Don’t go here unless you want to be taken advantage of. I went there today to buy a 2008 Chrysler 300. It only books out at $7200 and that’s high end. They are asking $9850 for a car that’s only worth $7200. They told me they could only come down to $8500 for a car that is only worth $7200. And I was planning on trading in my car which is a 2014 so it is six years newer and my car books out at $12000. They offered to only pay off my car which is $9000 so I would have immediately lost $3000 on my car, and then paid $1300 more than their Chrysler 300 is worth. So all and all I would have lost $4300 right off the bat. When I refused they turned me away. As soon as they realized that I had knowledge and knew my stuff and they werent going to be able to take advantage of me they refused to work with me and told me to leave. They will only work with you if they can take advantage of you. Furthermore they lied to me multiple times. I have the apps for all three major credit bureaus on my phone. All three have my credit score in the 700’s the “manager” told the salesman that when he ran my credit that my credit score is only 630 which is a lie. I even showed the salesman my credit scores on all three apps. Also I told them that I would only finance through my credit union. And the manager told the salesman that he sent it to my credit union and my credit union came back and said that they would only approve me if I put $3000 down. As soon as I left I called my credit union and they said that not only did the dealership not send them anything but nobody at my credit union told them I needed to put $3000 down. So not only are they crooks but they are liars too. The salesman I was working with was very nice. He even pulled me aside privately and told me that they were trying to take advantage of me. It’s the manager there that is a knucklehead. And to top it off I lost 9 points on my credit today. So all in all I didn’t even buy a car from them and they still managed to take advantage of me. What an absolute rip off. Do not ever go here! They are crooks!!!

Don’t we all have bad experiences at service centers? Mine with Ken Garff downtown was just baffling. I took my car in for an oil change and to get the catalytic converter replaced on the day before Christmas Eve, which probably was my first mistake. They told me it would probably take all day and asked if they could keep it over the weekend if it needed longer. I told them no, that it was Christmas weekend and my family lived in another county, if it needed to be there longer or wait for parts, I wanted the car back and I would bring it first thing Monday morning. Friday came to a close and two hours before closing time I still hadn’t heard a word from these people. I decided to call myself and no one would answer the phone at the service center until there was 20 min to closing and they told me sorry, all the technicians were gone by then and my car was taken apart in their garage, so I couldn’t get it back. No offer of a loaner or any sort of help after promising my car back for the Christmas weekend. Come Monday and still not a single person contacted me for an update on my vehicle. Tuesday came and I finally decided to call them again and someone working there told me that there was something much more major wrong with my car than the catalytic converter and that’s the only update they had. Wednesday came and someone finally called and said it actually was the catalytic converter and it would be finished in an hour for me to come get. Why was my vehicle there 6 days for? I’m still not sure. Why would no one answer the phone and then when they did they had conflicting information? Lack of communication. To top it all off, I finally was able to go pick it up and when I did my car was dirtier than I had left it. They used no mat on the floor so it was covered in mud and someone working here had eaten popcorn (?) in my front seat and gotten it all over. Thank you Ken Garff for your poor customer service and for having a little snack in my vehicle, making a mess that I will now have to go clean. What a joke this was.

Classic scummy shady car salesmen. The engine to our Hyundai Santa Fe broke due to Hyundai problems and so we were forced to replace our car without much time to shop around. I went into this dealership at 9am and wasn't able to get a deal made to leave until 3pm. At that point I was starving and so tired to make a good decision which i'm sure they planned for. I test drove the car I wanted and found out that the odometer was wrong by 8,000 miles from their listing. I mentioned this and asked to change the price to reflect the mileage and they said they couldn't do anything. They try to squeeze every cent out of you and promise they don't make commissions and will lose money on the deal if they go any lower. My sales consultant Breidan Holland was extremely unprofessional. I asked to get new tires and windshield wipers added into the deal because both were awful and rather than including them in the price, they added it to the total and even overcharged me for them. They charged me $400 to buff the hood which I canceled afterwards and Breidan tried to convince me that I only paid $100 for it and would only get $100 back. A week later I tried texting and emailing Breidan to see if he could get me a receipt of what tires and wipers were added so I could plan on when they would need to be replaced and three months later he still won't respond. Finally hours after filling out the paperwork they took me back to do the financing and again they took advantage of my fatigue and used confusing terms to sell me extremely overpriced insurance packages which I got refunds for a week later after taking the time to read the contracts. They even told me I was getting a "friends/family discount" after I told them I didn't want any insurance. They smile and act very kind while behind the scenes they are ripping you off and the second you are out the door they go cold and no longer "care about you" as a customer. I would not recommend anybody to ever do business here.

DID NO WORK AND DAMAGED MY CAR! I would give zero stars if I could. I made an appointment a month in advance and left my car with them for five days to perform several services, which I specified and understood in great detail, knowing that they'd have to perform another diagnostic but that I was giving ample time based on the diagnostic I had done a few weeks before. After following up for four days after dropping my car off, I was still never given a quote. I called multiple times and was sworn at and yelled at by Paul for asking them to send me a quote, and eventually to just forget it because it was now less than 24 hours from when we had agreed for me to pick up the car and there was no way that the work would be done in time. I didn't want my car to be in the middle of a service when I needed it back. After the first time that I was hung up on, I called them back with my older brother present, and Jason answered and took him a lot more seriously, but eventually he asked "are you an attorney" and when he responded with "why would you ask that question?" he hung up immediately. I had to call the next morning between flights back to Salt Lake, when I was helped by Daniel, and he was very cooperative and agreed to have my car ready when I got there. I tried to get through to Tony, the manager, several times with no response. HERE IS THE KICKER! When I picked my car up there were 90 more miles on it than when I left AND a new chip on the windshield. I am considering a lawsuit.

Our Sales guy David Suljic (and Tim) was great. He was attentive and helpful. The rest of the dealership was so so. We didn't feel like the managers were "hearing us". They tried to charge a ridiculous amount for some extras that we didn't ask for (and were already on the used car). When we asked for a discount, they "Threw In" those items to make us feel like they gave us something. They did give us $1000 off of the $53K car. So I guess they heard us a little bit. They added their oil change package and insisted that we had to purchase it. It's not a horrible deal, but I would rather choose whether to purchase such things. We also waited for a very long time to get into the finance office. For some reason they only had one guy on a Saturday. We spent over 8 hours at the dealership. We love our car! We loved David! But the rest wasn't the best experience we have had at a dealership. We would probably go back if they had a car we really liked, but we wouldn't go out of our way to patronize them again.

I have had the worst experience purchasing a vehicle here. I was totally ripped off.. I bought a vehicle in June, they messed up on my financing.. Some how I had three different contracts that messed up my first payment. How that happened, that’s a great question. The finance company sent me all three with different dates. I only had the vehicle for barley 4 months and it is completely broken down. It’s been in their Mercedes dealership for over a month now with no status update. I call multiple times with no return phone call as my car just sits there. No loaner car or anything, not to mention I have three little kids. Then I go to refinance it with my credit union and the vehicle has lost value of $9,000 in just four months and my credit Union is telling me they ripped me off on all financing. I talked to the manager and all he said is yes, it devalues which I get but $9000.00 in four months doesn’t make sense at all. Seriously be aware. Save yourself trouble and really do your research.

We had a great car buying experience with David (sales) and John (finance). David answered more questions than any sales person ever. John was so good to us with paperwork and our kids running around his office while we signed. Would I say we got a killer deal in terms of price? no. But cars are expensive right now. That part would have been the same at any dealership. However, what we did get is excellent customer service. They worked all of our paperwork up while we took our kids home for nap and when we got back to the dealership it was a relatively quick process to close. The 5 stars was earned when, after buying the car, we misunderstood some of its features and came back. A sales person and the service manager came out to explain the parts and features. Their patience and respectful attitude towards me was so helpful. The questions we had were erroneous and they could have made me feel like an idiot but they treated me with dignity and I really appreciate it. Thanks Garff Hyundai!

Took my car in for a scheduled service appointment. Paul mansplaned things to me and did not listen. Told me an oil change person could not take care of my headlight issue. I said that is why I made an appointment detailing my issue. Said car would be done by Noon. No call. Called at 4 something pm. Come get car. Did not rotate my tires. Nail in front left tire, still in left front tire. Not sure oil was changed either, won't answer that question. Told Paul to let them know not to touch cabin air filter. Pulled it and sat it in the engine compartment. We have purchased and service several cars at this location. Not impressed with the handling of this issue. Diagnosed the light, it was exactly what I said the problem was. According to the dash light. Love those billboards with the big ears, we hear you. They will not respond to me. They don't hear me.

Of the 6 cars my wife and I have purchased through this dealership this will be the last. The loan requires a gps tracker to be installed (plad tech) which they charged me 900$ to setup. After the loan is complete I will then have to pay an extra amount to have it removed. (This was never required on the previous 5 cars) Not only is this a slap to the face for a privacy violation. But they then charged ME to have it installed and for the service. And will now place the removal fee on me as well. Which this is just a wonderful experience after surviving a car crash which totaled my previous blue santa fe (mind you blue santa fes no longer exist apparently) The sales guy was great everything else is downhill from there.

  • Nicky Stauffer

Best sales crew ever!! We have been looking for a truck for two weeks and seen so many sketchy dealers and junk trucks that we were promised were great. Waisted valuable time and it made the buying experience horrible. I dreaded going to look at a truck almost daily. This crew here are awesome. I couldn't recommend them more. They made the experience good and were so kind. I ended up with the truck I wanted and had the best experience. We highly recommend this dealership. We had Giovanny as our salesman and he was perfect, I couldn't be more pleased. Then his sales team were just as wonderful. Great overall experience. We will definitely be recommending this dealership and team.

Horrible customer service and wait times. I went in person to get an estimate for body damage. I was told they only see people on an appointment basis, since their techs only come in on certain days. I made an appointment for the following week and showed up on time. The same guy (JOE STUBBS) I scheduled my appointment with told me it would be a 2hr wait time. I asked what the appointment was for, and he said "it is already 10AM, the techs have been here since 8AM so there are people ahead of me." What's the point of showing up for an appointment? Totally misleading and the rep was super rude. Lastly, they informed me the diagnostic test was $160. This was never mentioned.

I’ve never been someone who’s felt the need to leave a review on anything since it never seemed too important to me but the experience I had with the service team here has been awful. They do not follow up when they say they will, I was spoken to like a child, I was never given a clean answer on the problem with my vehicle. My vehicle has been unusable for 2 MONTHS. When they did return the car to me, they made the problem worse than before which makes it impossible to repair then tried to tell me “it’s not bad, you made it seem worse than it actually is.” This whole experience has been an emotional rollercoaster that I did not need. Please don’t go here for your service.

I understand changing your EV chargers from being free to costing to charge because you guys deserve to be making money on it too. But jacking up the price to $1/KW and $1/minute, instead of the typical 10-30¢/kw and only charging time after the charge is completed that most other chargers in the area are costing is extremely shady. At that rate it would cost me approximately $120 to charge my car one time, approx $14.60 per gallon compared to a 30 mpg car. It would seem that going from a completely free charger to costing this extreme amount is a shady way to try to make a quick extra hundred dollars on everybody that doesn't notice right off the bat.

  • Jaeyeon Park

Tim from Sales and Laura from service are fantastic. Shout out to them. They are efficient, professional, and KIND. But the rest of service department needs some serious customer training. No follow ups. No ownership. They will make an "unofficial" appointment with you cuz they say they are booked out then take a day off on the day you have an appointment with them. Or quit. Literally quit. And my car is left there for days with nobody following up with me. Part ordering takes 2 months. From California. Would've taken longer if I hadn't checked in. Very unprofessional group of people who need better management and leadership.

I don't even want to give one star! I bought the car Chevy Malibu 2018 from them. The manager Luis and the sales guy promised me they would fix any problems with the battery if it happened when I bought it. Yesterday they said I need to change the new battery. The service provider, Paul, said he can't help me with that and they didn't work anymore so he can't do anything for that. They didn't even care about their responsibility for customers. They just took my money $190 for diagnosing my car. What a shame Ken Garff Hyundai! Don't buy the card from them. They all will lie to you to purchase their broken cars.

  • Katrina Grates

Went in and spent about 20 mins looking at one particular car in the showroom - it would have been an easy commission for any salesperson because we knew what we wanted, and we were ready to buy it right there. Unfortunately, 20 minutes passed and not a single hello, hi, hey, how are you, have you been helped? ... not from the receptionist or either of the 2 sales men with no customers in front of or on the phones with them... The absolute lack of initial acknowledgment made us worry about what the long-term customer relationship would be like, so we left.

  • Jake Altizer

Everyone knows dealerships are prone to overcharging customer, but dear lord this place is bad. Had a serpentine belt and belt tensioner go out on my girlfriend's car. They wanted $1,200 dollars to fix it. Their quote included 4 hours of labor at $160 per hour. Guess what? I paid $168.78 for parts online and replaced the damaged parts in 47 minutes (yes, I really timed it out of spite). That was a month ago. The car is running perfectly. Do NOT trust these guys. I suppose the term "stealership" is warranted after all. At least at this "dealership".

  • Adrian Strecker

Jason C in sales was very helpful, communicative, responds quickly, kind, listens and was proactive in helping us even when we constantly kept changing our minds. We have used this service team before and had no issues with our previous new Hyundai Tucson. As sad as we were to see it go, Jason was reassuring and helped us see the advantage of going to the IONIQ5. He reached out to us to inform us of price drops and was not negative when we explained we looked elsewhere. We are excited to get our next car in a few years from here!

  • Gerardl Mora Ramírez

When your buying a car here they’re really nice, everything change when you came to the “SERVICE” section; I come here and told them that my car needs a service and he said “I have more than 100 services I don’t know what service you need” they’re not nice there. I’ve been asking for a problem in my car 3 times and they just don’t do anything about it. Like, I don’t know anything about cars if I need a service you should go en check my car to know what type o service I need. That’s it you don’t have to make fun of me!

  • Daniel Godby

These guys are Phenomenal. I was driving a 2017 Nissan Sentra S. The basic model. It was so small for me. That being said, I needed a bigger car. Greg Huff the car Salesman was fantastic to work with, they got me a car that I didn’t think was possible. Pouyan the Finance manager is great. He explained everything I needed to know, and more. I highly recommend Greg Huff as the car salesman and Pouyan as a finance manager. Such great people. I will be returning in the future. :). Such a great dealership.

Ken Graff Hyundai downtown is the worst dealership that i’ve experienced in Utah. One of the dealers (her name was Laola) was so rude to me. I know negotiation process is sometimes not easy but it does not mean the dealer can be rude to me. And they always make me wait at least 30 minutes and didnt show up even though i made appointments. If possible, don’t make the deal here, i could get a better offer from other dealership and they are very polite to me. Worst dealership ever. Don’t recommend

  • Mary Katherine Best

Breidan Holland is amazing! He came highly recommended from a colleague, and after working with him to lease a car, I know why he came so highly recommended. His customer service was excellent. He was helpful, responsive to all my questions, and super professional and polite. He worked hard to get me into my car of choice before I ever even went to the dealership. He was knowledgeable and fun to work with! Ask for Breidan when you are ready to get a car!

  • Ashley Poole

(SALES) Braiden in sales was so helpful and patient with me! Even though I didn’t end up buying a car from him, he was so professional and kind about it! He really pulled a lot of strings to try and help get me the right car! I can’t recommend him enough! The facility is way nice, just sometimes difficult to find parking because they have a lot of inventory and it’s downtown. Overall: great experience, professional sales team, clean facility.

  • Felipe Rospirski

I'm happy for all the attention that sales agent Lola gave me. We worked for many months until I could make the decision to buy a car. She was always so attentive, and she always responded to my messages. She worked tirelessly with management so we could get a good deal. Furthermore, if you speak English, Spanish or Portuguese she can also help you. I will be a client of Lola for more business in the future. Exceeded my expectations.

  • John Casselbury

Bought a 2023 Tuscon, had to replace the transmission at 4000 miles. Had to return the car 3 times to have transmission shift cable fixed, the bracket for the exhaust reattached and they did not put all the bolts and clips back on the inner finders, one on the right side fell out had to replace with new When i got it home the right side was not complete fixed it myself. I will never go back to Ken Graff

  • Ode

The service/oil change portion was awesome! But, how cheap is this... after the service they give me a coupon for a "Mr Hot shine car Wash". I proceeded the car wash and I noticed that there's no "Hot shine* or anything provided with this car wash. My car looked better before it went through the car wash. I would have rather just had the dealership sprayed off with a garden hose.

  • Addie Morgan

Terrible communication and customer service. My car has been here getting fixed for an entire month now and every time we call they say they will call back and never do. I live several hours away from the dealership and was relying on the car being done so it can get picked up before school starts again. After calling them several times it’s not done. Extremely disappointing.

  • Cheyenne Pendley

Esiah and David (manager I’m pretty sure) were so attentive and listened to my concerns and even offered me alternatives. They made sure the car I bought included everything I wanted and was looking for! Amazing customer service and they were extremely patient and professional. I will be returning for any purchases I make in the future! 10/10 would recommend!

  • Melody Griffiths

Their Service Advisor, Joe Stubbs, always takes great care of me whenever I go to this Dealership Service Center! He is so friendly and attentive with all of my needs and always takes the time to address any questions that I have from my vehicle purchase to any warranty or service questions. They are lucky to have him at this Dealership!

  • David Lott

Tim was fantastic! If you are able to work with him, just do it! My entire experience at the dealership was great. Everyone was friendly and kind. Tim's follow-up was great...not too much, not too little. I let him know what I wanted and he called when he had something. I highly recommend Tim and Ken Garff Hyundai.

  • Hannah Rockwell

Takes advantage of buyers. Guilty of sneaky bundling and poor customer service. Manipulative and condescending sales techniques. Tried to sell a near salvaged title by their own admission without proper discounting and transparency. This dealership definitely keeps the slimy car salesman stereotype alive.

  • Thaddaeus

These guys started out rough. There was a lot of miscommunication between the service counter and the shop for the first 9 days they had my car. Joe was the rockstar employee who fixed that issue. So once they got my car into the shop it was in and out the same day. I am happy with the work they did.

  • Maxwell's Unearthly (FireFleye Supernatural)

You absolutely have to talk to Breidan when you come in this place! From start to finish he made my vehicle dream become a reality by finding a price that I could agree to and be happy with, thank you for all the help you, I love my vehicle, I'm still in awe, such a great car.

  • Mary Ellen Donaldson

I walked in and was treated extremely well . I had a car in mind and they had just the one I wanted. No pressure for addons. The finance department helped guide me to the warranty best suited for my wallet and needs.

  • Matt Bethune

Had a GREAT experience with Royce at Ken Garff Hyundai Downtown. If you're looking for someone who explains things in detail, is friendly, a great listener, and knows the vehicle inside and out, go ask for Royce!

  • Aaron Zahler

Good experience very helpful staff. Questions or concerns were attended too quickly. We tryed another dealership and could not get as good a deal as I got here. Royce was an awesome salesman to work with.

  • Colton Burton

Breidan was the best car salesman I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I never considered going to Ken Garff downtown but I don't forsee me ever going to another dealership! Awesome experience

  • Karine McOmie

Ken Garf Hyundai service department is the best! I always have a positive experience when taking the car in for maintenance. I take advantage of their "Advantage Plan" to keep my car running great.

  • Zachary Loftin

Shamim and Jason Creech are outstanding. Honestly the fastest most professional purchase with a dealership I have ever had. If you are in the market for a new vehicle these are the guys to go to!

  • Travis Kuddes

Recently bought a vehicle from Ken Garff Hyundai Downtown. Giovanny was awesome to work with. John in finance was amazing as well. One of the best car buying experiences I’ve ever had.
