September 2022: The place is decent. They have no menus though so You have to look at your phone. Not convenient if you don’t have. The service was alright. Laid back. And chill Kyle was a decent server. I ordered their main course chicken with mash potato and veggies. Their veggies were small portions and their chicken was cooked well. Only thing missing was gravy but it’s not on the menu. It was around 29.20 which is quite expensive for me. It’s a not the best buts it’s decent to say the least. I would recommend it but for now I’m indifferent. I ate at this restaurant in September 2021. I think Jay and the other owner are doing a good job at maintaining this restaurant well. The restaurant is confusing and a little hard to find it is your first time and the restaurant is small than most. The dine in is not that bad. Just be careful of the black hanging lights because if the tables are rotated around you might hurt your head. I ordered their goat curry and it was delicious nothing to complain about the their curry. The waiter we had was nice and funny as well. I enjoyed their food and I will pass by when I'm craving this restaurant.

This place is a hidden gem considering that there are no other bars north of the highway. Shawn is the best bartender ever, always there, best-mixed drinks, and great conversation... I mean if you're looking to have a good time at St Charles there are no other options. On top of amazing prices, there's authentic South Asian cuisine, and this is coming from an Indian. If you want to enjoy a bar vibe in this area, you have no choice but to come here and you'll be 100% satisfied. Prices are great, service is great, location is great, this is the best bar in a 10km radius.

It's a very tiny place, food was average for a bar. I ordered chicken fingers, they were homemade but also so dry and overcooked. It said it came with two sauces. I asked for BBQ and Ranch, ranch wasn't listed an option, but they charged me and extra 2.00 for it. At least give me two BBQ's then, or tell me it's gonna be an upcharge. The fries were greasy overall, but tasted good. Had to ask for waters with the meal. Service was nice but slow, no one checks up if you need anything else, refills etc after they drop the plates. I wouldn't go back except maybe two have a drink on the patio in the summer. I wouldn't go here for a meal besides appetizers The bathroom was nice but only one, so expect to wait your turn.

November 2023: came here for drinks and apps. Mojito wasn't bad, old fashioned was perfectly strong, espresso martini had Bailey's in it (it was tasty, but definitely unusual), the whiskey sour was terrible. They ran out of the vodka for cocktails then said they would charge more for the cocktails if they used a different vodka. Aside from that service was pleasant and attentive. Bonda were tasty balls of potato curry. Beef rolls were crisp but barely had any beef in them, mostly potatoes. Fried cheese curds were perfect. August 2023: Showed up on a Monday because Google and their website said it was open but they had a sign saying they were closed Monday when we got there.

My boyfriend and I thought it would be nice to have a drink at the Kirkland resto bar. We sat down and the waitress asked what we wanted to drink. As soon as we finished drinking the two drinks, we asked for the bill. she then gave us a mini menu explaining that we had to pay by law for food with our purchase. She did not inform us before. It was very unexpected and we felt it was inconsiderate of them to not explain to us as soon as we sat down. We ended up spending 4 dollars extra for a piece of broken chicken finger. Unfortunately due to the lack of of information that the waitress and the owner gave us we will rate this place only one star. I have been to this resto bar many times and the food was excellent and the service was alright but this is unacceptable.

Very nice place to grab a quick bite or a drink with friends. As the employees explained, this is a restaurant after all; thus, all customers must buy some sort of food and not only drinks. However, they have a little menu of appetizers that are both cheap and delicious which is great. This place also has a decent selection of beer from blonde to dark. The food isn’t bad at all and the service is on point. Staff is friendly and professional. The interior atmosphere is cozy, clean and well laid out with many TVs if you follow sports. Would definitely recommend this place for everyone local or even residing further away to come check it out with their friends.

Went for a Friday night and found out they also have live music every week (Fridays or Saturdays) which was such an added bonus for us! The food was DELICIOUS, the prices pretty reasonable for the size of the portions and the staff is very professional and friendly. We sat outside and the vibe was so nice! I absolutely recommend this place for a good time and great food!

We were given some b.s. BBQ menu where every option was tiny and too expensive. The regular menu was not available. Very disappointed. A tiny BBQ menu without any drinks came up to 95$ for a family of 6, who were still starving afterwards. $5 corn. 10$ hot dog. Coleslaw from a container spooned onto the plate as a side. Paper plates! Not cool, not was I was expecting at all.

We needed a reservation for a group of 5-10 in a less busy part of the restaurant. Jay and his staff took care of our small group and got us just what we needed. Andii took our drink and meal orders, and we appreciated her cheerful efficiency. The place has a modern decor, and though the hockey game was on the staff didn't crank the volume up like most bars would, permitting us to hold a conversation at our table. The meals were well done. I liked that you could specify how hot you want your curry. General consensus in our group was that we'll be back.

My first day in Canada and I stumbled upon Kirkland Resto bar after a long day of travel and shopping to prepare for a two week camping trip. Jay was my server and I asked him what he recommended and he said the butter chicken. Having never had it, and ready for new experiences, I ordered it. It was fantastic. The vegetables were fresh and crisp and the chicken had just the right amount of heat. Jay provided excellent service and made me feel welcome and appreciated. I hope to come back before I fly back to Florida in two weeks.

People people. You don't go there for seafood or steak so stop complaining about it. It's pub grub. This pub has a really nice intimacy to it. Feels like home. Menu is limited but very good food. We sometimes share as it's a lot of food. Price is decent - medium ranged. If you want to penny pinch... go fast food. Great service. Terrace is nice in the Summer. If you have a large group, you would need to rsvp in advance as space is limited. Our little West Island gem. Great for a first date. Love this place!!

The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff is very friendly. During shutdown this place has been an amazing change from the usual pizza delivery orders. I love the eclectic menu and it's always nice to try something new from their menu. This is one of the best places to eat in the West Island. The fish and chips are always made fresh, the curries are super awesome, and I always try at least one new thing from their menu that I haven't tried before. I have never been disappointed. Good job guys!

A Wednesday dinner with good long time friends and we decided to try a different locale ...well...what a gem ! Lovely laid back neighborhood "hang out" that WILL be one of the top on our list of "let's go to..." Wonderful team, excellent cuisine, best wings EVER, pizzas superb, fantastic fish and chips...bravo for giving us a 5 on 5 star evening experience, creating memories and a new dining adventure ...."Cheers" on the West Island ...where's Norm??

I went with my family for breakfast. We placed our order and it 15 minutes before they stop breakfast our waiter told us. About 10 miuntes later he came out and apologized that they are not going to make breakfast. I called Jay the owner over and explained to him we placed our order 15 minutes prior to the end of breakfast. Then he told me that they ran out. How can a resteraunt run out of eggs bacon and bread. Lost a good customer Jay.

Nice little bar with a lot of regular, im used to a wider selection of beer choice but it was a very nice spot, people were nice and the ambiance very welcoming

Decided to visit this resto for the first time because my friend Pete Dawgs was the live entertainment tonight. What a little gem. As my wife and I were seated the bartender waved at me as if he knew me. His name was Kyle and he became our waiter. He was so professional and attentive. Great service. My wife had the special and I had a curry dish. Fabulous portion and great price. Beer was ice cold. We will be back

Amazing service. I mean the food gets to your table fast AND it's amazing. Try the calamari with the Chipotle sauce, it's easily in my top 3 calamari dishes ever. The burger was also delicious. The beer selection is decent. Didn't get to sample their cocktails or hard drinks yet. No patio or live band yet but it's coming soon. Will definitely come back as I had an amazing first impression. A huge shout out to Kirkland Resto Bar. My wife and I had enjoyed immensely the BBQ burger platter and the Kirkland chicken platter. From the pleasant and attentive serving waitress to the open air terrace with giant screen TV no less (Euro soccer) it was a great lunching experience. Amazing to say the least!! P.s Sorry everyone just too good for taking pics, you have to experience it to enjoy it.

Absolutely horrid chef, with nothing to show for their experience in cooking. A friend and I both got the steak meal and asked to have it medium rare. His was severely overcooked and mine was raw. Additionally, this place is cheap with their nacho ingredients. They're so hesitant with the cheese too and that's the most important ingredient. I'm not going back to this place again.

Great little place for dinner. Conveniently located. Food was really good. Service was a little slow (it's possible things got backed up in the kitchen) but our waiter made up for it with lots of enthusiasm. A little on the expensive side for what it is, but doable.

Great sports bar atmosphere. Went just after the lunch time rush on a Saturday, so we were the only ones in the restaurant. We were greeted and served in a very attentive and friendly manner. Extensive menu with standard pub fare. Nachos were well dressed. Fries are great. Fish N Chips and onion rings batter were a bit chewy rather than fluffy, but all good taste.

My first time there and I totally loved the place!! So friendly, service was excellent and the food was great. We shared the beef rolls and samosa's. I had the chicken curry (excellent) my mom had fish and chips which was really good as well. Mom said that it was only missing coleslaw. We will be going back so that we can try some of their delicious food.

Had the steak with a side salad and clam chowder. Chowder was not good. Not the worst I've had, but definitely bottom tier. It felt and tasted watery with chunks of bland potatoes. Steak was very average. Not particularly well seasoned but the cook was done correctly to order. Would look elsewhere for a meal. I would not recommend this place to eat.

I'm in love. Found a jewel of a pub (they call it a resto bar, but this is more the feel of a good Ole pub) in an area where it was sorely lacking. They have hit it dead on with tasty food, good portion sizes, the right price and awesome service. This isn't a question of am I coming back, but how many times can I come back in a week...

I came in for the opening and we spent 600$ between 5 people. I went back and had asked for a small Salad, the waiter charged me for a large salad. When I had told him the situation , he argued with me and did not want to change it. The staff member was rude and not appropriate.

Tasteful and classy place. My waiter was a pro and the owner came by to check in to make sure every thing was good. More importantly, is the food. I ordered a medium steak, and it came in better than I could have cooked it myself. I'll be back. Cheers mates, thank you.

Really nice local bar. The staff is super friendly. They still make you buy food in order to sell you a drink. They have delicious options at very reasonable prices though. The beer specials are worth it if you're either today or a group.

Cozy and friendly and ego-free! Love this place. Wonderful menu full of choices. Service is great...we bring our 2 kids often and they love it too. Also they have big screens setup on their terrace to watch games! Highly recommend.

The good was good, really good in fact. Prices were right, and the place has a great cozy feel. It is smaller, so big groups beware, but for a small get together, planned or on the fly, great choice.

What a great experience! Hidden away North of the 40. Menu has great variety. My party ordered everything from seared tuna , pasta to spicy curries. Ali is an exceptional server!
