I recently bought a single house, and when I finally got my keys on closing day, the key for the rear terrace was nowhere to be found. I immediately informed my agent Todd and his assistant Gina, fully expecting swift action. But, after an unbelievable two-week wait, all I got was an email address of the seller's agent with a message to deal with it myself. Moreover, they had the audacity to claim that providing me with the missing key wasn't their responsibility. I signed up with my agent expecting full service and assistance, not this sort of negligence and disregard. After merely moving my belongings in, I had to travel overseas without even fully settling. Upon my return, I've faced multiple issues with the house. I was faced with malfunctioning appliances and a bathtub leakage that required me to tear down the entire ceiling of the garage for repairs. Additionally, I later learned that the legal fees charged by the attorney your agent recommended were significantly higher than the average rates in Ontario. As a first-time homebuyer, I accept I might not have been aware of every detail, but I believe it's also an agent's duty to ensure their clients aren't taken advantage of and are guided towards reasonable prices. Their absence of assistance, even with prior knowledge of my situation, was both surprising and disappointing. Rather than extending a helping hand, your agent chose to cut off communication with me. Although we didn't sign any formal agreement for post-purchase support, I was led to believe they would be available for assistance. But it seems once the transaction concluded and their commission secured, their commitment to me ended. If this is the level of "service" your firm provides, it's seriously lacking. I expected clear, continuous, and professional help. Frankly, unless there's a drastic change, I'm skeptical about ever dealing with any of your agents again.
I emailed them to book a showing for a property I was interested in renting and was told I should send my documents first so that I can book a showing, I sent them all my documents the next day, Mohamed Mostafa their sales rep thanked me and sent me a time for the showing. Throughout all of our emails I asked them if the property is subject to government rent control, and my question was ignored three times. The last time I asked him he said he doesn’t know what I mean by that? So I sent him a link to explain what rent control means lol (common sense if you live in Ontario you know properties built after Nov 2018, or properties that are fully renovated may not follow the guidelines and that’s why so many people these days are getting crazy rent increases they can’t afford) long story short, the moment I sent him the link that explains what rent control is and repeated my question Mohamed Mostafa replied within 10seconds and said the Landlord has rejected our application and canceled the showing (yea right) Unprofessional behavior and lack of knowledge or deliberate ignorance of my question made this an overall bad experience. Wouldn’t recommend working with them.
I purchased a single home through agents Todd Lavigne and his assistant Gina Kim. On the closing day, when we received the keys, we realized that the terrace key was missing. I immediately informed the agent, but they advised me to wait and report all issues together. Eventually, his secretary Gina suggested to contact the seller's realtor directly to resolve this. Subsequently, they blocked all forms of contact with our entire family. Not long after buying the house, I faced issues with malfunctioning appliances and a leaking bathtub, which necessitated tearing down the entire ceiling of the garage for repairs Additionally, they had advertised a 0.25% rebate on the purchase price, which I have not received either. You can find information about the rebate at the following link. http://ottawakorean.ca/forums/buyandsell/?mod=document&uid=4349 About a month ago, one of my family member commented about this issue, but we haven't received any response.
We had used Anne Winch’s services to sell our property. She was not forthcoming, advised us not to fix our damaged roof, and put pressure to sell. Anne Winch did not have the seller’s best interest in mind. The day before closing we spoke over the phone and she hung up before the end of the conversation, as she knew the deal was done. She also did not organize our payment which we were to receive. Throughout the entire process with Anne Winch, we had to continuously ask questions as they were not provided to us, request clarification because the information she did provide was very unclear. Anne Winch demonstrated unprofessional conduct and a lack of competency in the field of real estate. Would not recommend Anne Winch’s services. For the person that responded to this post, please provide contact information and I will be happy to discuss further.
Saw a lovely rental my girlfriend and I were very excited about on kijiji. The two of us sent numerous messages, only to get a response 2 weeks later, just 3 days before a potential move in date. What’s worse upon finally getting a response, they offered a 1 hour viewing window less than 24 hours away. Upon attempting to be accommodating we were met with a stonewall of discourteous and disingenuous messages from Alexandra, refusing to reschedule even slightly, high-roading us about how busy they were. Entire thing was very unpleasant. Hope they learn how to treat potential tenants better we were very disappointed.
Kevin was fantastic to deal with when we bought our most recent home. We met him when he showed us one of his listings and he seemed extremely energetic, knowledgeable and a hard worker so decided to work with him as our agent because we were impressed. Kevin was available day or night, including weekends and was very responsive to my emails. He continues to be very helpful after the fact by staying in touch and providing real estate advice and simply checking in. I would absolutely recommend Kevin John to anyone looking to buy or sell their home.
As an established Ottawa Real Estate agent in the business since 2011, I have to say this is the nicest, most efficient, empowering office atmosphere I have had the privilege of joining in 2019. The owners, management, trainers, administrative staff and colleagues hold true to their name - INTEGRITY. Respect for staff and attention to client care is of the utmost importance. These amazing practices filter down to our clients and the community as a whole. It allows us to provide real estate services with exceptional outcomes.
Adam Keith assisted us with the purchase of our first home and we could not be happier with the high level of service that he provided! He guided us step by step and ensured that everything went off without a hitch. From the mortgage broker and lawyer he recommended to him checking-in with us after we had moved-in, everything was perfect.
Kevin was great, did so much research for us on the different properties we were looking at, when ever we had questions. for helping us sell, he did such a great job for us, couln't ask for a better experiance. he's got such an eye for marketing properties we had offers sooner then we expected. even our dog started to warm up to him.
A wonderful experience selling a property with Frances Ebbrell and Kevin John! They put together a great video highlighting the property's potential and included some wonderful ideas for possible investment opportunities. They knew the market and area and helped find the perfect buyer for our property. Highly recommend! Thanks again!
KW Integrity has a great work environment and the leadership takes amazingly care of their agents and staff which directly translates into our ability to provide excellent client services.
Spoofing a California number to try to find out if we want to sell our home? incredible and to think of it quite deplorable. Is this the new marketing tool for real estate?
I have dealt with Caroline Risi from Keller Williams and she is first class all the way. Great experience and really nice office building.
No respect for private property. I give these guys 0 for environment respect. A bad shop for 2019 society. Big no no.
