Joke of a school. Their motto is a zero tolerance of bullying however, all the students are clowns running around. Some of their students have been involved in stabbings and robbery in past times. The people who keep their heads down aren't supported or recognised. They bang on about Mo Farrah being their biggest achievement but they do little to recognise all the other greats who have passed through their system. Even Mo's experience was terrible. Just because you do well at sport, it doesn't mean you should be forgotten about in all the other aspects of learning and the school could do with being more comprehensive in their educational approaches. It's the modern day so why is schooling here still carried out like it's the 50's? All the teachers with a strong moral compass seemed to have left because of the upper management vision. My son was shown a DVD of American history X by a sadistic english teacher. Bear in mind he was only 14 and the film is a strong x rated 18+. It's unnecessary and scarred him for life because there was no context to why it was being shown. When it was playing, the male english teacher just sat in the corner smirking to himself. They seem to churn out half baked idiots that are obsessed with football hooliganism and they fuel this backward ego driven culture of modern day rebels. Their Tech departments used to be some of the best but again due to lack of not controlling the rebel students, children's projects will be vandalised and trashed. Honestly if you want to save time just check out a different school because you won't get what you want here.

(Speaking as a previous student) Amazing establishment, teachers and facility period. I can genuinely speak on behalf of myself and the majority of my entire form from the early 2000's, that this school helped to shape us into better men. I find it shocking seeing any negative feedback made about the school, facilities or teachers at this school. The school was always a positive guide to moulding young men into the best possible human beings they could ever be. Weather your skill was academic, creative arts, or sports, Isleworth teachers would always give a supportive and personal helping hand to all students. Of course we all know 'Mo Farah attended the school and became one of the greatest Athletes Globally of all time. This motivates students and shows the power of good guidance and motivation. Years later myself and other colleagues still return to the school to work with students and host motivational talks. There will always be students who do not see eye to eye with teachers, but it was the teachers prerogative to show the value of respecting your elders and speaking in the correct manor when addressing a mentor. (I still find myself calling my teachers by their title and surname even in my late 20's) I earned very good grades at the end of my term at Syon and If I could go back in time, I would attend this school all over again and push myself even harder to achieve.

To give this school even 1 star is too much of a complement I studied at this school for over 5 years and can safely say that not only was the worst 5 years of my life but the WORST SCHOOL IN THE HOUNSLOW BOROUGH. The teachers failed to properly deal with problems such as bullying , I was racially insulted on a daily basis and the school did not deal with the situation properly people always use to call me a snitch for going to a place called pastoral care. The students who were bad on a daily basis got the best treatment as they were never even yelled at or punished for the bad things that they did whereas once i got suspended from school for defending myself from a bully. To all parents who read this Please do not send your child to this school as there are better schools and the people at Isleworth and Syon are cruel hearted evil people who enjoy bullying people. At Isleworth and Syon bullying is a major thing that the school cannot deal with. I am ashamed to say i went to Isleworth and Syon I HATE THIS SCHOOL AND I ALWAYS WILL

From my experience at this school currently it is a disgrace to all Schools. For example, when at the cantine you are met with a wastage of food as people get pushed around leading to them dropping the food they were currently holding. Furthermore, you will still get punished even if you are a victim of bullying, they teach you in assemblies to stand up for each other but if you do all you get in return is something like a yellow card (15 min detention) or a negative. In addition, they will scold you for having 5 negatives even if you have up to 700 positives. At last, they have a rule that if your device is seen, heard or used they will confiscate it thus taking it away, I suppose they think this will affect the child to push themselves more in studies but this just changes their attitude to learning and hate the teachers actions some of my peers even left this school for being such a disgrace. Be better, I&S.

This school is a disgrace. They set unrealistic standards for their students while never addressing their mental health and happiness. They have no anti bullying policy and do nothing to discourage bullying and racism or help the victims. The food is cheap and has little to no nutrients, half of the student populous is suffering from anemia in what almost feels like a direct insult towards students who rely on school lunches because of reasons out of their control. Don’t ever send your kids to this oppressive school.

My experience of this school isn't good. Bullying goes unchallenged. Very stuck in their ways, very old fashioned way of dealing with bully's (they don't). Maybe they pride themselves on the traditional way of doing things but you are not doing your students any justice by not helping those who are being bullied. Shame as some of the teachers were lovely spolit by a lack of leadership from the senior staff.

This school has the expectation of a animal treated without human rights such as bullying tollerance and behaviour and righty’s such as haircuts no style ONLY SIMPLE BLADE 2 I have been leafy speechless please to not attend this school unless our sons human rights are free I hope the headteacher sees this I am left in a vomited situation of rules plz change

If your child has any kind of mental health/medical needs do not even consider this school. My child here 3 years and then became dual register for over a year after having to attend somewhere to meet his needs, in all that time I had one phone call to see how he's doing. To this school your child is just a number on their books.

Mo Farah said it was brilliant, I think it's brilliant. Location is great, right next to Great West Road. I love the views outside my classrooms of the construction site, very attractive and doesn't distract me. The floor is good to walk on and lighting is spot on. No negative points to be thought of currently

  • Bella Virdee

I felt this school made my son feel like a failure. There was no encouragement if you do not sit like a muppet it is not acceptable. All about fitting into the school criteria tick list. Extremely disappointed parent who’s child has excelled in another institution!

This is such a racist school! I am telling you don't ever go to this school! The stupid teachers like spending more time on negative things rather than positive. By that I mean they like to be more negative then positive! Do not go to this stupid racist school

  • ZakSSJ

Worst place you could bring your children. Please do yourself and your children a favour and just don't even bother applying for this school. I have full experience and I can say with a honest opinion it's the worst school i've been to in my life.

  • Muhammad El Mohamady

Don't send your children to this school, it is hard to imagine how some of the teachers here became qualified to teach, I went here after being sold the dream of a specialist sports school, the levels of sport were appalling.

  • El Trapo

Just don’t go here. I could write paragraphs on end telling you why but please to save my time just listen to me. Don’t go here. It’s basically prison. No joke. Wallahi I ain’t lying.
