Working with Drew and Ja-Mar Roofing was... a dream. I'm a first time homebuyer that thought it would be fun to buy a 1930s fixer upper. I wantttt to say that the roof wasn't the original (surely not, right?), but it might as well have been for the shape it was in. I had heard good things about Ja-Mar, and contacted them to come and take a look. Drew came within 24 hours I think, and I live out in Taylor. He provided photos, aerial views, and a detailed description of what the issues were and what needed to be done. The pricing estimate was definitely competitive, and it was an easy choice to go with them. Drew was my point of contact through the whole process with the scheduling, my million questions, timeline, updates, financing for my deductible, etc. He also worked with my insurance company after I filed my initial claim, so all I really had to do throughout the entire process was e-sign my contract and move my car out of the driveway for the supplies/equipment. His team arrived on time and were incredibly thorough. They even had a backup plan in case it started to rain; it was on the forecast, but Texas weather is, as you probably know, incredibly unpredictable. Rather than push out the project, they had a plan to work in sections to make sure that everything would be safe/dry if it did start to rain. I have a 1900 sq ft house plus a detached garage (both with extensive damage). I assumed this would take at least a few days, as I've seen smaller homes in my neighborhood being worked on for longer than a day. Imagine my surprise when they were finished and cleaning up by 6pm same-day! I literally gasped when I saw the final product, and gave them a round of applause because I couldn't think of a more appropriate response. I knew how important a roof was to the function of a home, but I didn't realize how much it would transform the look of it. I feel like I have a brand new house now. SO incredibly thankful for Drew, Amalio, and the rest of their team!!!

When my insurance company told me my roof had “expired” and had to be replaced or my coverage would be cancelled, I had to get up to speed fast on roofing! I asked friends & neighbors for recommendations from their experiences & reached out to 3 companies for quotes, JaMar being one. After deciding to go with them, Ken had my roof replacement scheduled within a week & promptly advised me when weather caused a slight delay. The crew who came out did a great job with the roof & cleaning up everything after the process & had it all finished in one day by about 4:00. Ken is a hard working man & even came out on Sunday to see the new roof & make sure I was happy with it. I would 100% recommend Ken Kelly & JaMar Roofing for your roofing needs!

My friend recommended Ja-Mar Roofing & Sheet Metal to us because she had a good experience with Ja-Mar in the past. We had just endured a hail storm that was for the record books. Our entire neighborhood was hit with hail measuring up to 4” in diameter. It caused so much damage that we didn’t know where to begin. We called Ja-Mar as she suggested and their representative, Ken Kelly, came out to our house the next day. We were surprised at how fast they came to our aid because everyone was calling roofers/ contractors at the same time. Ken sat down with us and told us that he would have Ja-Mar inspectors assess the damage. They came and found quite significantly more damage to our home than our insurance company had. Ken submitted this information to our insurance, they acquiesced and increased our damage assessment by $20,000 more. With this new assessment in hand Ken acted as a General Manger and procured the shingles we wanted, scheduled the roofing installation, contacted his painter, oversaw the restaining of our fence and scheduled a solar panel company to replace and install new panels for us. The hail storm was record-breaking but Ken Kelly and Ja-Mar were record-setting in meeting all of our hail damage needs. We couldn’t be more satisfied and just like my friend we are now recommending Ja-Mar to all of our friends and neighbors.

After my house sustained hail storm damage back in September, I was left with the daunting task of getting roof estimates. I received four different estimates, and I must say, the first three experiences were quite discouraging. Hail damage sucks. My house was beaten and bruised by the affliction known as Texas. Good news is that people like Drew and Rudy exist to ensure that the entire roof replacement is done with quality in mind. Drew and I had been speaking for a number of weeks going over design, planning, options, add ons and costs. You know what he didn’t ask? He didn’t ask me what my insurance payout was, or whether my payout was good enough to even upgrade my roof. Instead, he approached me with a best offer, something that most of the roofing companies I contacted never did. I was convinced that most roofing companies are just insurance companies who do roofing installs on the side. Instead JaMar roofing is, at its core, a superior roofing company who treated me like a customer rather than an insurance paycheck. Drew outlined everything for me and I easily accepted them to do the work. Come install day, I am introduced to Rudy who is the foreman for the job. He was amazing to work with and even offered to do extra work, such as putting up my permanent Christmas lights without asking for anything in return. The install crew worked all day and were the hardest workers I have ever seen. Everything done as promised and exceeded my expectations even more. I chose Ja-Mar for my insurance claim which I found really confusing but these guys made it all make sense and helped me get my head around the claims terminology. Ken Kelly came out to my house promptly did an inspection and got back to me pronto with the estimate. After getting through the insurance part, the team came out and replaced my whole roof in under 4 hours!!! They did an amazing clean up afterwards, you wouldn't even know they'd been there. Kimberly in finance was really helpful too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them if you need a new roof or repairs and if it's an insurance claim and you find it a bit daunting and confusing like me, don't worry, Ken was ready to explain everything when my insurance company made my head explode with all their calculations. Gage, with Ja-Mar Roofing, is an excellent sales person who has been in the roofing industry for a while, and so he knows what he’s talking about. He took care of all the insurance paperwork without a hitch. I appreciate the attention to detail that Gage provided us. He is polite and respectful and thoroughly goes over everything with you. Gage answered our phone calls without fail, and if for some reason he was unable to answer, he called back immediately. I have to say I am absolutely amazed at the thoroughness of the cleanup. I did not see one shred of evidence that the roofers had been at the house except for the new roof. There was no debris left on the ground! The cleanup was perfect. Thank you for a job well done.

We decided to work with Ja-Mar after consulting with about 4-5 different roofers. We have an older home in NW Hills and were going with a metal roof. Drew was on time, very helpful and informative during his initial visit and ultimately gave us one of the more competitive bids. Although it wasn't the outright cheapest, we felt that the price and quality ratio was perfect with Drew's bid. I got 3 quotes to have my roof replaced. Out of those 3, Ja-Mar roofing stood out because of their salesperson Drew. From the original quote to the final installation, he was so helpful and thorough. He helped me navigate the insurance company and got me the most bang for my buck. The installation was quick and their clean-up was great. One neighbor was concerned when another neighbors roofing company did not clean-up well and they had nails and roof remnants in their yard. Ja-Mar was very responsive to my need to coordinate a roofer with our plumber to make penetrations in our roof for exhaust fans and other ducts, as well as some local repairs.
