10 years ago my mother chose La Paloma on Stephanie Rd for her cremation (she planned everything ahead and all my father and I had to do, was show up, they made my father's and my experience very peaceful. Last month, on Feb 23rd, my father passed suddenly and nothing was prepared, as an only child I had to make all the decisions no person wants to make when all you feel is pain deep in your soul after losing your loved one. After making several calls I remembered my mother's decision 10yrs ago and called La Paloma (S Fort Apache location) and spoke to Nicole, she was very understanding of my absent brain and explained everything in the most loving way making feel at ease that I was making the right decision. The young lady that picked up my father's body was very respectful and understanding of the time I needed before letting him go, she was very professional and caring-I wish I remember her name but my heart was shattered the most and I don't remember much other than her calm, understanding personality. The next day I had the pleasure to meet the kind lady I spoke to over the phone- Nicole who introduced me to the gentleman that would be in charge of my father's services-Richard, he was very professional, understanding and kind, explained everything to me and answered all of my questions most of them more than twice with so much patience making me feel understood of what, and how I wanted things done. The communication was amazing, and their service to me as a mourning daughter was exceptional from beginning to end. In the future my plan is to arrange my own services with them. My family thanks from the bottom of our hearts the compassion & sensitivity we received from the LaPaloma family. Specifically: Lori, Richard, Nicole & Joe. Due to circumstances out of our control our loved one was a missing person which added a significant amount of stress. However Lori with her very gentle approach was able to guide us through a very emotional maze. Thank you Lori! Then when we actually made the arrangements working with Richard he was very thorough. I specifically appreciated his referral to the following: an excellent florist (Eufloria Designs) & catering (Patisserie Manson); along with wonderful tri-fold remembrance & high quality poster photo by Nadia at Unique Memories. The urn selection was also comforting. In closing for the price breakpoint to the quality of service we received compared to other funeral was by far much appreciated! When my mom passed, my brother and I were so lost and had no idea what to do. We were so overwhelmed with grief from losing our other and all of the planning we had to do ourselves. We didn't know where to start. Our funeral arranger assigned to us was Nicole. She was honestly a blessing to us. She was so compassionate every step of the way and helped us tremendously. Alexa, who works the front desk and answer the phones was also very helpful throughout the process. Both ladies were so caring and treated us like family. Nicole took time out of her day to come on a Saturday (when she was not scheduled to work) to make sure everything went smoothly for my mom's service. The day of the service, everything went above and beyond my expectations. We all went home that day in peace knowing that my mom had a beautiful celebration of life service and that she was honored the way we wanted. Thanks Nicole and Alexa!

La Paloma and entire team, especially Richard were so helpful and considerate during our time of concern prior to and after the passing of our family member. It is always a tough time, having the staff and Richard able to support with questions and understanding the process was priceless. Thank you for helping to take care of so many things for our family so we did not have to worry about them in our time of celebration of life for our family. I would highly recommend La Paloma for any needs for your family and or friends. They made the hardest part of our families passing the least stressful part so that I could take care of the other things that needed to be done at that time. If I can rate higher than 5 stars I would! I am beyond grateful and blessed to have such an amazing experience with the La Paloma funeral services! From all the details, the helpful information provide & to how well I felted my sister was taken care of (in great hands). All the employees were so kind and very helpful but I would like to specially recognize Ms. Nicole LaFayette (Funeral Arranger) for going above and beyond and most importantly for always being there for me and all my family! She is extremely amazing, makes you feel loved/cared and she is always there to answer all your questions! I strongly recommend anyone that is searching for a funeral service to come to La Paloma by far the best place & great customer service!

After a close relative suddenly passed away, La Paloma in Summerlin was recommended to us by the hospice. The deceased was picked up discreetly and professionally that same evening. In a later conversation we were given the best advice and our wishes were fully addressed. They completely understood our situation due to the limited time we had left caused by the end of our vacation here. La Paloma went to great lengths to settle all the formalities as quickly as possible. In the end everything went much better than expected and we are completely satisfied.

Upon my wives passing I called LaPaloma funeral services to get a quote on prices for her cremation. My plan was to get several quotes but after talking to Nicole I was so impressed by her attitude and willingness to help I knew no more calls to anyone else would be necessary. Nicole is a great asset and I commend her highly. On the scale of 1-5 I wish I could rate her as a ten. Nicole certainly deserves as high a rating as possible. I can't express how amazing everyone at La Paloma has been since my father died. I live in a different state and Nicole has kept in constant contact via email or phone calls which has made the whole thing easier. They were patient with me while I was waiting for the autopsy report. They made sure they didn't cremate my father before I gave the OK. Everyone has been so kind and understanding. I highly recommend La Paloma , Richard and Nicole if you have a loved one that passes.

Have had a couole services for family at LaPaloma on Stephanie. This was the first one celebrated at Ft Apache and first for myself to have to make arrangements on our end. Ms Natalie was awesome. She walked us through everything and did to so in such a caring and compassionate way. Even front desk Ms Alexi was also gentle through the whole thing. Our family can't thank you enough and I know our dad would have been so pleased at the outcome. Thank you guys!

I had my aunts service today at this location and I am so happy my cousin chose this funeral home. The service was great. We had a 1 hour service with a 1 hour reception. Everything was clean and they had scentsy on that made the rooms smell amazing. I would definitely choose this place when a loved one goes to heaven. Thank La Paloma Funeral Services
