First of all - outdated pics on the property. When we saw the Citi Peak property online it looked amazing and didn't mention that someone had taken a hammer to the ensuite because it was leaking so had an unsightly hole in the tiles behind the toilet seat! So when we viewed the landlord & JF representative said the ensuite would be fixed prior to moving in 6-7 months ago! The day we got our keys the apartment hadn't been cleaned after it had a new carpet put down - the old carpet was in a pile in the kitchen & the bathrooms hadn't been cleaned & their was mold everywhere!!! I immediately took the keys back - they apologised & postponed our moving in date by a week - which you know when your swapping apartments you don't really allow for extra days but hey thanks for the inconvenience - as I'd already packed some of my stuff I had to drive round with a full car all week! Gets worse, moving in day there was still mold so they had to bleach that while I was in one day and paint the horrid ensuite after they replaced the broken tiles with a cheap lino version that didn't even fit the decor. We started noticing condensation & the previous tenant had give us a heads up in a letter after she'd left the apartment that she left the dehumidifier for us as we'd need it in winter - no one told us that on viewing the apartment! One day I woke up and the carpet in the bedroom was soaked through by the ensuite - JF sent out a plumber immediately to fix (I was impressed) he resealed everything in the ensuite (although we'd never actually used the shower or toilet in there at that point because it didn't look appealing with its rusted radiator & lino tile) a couple of weeks later the leak happened again - this time we informed JF by numerous phone calls and emails & it wasn't until about a month & a half down the line did they send someone to inspect - who after pulling off the unsightly lino tile said the job was bigger than him & left after 20mins leaving us with a hole in the wall! another plumber was sent about 2-3 weeks later who said the same! And then another came out to switch the water off for the toilet in the ensuite & drain it - that was about 2-3 weeks ago and now we've heard nothing back and still have a hole in the wall to the cistern and mold all over the flat even though the dehumidifier is on almost 24/7 (it shuts off when it's full) anyhow numerous emails later and JF still haven't got back to us and the mold has fur - avoid! Bad comms, they don't care about their tenants & I definitely wouldn't recommend or let or buy through them in the future! Just like to point out this apartment is over £800 a month and is a disgrace, seen much better for cheaper & they probably get back to you faster and take action!

I would never usually go out of my way to spread bad word about a business, but considering how difficult and stressful the Jordan Fishwick organisation made the year of residency at one of their properties (and even afterwards), I feel like their poor service and bad attitude deserves the attention. I lived in a flat on Mauldeth Road West where we had two big problems: one was a wasp infestation that took WEEKS of phone calls and emails to get anything done about it. The second was a potential hazard involving my bedroom window (which was on the top floor of the building) falling apart and I couldn't open it because the wooden pane holding one of the glass panes was loosening from the whole frame - so the glass pane was weighing it down; it could have come loose any moment and fallen four-stories onto someone if they had just been underneath at the time. I know it would have been unlikely anyone would be there WHEN the moment came, but it was a risk I couldn't take, and so I had to keep my window shut for the last 9+ months of my contract, which was painful during the summer of 2014. No amount of emails or calls ever got this fixed. The landlord turned up once, had a look around, said he'd get someone to measure the windows and never got any further than that, despite me trying to chase the Jordan Fishwick branch for months before giving up. To add insult to injury, the staff incessantly hound you with emails, calls and voicemails if they need something. I can understand if certain things need to be done, but considering how they barely acknowledged anything I'd tell them and then talk down to me when they wanted something, it made me angry. Also, just another thing, I thought that since the contract ended, the debit for rent would automatically cancel, and I wasn't told until two months after I left. The first time they took it out, I got a refund and figured it had been a simple mistake. It was only the second time I was told. The only positive thing I could actually say about this company was that they were fairly quick giving refunds; even if they did make me overdrawn twice. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone. If you see a nice property under their management, don't do it, because you will find dealing with them a horrible experience. You can tell other people have felt the same by their reviews on here. Terrible.

“Flawless service” Jordan Fishwick in Didsbury have just sold our house and provided a first class service. Richard Jones and his team are simply the best in Didsbury. They were very quick, efficient and helpful at all times and, with Richard’s experience and pleasant manner, all queries raised by our buyer were handled smoothly. They gave us a very honest and reasonable valuation initially and then put the house on the market within approximately 48 hours of taking photographs. They then organised between 10 and 20 viewings within a few days of the house going on the market. When offers were received (within a day or so of the viewings), they gave us very sensible advice. The whole process was then completed flawlessly without any hitches or issues at any stage. Richard and his team also represented the vendors when we bought the house that we have just sold – so we have experience of them in that capacity too and again they were extremely pleasant, honest and efficient to deal with at all times. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jordan Fishwick in Didsbury. They are first rate estate agents - trustworthy, experienced, pleasant to deal with and efficient. Top marks!

Fantastic from start to finish. What we liked about Jordan Fishwick from the start is that they weren't too 'estate agent-y'! Richard came to do a valuation on our property and was realistic from the outset which is something we appreciated - other agents were just a bit pushy and promising us the world. Once we put our house up for sale with JF, we were handed over to Gary to look after things and he was just brilliant. Around 10 viewings were arranged within a matter of 24 hours and it just kicked on from there - we had a raft of (great!) offers within a week and a half. Gary left mid-way through the process which was a bit of a worry as he had been so thorough but we needn't have been fussed as Dan picked the sale up absolutely seamlessly. I was pleasantly surprised as even with the best will in the world sometimes things slip but not on this occasion. We then had a few sticky moments getting over the line but Dan guided us really well with excellent communication and information. We're not planning on moving anytime soon, but we will without doubt be using Jordan Fishwick to handle our next sale. Thoroughly recommend them to anybody.

Selling my husbands family home after my mother in laws death was always going to be a difficult & emotional time. Richard made the whole process so much easier. From the moment Richard originally visited to give us a valuation for probate until after completion he has shown us empathy & compassion. When he first visited the house was in an awful condition & in need of full renovation. He visited again half way through the renovations and offered his advice. We had to have 3 valuations before putting the house on the market, 2 of the agents wanted to put it on the market below market value and not have any viewings for the first 2 weeks. They then talked about dropping the price after another 2 weeks if no offers. Richard valued the house higher than the others and had numerous viewings booked within a couple of hours of being on the market. We ended up with multiple offers above asking price. The house was sold after 1 week. We were kept informed every step of the way. We can't thank Richard & his team enough for all their hard work.

I have just sold my property through Jordan Fishwick &, tending to have bad experiences with (other) estate agents in the past I have to say how impressed I have been with the whole process. Communication has been seamless throughout, never has a call not been answered or email not responded to - when Andrew hasn’t been available his colleagues have always been forthcoming with any support or info I need, or if not I’ve had my calls promptly returned - not something I’ve experienced with other agencies! It should be noted also, prior to my personal circumstances changing & deciding to sell, I had originally planned to let the property through them - for this Stephen & his team lined up a significant number of viewings in a record time, before my cancelling them & deciding to sell, which they dealt with in extremely good grace. My partner and I recently purchased our house through this branch and were extremely impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of all of the staff we dealt with. Absolutely brilliant service and support from Richard and his superb team in Didsbury: professional, responsive, conscientious and always on top of things - and an absolute pleasure to work with!

Pros: generally responsive and courteous. Cons: implied landlord would remove items, which the landlord then refused to remove. Needed to chase up a couple of times about returning the deposit.

From start to finish, Richard and Andrew were friendly, helpful and responsive and took some of the inevitable stress out of the whole process of selling. I would highly recommend this branch.

Perhaps we caught them on an off day! Not very organised charged for things we did under the guise of an admin charge which they should have have done and prepared before hand. Pushy staff !
