We have been buying our pet supplies here for over 9 years. Today was the last time. We always try and support our local small businesses. But with the consistently terrible customer service today was it. I understand the pick up at the front door due to COVID. I have actually done it 2 times at your location. When I tried to call over 9 times i decided to drive to the location, which is no big deal being only a mile away. When I arrived and had to knock on the window as a gentleman sitting a foot from the front door. when I knocked on the window he simply stood up looked at me and walked away while taking pictures on his phone. Then when someone did finally come to the door, I was told that I needed to call. When I told someone that I had called 9 times they rudely told me that they had not missed a call. Which I had called again from my car when I arrived. Upon finally receiving service, the help was anything but appreciative.

New to town and out of pet food, I did a quick google search hoping to find any local business to support rather than the big chains. With a few around in the area, I chose Kirkwood because I read they had a self service grooming station and my boy was in major need of a scrub. I stayed because, after hearing that Arlo was having feeding issues, I was walked through different kinds of options and what would work best. I was given countless samples and happily bought the biggest bag of the one recommended! Came home with a clean, fluffy pup that gobbled up his food without issue for the first time in weeks! I won’t go anywhere else!

Ours was a shelter rescue dog that we immediately wanted to give comfort, affirmation and love. The food and training snack recommendations from the pet store were broad yet still helpful. 3 1/2 weeks in our dog is enjoying and seemingly thriving from both suggestions. The groomers--O...M...G... Our dog came out smelling and looking like a million bucks! Her coat literally glowed in the sunlight! It was obvious she'd enjoyed her experience. We will be trying the daycare next. Hoping for similar positive results. Convenient destination for all your dog's needs!

Helpful staff -- they helped me pick the best food for my growing pup without breaking the bank. It's a small store but filled lots of great items. They also suggested a knuckle bone for my teething/gnaw hungry doggie and he loved it. If you're like me and it's 7pm when you realized "OH GEEZE. I forgot to get dog food." Just plan for their MF 10am - 7pm hours. But this might not apply because you're probably a better planner than me.

Wonderful facility. This is one of the few locally-owned pet stores that has reasonable prices. The service is absolutely incredible. The cashier yesterday afternoon was very kind and courteous. We came for the self-service dog wash. It was very easy to use. Lots of shampoo options. They provided many brushes, towels, and other cleaning accessories. Even aprons and a blow dryer. Really enjoyed the experience.

Love this place the ppl are super friendly and I can always find what I need i can't remember the cashier's name but she's the pretty and super friendly one but she is great always helping me and even going the extra mile most times can't get better pet care quality from anywhere but here and there is a dog boarding house next door so very very knowledgeable about dogs in the area awesome store

I have been buying my pet tags (plastic and collars) from Kirkwood Feed & Seed Pet Supply since 2006 or 2007. I've never had to replace one because it wasn't legible or had worn too much. My service dog's new collar tags looks beautiful. I'm so glad that this business is still open and making all of my pet tags!

We take our Doodle there for daycare and we love the staff and over all feel. We also had our dog groomed there for the first time and Twain did a fantastic job! We are pretty picky about her grooming and were super happy with the results and price. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!!!

Great store. Shopped here a few times and brought my dog recently to use their self-serve dog wash stations. He gets nervous about baths, but was so good and seemed to feel more relaxed in the space! We’ll definitely be back.

Shelves were mostly empty. Nothing has a price tag so I was surprised when I was told that a $15 bag of dog food came to $25 at the register. Don’t expect anyone to help you other than a pointed gesture of where to look.

This pet store is special to the neighborhood. Great selection of foods for a wide variety of animals. Dogs, chickens, cats, and more. Dog baths in the back make bathing our big Lowman so easy. Thanks KF&S!

Shelves were very empty. Looked like maybe you needed to order in advance and pick up or something? They had less than 5 types of cat food on the shelves. Provides a ton of services for dogs, though.

The staff goes out of their way to help find the right item for your pet and brings it to the car for you. The owner cares about her team and the community. I highly recommend this small business !!

Charming and friendly little place. They didn’t have game bird feed but carried chicken feed and other goodies that I was able to bring home for my cat and dogs.

This is a great place for specialty food and treats for animals. They carry Natural Balance L.I.T. products for my dog. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
