, When I called to try to complain all I get is a recording was no option to leave voicemail, ripoff beware and pay attention to what you're getting if you go here, now I'll have to take it to another place for it to be cleaned correct.

So I have lived in Lake Highlands for many years and have raised 4 kids in this community so I try (and enjoy) supporting locally owned businesses. I have been coming to this car wash for about 20 years. Supported J. C. when he owned it. The word on J.C. was that the place was slow, but did an awesome job. Worth the wait! So I've tried to give the new ownership the same chance. I have 6 cars including my kids and I'm there all the time. I have to say that I'm about done with them now. The other reviews are right. They don't remove the mats half the time and vacuum under them. They NEVER clean the wheels. I mean how difficult is that. I always have to take my vehicle home and re-do it. Went there this morning at about 8:15 to get a jump on the busyness and gate was closed. Was told to come back at 9:00. Went back at 9:10 was told the manager wasn't there yet. I'll stop now. To the new owner, you need to get a handle on what is going on there because you can only live off of J.C.'s reputation for about so long. You'll be closed soon if it keeps going like this.

I went to get a wash last Thursday morning and got the $20 wash. I was somewhat skeptical after driving by this place multiple times because it does look a little run down. But the google review average and the fact that some of those reviews claim this is owned by a local resident convinced me to give it a try. This is not a good car wash. There were multiple areas of my car that were not clean at all (the front bumper and grill area, the rear around the license plate, and around any badging on the car, as well as a few areas on the sides). This is probably due to the old automatic wash they run it through. They didn't run it through again or attempt to clean any of it up post wash either though. The vacuum job left much to be desired and they didn't dust the dash very well. Long story short, I paid $20 for a wash on a Thursday morning, they did a junk job, I came home from work and spent an hour cleaning it myself. 2 stars because it technically came out cleaner than when I brought it in.

I will never return I spent $37 for the wildcat plus tip! Upon completion which was done near closing my SUV was half done. My car was vacuumed but without lifting rugs or moving seats . There was trash and crumbs still visible. I went to the car wash because I’m preparing to leave for my honeymoon and didn’t want to mess my nails up doing the cleaning. I had to take my vehicle to another car wash and detail it myself. I will not be returning nor recommending this car wash . I used the car wash years ago and the service has declined tremendously. I attached a few photos. I was beyond disappointed. The car air dried and was never dried with a towel, which left dirt residue all over. Sloppy half job. I also had to ask them to redo the tires and lining of the vehicle because once they pulled the vehicle in the sun you could see spots that was not done. I would avoid this car wash unless you want to redo your vehicle upon their half done completion .

Very disappointed in what used to be the “Go To” neighborhood car wash. I paid for a Luxury Wash in hopes that I would come back to a clean vehicle inside and out. This is the third time I have left utterly disappointment. Many steps missed. I think 20+ years of business has finally come to an end. I have pictured what $49 will get you at Lakehighlands Car wash RESPONSE: Thank you for responding. Unfortunately, I completely disagree with the way you responded. I paid $49 for a professional service. As a consumer, I should not have to point out the obvious details that were missed with your service. I own a small business my self and would never expect my clients to tell my employees how to do their job. Hints, utilizing a professional service for my needs vs just doing it myself. This is a training and staff management issue that needs to be addressed. I hope the best for you all

Oversized car they said, pay more money the said, clean and vacuum my car they did NOT. I have a mid sized SUV so I get reason to pay more but when I get home an notice no one vacuumed the hatch, the gear shift was still crummy and dusty and under my back seats look questionable. Oh and let's not forget I didn't get any car deodorizer (my favorite part of the whole process). The exterior made me smile and they did a good job on my rims which Lord knows they needed some help. The inside needed additional work once I got home. I've been here before and service was definitely better in the past. The restrooms where out of order for boys and girls but the facility was clean and staff was nice even had a little technical difficulty and one of the guys handled it very well. I will return hopefully they will handle me better on my next visit........

I’m really not one to post complaints but I’m pretty disappointed by the service received. We just moved to lake highlands. I made An appointment for a full detail at 2pm. When I arrived, it was obvious that he was annoyed that a full detail had been scheduled. I said I could re-schedule for another day which I did. I scheduled For 8 am. The “boss” was not there until 815. I was Told I would be notified when it was ready. By 230pm I still had not received a call. I went Back anyways and was told it had been ready for a while, but he had gotten busy and forgotten to call. Understandable, things happen. However, floor mats still were not cleaned, I had to ask this be re-done. Door jams were still dusty, there was water spots all over the vehicle. Just not what I expected For a “full detail.” Would not recommend.

Save your money. I now understand why the front desk guy was trying to find a way out of doing a hand wash on my vehicle. Its honestly the worst wash I’ve ever received. You can clearly see the areas of the vehicle that were washed, and the areas that were not washed. The hood was not even touched, only sprayed off. To make things worst, There are now scratches from being improperly washed and then dried with dirty towels leaving scratches from the dirt being pressed into the paint. Again, save your money. Pay the neighborhood kid $30 and you’ll receive a better quality wash.

I was a little disappointed in my last visit. It took over an hour, and they weren't even that busy. They spent a whole hour working on a big truck in front of my Lexus suv, then only spent about 10 minutes with my car. I had the wildcatter special, which is well over 30 dollars. I had to windex my windows after I got home and found several dirty spots on the vehicle. I'm not sure what was going on with their crew today, but clearly they missed the mark with my wash. There's a lot of car wash options in East Dallas that are cheaper and better.

Complete rip off. They crew is careless and do not pay attention to the wash process. Both of my mirrors were bent the wrong way, the common car wash practice is to close the mirrors inward so this does not happen. Missed several spots on my windows with streaks. Vacuuming last as opposed to first spreads dust so the windows in particular were dusty seconds after the wash. Stay away there are several other much better options for washing your car. Including the 10yr old on your street that will do it for $10.

I went into the Lakehighlands Carwash on yesterday and once again the crew Wowed me. My car look like I just bought it off the showroom floor when they were done cleaning the out and inside. The detail work is phenomenal. My daughter told me about the quality work these guys do and they truly impressed me. I'm sold on this place and truly suggest you bring your car here for love and care ! I also met the owner who is very personable. Thank you Lakehighlands Carwash for putting some sparkle in my life !

Decent car wash, a block or 2 from my house. I paid $30 for hand wash, in order to avoid damage to the paint of my new car. No damage, but they left several (obvious) spots. I did not walk around the car to inspect it before leaving, so you definitely will want to if you go there. Plus, they did not dry the recessed areas of the car so water streaked once I drove it away. I did a better job washing it myself in 20 minutes 2 weeks ago so I guess I'll just do that and not go back there.

This was my 4th visit here true past 6 months and I have to say it will be my last. I used to recommend this place to friends. Not sure what happened but this was the worst. The quality was abysmal. I got the $35 “Luxury” package which includes wiping down the seats. I even said I’ll pay extra to make it tip top inside. This was the worst experience I’ve had. I still need to take it to another wash or just gonna have to vacuum and wipe everything off myself.

Horrible place to wash your car. Got yelled at because I asked the employee to repeat the price again. Received my car and they didn’t even bother to wipe down the center console of my car! My 8 year old nephew cleans better than the employees! Don’t waste your money and time! You might get yelled at just because you’re asking the employees to repeat themselves even though I stated I had a hearing problem! TURN AROUND DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Not one to post complaints, but the service here has diminished considerably for the price. The last 3 times I’ve been in, the lower portion of the car is untouched and I have to ask for a towel to clean it myself to match the rest of the car…? The rims also always look untouched as well… I won’t be spending any more money here, neither should you. Bummed to not support local anymore, but left with no choice.

I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you have plenty of time on your hands. The previous owners ran a terrible car wash and I stopped coming. I’ve started coming back since it changed ownership. The wash better but they need to find a way to get you in and out faster. I’ve been here an hour and they haven’t even started. I understand places get busy but this is ridiculous. This will be my last time here.

Great service at a fair price. I saw the good reviews on Yelp and drove out of my way for a wash. I got the special and they paid the most attention to detail I’ve had in a car wash in a long time. Only piece of feedback is I was a little surprised that my small SUV counted as “oversized”, but still worth the $24 and the drive for better service. Always love supporting local!

Full service car wash. Great attention to detail. Support local business and these Lake Highlands residents. You pay outside via a hand held device, hop out of your car, and they take it from there. They spent at least 5 minutes cleaning the inside, and wiping down the outside with the Basic car wash. Took a few minutes, but the car looked great when they were done.

Cannot say enough good things about Lake Highlands Car Wash. We brought our truck in after a camping trip completely covered in dirt/dust inside and out and it is back to looking brand brand new after they detailed it. Definitely worth the money. We had such a great experience and couldn’t be more pleased with the service or results! The manager Bobby is the man!

What a waste of money! We paid for the Wildcatter, and it was a complete waste of $28! I’m furious, there was no vacuuming done whatsoever and the car was left exactly how we took it, dirty, smudges we’re left everywhere. We had to take it to another car wash and do it ourselves. Please don’t go here and spend money, you’ll regret it. The service is pathetic!

The worst car wash ever!! I took my new car for its first wash back in December (paid extra for the hand wash service) and left with terrible swirl marks and scratches all over my Porsche. The towels or mitt must have been dirty. Every time I wash my car it’s a upsetting because the scratches are so noticeable. I almost rather have a dirty car to hide it :(

Made an online appointment for a detail and it was not honored when I came to drop it off on time. Representative told me I needed to come back at a later date. What is the point of having an online booking tool if you’re not going to honor appointments? Could have at least contacted me before I made my way here. Waste of time.

Don’t waste your time and money here. I paid for the LUXURY wash and they made my truck dirtier than when I pulled up. My truck is black and they basically let it air dry, spots and smudges everywhere, windows still dirty and my rear view mirrors. My rims weren’t cleaned at all! Very unprofessional workers.

Car was still dirty, Had to call them back over to complete armor all of entire center console. Whatever cleaner they used it smells bad 2 days after wash. Have to leave windows down to air out. Dog hair still present throughout. Paid for a full service $41 dollars for a small size suv 5 seater. Total scam.

Back row floor didn’t get vacuumed, the dash still had lots of dust on it, and they did not remove the floor mats and vacuum underneath (package I bought included floor mat cleaning). They were really busy so could have just been a fluke. I’ll try once more see what happens and update this review hopefully.

Purchased a “Wildcatter Wash” that states 48-rain check on Friday, it rained Saturday and went to get it re-washed Sunday but was told it wouldn’t be honered because it didn’t “rain-rain”. Called to speak with a manager for clarification on what is considered “rain-rain” and no one answers the phones.

Awful service. They don't even take the time to clean the wheels with basic spray and a towel. I gave them a couple of chances, but I will not be going back here. I don't even think they vacuumed at all. Clean the wheels. It's not that hard. It's part of the cost!

I chose the wildcatter option and all they did was run it through the washer, lazily wiped the dash/center console, and vacuumed. There was gunk still on the rims as well as dirt around the emblems on the rear and dirt still on parts of the center console.

Horribly slow, over an hour for a basic exterior wash. I had to pull my car and leave before they vacuumed and dusted interior because I had another place to be. I’d ask for my money back but there wasn’t any staff there to help. Won’t return.

Staff has amazing attention to detail while washing, drying and cleaning all cars by hand - both exterior & interior. It's impossible to get that for $14 anywhere else nearby. Will definitely be back every time I need a thorough car wash.

Out of the multiple times I have gone only once has it been less than a one hour wait. This afternoon was over 90 minutes. I want to support a local business but at this point I’m willing to drive further for a more efficient process.

I’ve tried to like this neighborhood business at least 5 times and they come up short each and every time. For $30 is it too much to ask to have the interior actually cleaned? Expect to pay full service for exterior only.

They are great! Missed a few spots but once i kindly let them know they were more than happy to make sure I was happy with my car. They are friendly and the waiting area was clean, spacious, and air conditioned.

This service was awesome! My car looked like Royalty when finished. The manager explained the services they offered, helped me pick the one I needed and phenomenal. I’ll definitely be back for my next wash.

I paid for their Luxury package and they failed to clean a lot of the very visible interior in the rear of the van. I should have saved $40 and cleaned it myself since I have to now go over what the missed.

45 dollars for the deluxe. Spotty cleaning inside the car. My cup holders and coin holder were not cleaned. Dash board cleaned to a certain point. I have been loyal but I am going elsewhere.

This place used to be a great value and the people were nice. I dealt with a rude employee today who was bothered by my questions and didn't care if I stayed or left so I left. Forever.

They did a great job cleaning up our little CUV SUV! They used the floor mat beater to clean our very dirty mats. Prices are very reasonable too; a bargain FULL SERVICE CAR WASH!

Paid for a luxury wash however did not clean well. Left smudges and wet lines and interior was not cleaned properly nor wiped down still has dust. No scent was left in it either.

I wonder if ownership is aware that the staff closed the gates at 1:30pm on a completely sunny day while customers were pulling in attempting to get a carwash...

It was a pleasant experience but it can be very pricey compared to the car wash I normally go to. I was happy with results though so kuddos to them.
