This is an old school Dallas drinking club, which offers memberships on arrival. It's a bit of a dive, but they serve Weller bourbon and ice cold Shiner Bock in beer coozies. The bartenders, Becky and Lynn were as sweet as can be, and the typical Texas crowd didn't seem to mind at all a bunch of stoned Kentucky yankees dropping in to watch the UK game.

Definitely a dive bar and that's what we were looking for! Pool tables are only $1. Clean restrooms. Lots of regulars but there was still room to sit at the bar. Bottle beer. And regular decent prices. The only thing I could complain about was, it was very dark in the bar. Overall its a great dive bar.

So I came in this bar totally random,wow!! The people were AMAZING so cool and welcoming. It has the atmosphere of a dive bar but the fellowship of a Christian tent revival. Between the shuffleboard,darts and the personable bartender I felt as if I was born here. 10/10 recommended.

Absolutely love the atmosphere here the bartender's were quick to accommodate me and my wife with ice cold beverages and a decent priced shot . Calm , laid-back very socialable customers. I highly recommend King's X if you want a calm place to have a beer and a laugh

Great little dive bar that has upped their game lately with new owners and a younger crowd. It used to only be regulars but lately they have been packed and things are looking up. I personally been going there over 20 years. Kudos to the new owners.

4 stars for a surprisingly fun neighborhood dive bar! Loved the bar staff! Friendly, engaging, great service, fun to chat. Cool games that you havent seen in years, good music selection on jukebox. Cool late night spot. Check it out!

Love this dive bar. Kinda sketchy in the parking lot but once inside you're transported into a cool place where they play grateful dead. lol

This bar is super chill and def has one of those hole in the way bar type vibes its almost even hard to find unless you really look for it

Enjoyed our time at this bar! The bartender was super friendly and we even had home-made pimento cheese sandwich for free!! Good vibes!
