It has taken me almost 2 years to finally have the strength to write this review. We entrusted the mosque with my mother's janaza and I cannot explain enough just how terrible, uncaring and disrespectful the whole process was. this is not a mosque but a factory. Firstly; we were treated with the utmost lack of care or sensitivity; everything was rushed. we had been very clear that we wanted to wash my mother's body but at some point they came in and told us she was ready to be carried to the car to transfer to the cemetery. we said but we were waiting to be called for the washing, they acted as if they had not realized that so blatantly lying and then dismissed it just as they dismissed the rest. They just said oh well anyway we didn't have time, the ladies did it that's it. seriously another thing that struck me as odd was that there was a family in the room who just lost their father, and were grieving and comforting each other around the defunct's body and we were told given we waited in the hallway to just go inside that room and wait there, it'll be more comfortable and we wouldn't be obstructing the hallway. we said that we did not feel comfortable interrupting that family's very private and sad moment. the tone; the way they handle things and the family during one of the most sensitive and vulnerable moments in their lives says A LOT about the people who were there that day if not to generalize about the general management. The women (us, her daughters) were also prevented from being close to the coffin while my mother was laid to rest; i know for a fact this is not common practice. if i could give this place a zero i would; I am really confused as to how any of the way that day went could qualify as islamic. i would have expected that these people; also at the price you pay, would have just some humanity to try and make it a little less painful, alas i left with a heart filled with sadness and anger. I regret our choice so much and yet nothing can change the experience.

Assalamulaikum, My mom's Janaza took place here yesterday and I am utterly disappointed by the way the keepers treated us. Not only were they rude but they treated us like we were animals. On arrival they were upset that we arrived 30 min early, and was vulgar in pointing it out. Everything was rushed. The mosque has no clear signs of entry for men and women yet when people walked in they literally yelled at them.. No formation or markers were placed for covid regulations yet they expected people to maintain a distance when this is an unrealistic expectation for a funeral gathering. When asked if they have a women's section to pray they said they didn't and did not direct me any where else. Moreover during my mom's Janazah prayer he recited Allahu Akbar 4 times and that's pretty much it.... everyone was lost and my mom's prayer was pretty much disregarded... May Allah keep her well. They then pushed us to scramble us out for the next funeral. I am gravely disappointed with the discrimination and the ill behavior. I had also pointed it out very gently that this was not the way to treat people, and to be more sensible. He in turn gave me attitude as if I was not cooperating and seemed like he was filled with anger.. yet all I was asking that he be kinder and treat everyone with respect just the way we were treating him especially inside of a mosque. The prayer area is also very ill maintained. If management is worried about covid I have not seen any hand sanitizer or markers on the floor for safe distancing. No measures were taken yet they did not hesitate to treat people so badly. May Allah guide us all and make use of constructive criticism. Our city relies on this mosque for when times are tough and when times are good. I make regular donations... especially because both my parents have now been rest to peace. But I was disheartened to come here and be treated so poorly. May Allah forgive us

Personnellement ainsi que mon cher mari, nous serons entierements, dévoués , reconnaissants a ce merveilleux être. Qui nous a tant aidés, et si bien accueillie. Et cela depuis plusieurs années et a ce jour . Il n'oubli jamais de m'envoyer son salem et ses respects via mon mari . Allah soubhanou sera toujours avec vous honorable Imam. Comme vous avez étiez toujours auprès de nous et des diminués. Seul Allah soubhanou sera vous récompensé pour toute votre générosité envers notre couple. Unfortunately we did not have a pleasant experience in this mosque. The mosque architecture is beautiful and the people that we met were nice. However, our interactions from the Imam have been distant and we felt an underlying judgement and negativity after we presented our case to him. He is understandably very busy leading a congregation but being inaccessible after numerous phone calls and messages borders on the unprofessional. His methodology is very traditional (which isn't necessarily always a bad thing) but he didn't give us an opportunity to learn and discuss which is something we look for in a religious leader. In any case, jazakom allah kolla kheir, but we will definitely be looking at another mosque is that is more welcoming to everyone, and where we can learn and grown in our iman.

Asalamalaikom, I've been attending ICQ since 2007, and it hasn't changed much, except by a few bricks in an empty space, my god masjid Rawdah has made more improvements in a smaller course of time - This construction at icq, just seems to get worse. It was better before the addition was made. You know, it is important to understand as an Ummah ( community ) - that if something on the outside is appearing wrong for so long - it is because there is something wrong internally. I find it very suspicious. We blindly attend a masjid and see its condition and not have a slightest worry about the people running it. Open your eyes people. Its the house of Allah.

Currently the mosque is still under renovation. Prayers are on time, and the mosque is very clean.May allah accept our prayers and grant us jannah. First Mosque in Montreal. Serving Muslims in Quebec since 1958. Beautiful dome and minaret. The architecture is world class. The nikah was delivered in bilingual (french and English). The young Imam knows 5 languages (Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, French and English). Welcoming staff. Covid-19 guidelines followed. for Friday prayer, many volunteers helping out to efficiently coordinate. Donation receipt mailed on time. Construction is picking up.

This masjid is an amazing place. The staffs are very professional and understand each person/family point of interaction and cater to their need, been flexible, open minded and provides excellent level of support and guidance. We experienced their overwhelming support during funeral arrangements and they went above and beyond to support our family. Their services is outstanding and the best I have ever seen. Allah’s blessing and Thank you!

Lors de l'enterrement de mon beau frère, un administrateur tunisien a été d'une arrogance pourrie, mal éduquée et non courtois pour un sous. Un service minable avec un enterrement administré par un minable. Tu paies et par la suite tu attends plus qu’une année pour gazonner la tombe. Faites attention posez des questions il ne te dit rien du tout. L'argent n'a couleur ni religion seulement une saveur pour les pirates

Un centre bien entretenu avec une grande belle mosquée, vous trouverez tout les services nécessaires à la communauté, vous pouvez faire le contrat de mariage là bas et ils acheminent la procédure aux autorités canadiennes. Remerciement à tout le personnel qui s'occupe au développement de ce centre. Remarque : pas de rampe pour les personnes en chaise roulante.

l call to get an Islamic certificate to prove my religion for my marriage , he made me lose at least 2h to reach him after he send me to another place to get it , in fact when we don't want to do something, just say l don't want to do it ,don't create something is not in our sharia to avoid doing it . el shahada is enough , no witnesses needed to prove it .

One of the most horrible experiences of my life was to bury my father via this centre in 2016. All they cared about was the payment for burial and made so many mistakes on all the paper work. I would not recommend this place to anyone living or dead.

The architectural of this Mosque is very nice but no body is maintaining it. You can find dirt every where they are asking money for renovations since long but didn’t do any thing, even they didn’t bother to just paint this mosque.

The brother’s make it feel so great, I live in hochelaga area in Montreal but come Friday prayer I only want to go to this mosque Mashallah it allows me to recharge my battery with Allah and Muslim umma. …

June 28th , Eiid namaz . The imam did not show up for the 5h30 and 7h30 jamath. The miss management there is just insane. They have no backup for the important day. What a shame.
