How can you honestly advise your Burgers are better when they are the worst and overpriced Burgers in the whole fast food change. Dined into your store tonight and ordered one of your chicken burgers you advertise on TV it took 10 minutes for them to complete my order after it was sitting aside with other orders when I finally got my order I unwrapped it and the Burger looked like it was made 2 hours ago and very undersized not like what is advertised on Tv and your promotional stands. I returned the Burger immediately and asked for a refund because I couldn’t event take one bit out of it what a Rip off $10.30 wouldn’t even give this to my Dog. After I sat down and finished my Fries and Coke I wanted to order a dessert but the staff where too busy having a good old chat I even overheard one of the Managers swearing in conversation to the other the both had their back turned towards me and prep staff saw the line up of people waiting to be served and said nothing about front counter service. This Hungry Jacks store needs a huge overhaul in staff training and better preparation in food I will never come back to this store again. Worst Service Ever. Hope this review helps others.

Originally I stated a few years ago in a review that this was "the best HJ's in my opinion." This opinion thankfully hasn't changed, aside from a disappointing renovation turning it into more of a generic HJs, when it used to look like an old diner, the quality and customer service has thankfully stayed top notch and well presented.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I havnt been to HJ taringa for a long time and won't be going back!! The whoppers looked like they were thrown together by a 2 year old. No pickles on either, a piece of onion on 1 burger, none on the 2nd and the content of the burgers a third of the size shown in the photos on the website. What a disgrace!! The manager should be ashamed of the lack of quality control and standard of food at this store. I see by other reviews this seems to be the poor standard the Taringa store is happy with providing and continuing to do so, not striving to improve from the customer feedback given!! Take a look at how your Queen Street store prepares the food, you could certainly learn alot. Overpriced for what you get. Oh and the chips were half full, had to ask staff member to top up both servings. Mc Donald's is so much better quality for price!!

I do not personally eat from these stores, however I did visit for a family member. As with most Hungry Jacks, has a large selection of main meals, deserts and beverages. Good size parking area, very well lit and a drive thru option available. This store was very clean and has a cool 1950s Diner style decor inside, a kids play area and an outdoor seating area. Public toilets are also available in the store. Service was good and reasonably quick. Easy access and exit to/from the parking area is via Moggil Road and George street.

Very poor experience recently, main concern was walking in to a coke spilled across the main floor area in front of the counter. Two girls looking at it and laughing after putting a wet floor sign up, two other girls chatting at the drivethrough window like they're catching up over a coffee and two other girls with their back faced to the counter seemingly waiting for kitchen. Was also very disappointed when a young male junior was the one to drag out the mop while the girls laughed about it 15 minutes later, very poor work culture and hazards should definitely be taken more seriously. Waited 30 minutes for on online pre-order to be thrown on the bench and the food was shocking, burger thrown in the box, chips stone cold, missing items. Was just very disappointed by the entire experience.

Food is mostly good drive-through is absolutely garbage at night. No one can ever understand my order and always get it wrong in drive-through and whenever I go in store staff just look extremely depressed and sad. They don’t seem to talk to each other as well and have a little to no enthusiasm and half of the walk around, looking at things like they don’t know what they’re doing And just need some help you guys need to get a Morel officer in and someone to check to make sure the manager of the actual place is doing their job because people always look lost and confused sad and depressed. Also, could you guys please get rid of these fluorescent lights at the dining table and eating area and put some modern LED lights in it feels like I am sitting in some 80s doctors office it’s so white my skin looks like it’s been bleached by the lights.

Food is consistently ok. It's takeaway it fills a spot, adequate describes it best. However the amenities are woeful the men's urinal is always showing the urine stains, not cleaned daily that's for certain. Gumption stains all up around top so I don't want to clean toilets either but really if you do it, do it properly. Mould and mildew under the hand dryers. Breading ground forball the nasties that contamination brings.General facility tidiness leaves alot to be desired also, floors always dirty bench tops need cleaning. Not really a place you would sit and eat, without fear of getting ill from the lack of energy being put in Come on HJ taringa your better than this.

Im not a fan of fast food and this store reminded me why. It was super busy but it does have a display board showing where your order is in the queue. After waiting 30 minutes my order showed as being prepared. 2 minutes later it moved back to half way down the queue. I queried and was told not everything was ready. It just seemed odd given our order was quite basic and multiple seemed to have no problems getting their order. Another 15 minutes later it rose to the top of the board and was put on the counter. Someone else’s initials were called. He came up and said it wasn’t his. I suggested it was mine but she was adamant and ultimately said whatever. All of that would have been ok except that someone must have poured a bucket of salt on the fries. Even the kids knocked them back. My chicken pieces were also extremely salty. Worst meal ever !!

I escaped the peak hour traffic to have a light dinner . A slight out look . Palms and shrubs in their gardens . No soap in dispenser . Health tip . - instead of fries with my meal . I had onion rings . Highly potent in anti gastrointestinal intestinal cancer according to research . Als gave me ability to win arguments . I sat outside under the awning . Fresh air . . Less chance of covid . You can spot the few intelligent people . They are the only ones wearing masks in this pandemic . The staff were not wearing masks . To spell it out . This is the height of an outbreak . Dunces don't consider themselves or others by not wearing a mask . People are brainless . They should be ashamed of themselves . Not helpful with highlight boards showing minimum options when those options are sold out and when you ask staff about other options they don't have a clue about other menu items. Think I'll stick to KFC if I ever want fast food as they seem to have more items on their menu highlight board. Staff were lovely. Food was amazing! Recently it's been a bit hit and miss with incorrect orders I actually gave up on phoning each time my order was wrong App is dreadful and it annoys me how there's not a full menu at drive through so if the item you want isn't on the board so you have to check your phone (which is illegal). I'd suggest only going through drive through if you know exactly what you're going to buy. .

I have only had drive thru here. Sometimes there are delays with only one person serving and cars backing up. I always order the Rebel whopper so may require a bit more time to prep. The order has always been correct.

My meal was given to the car in front of me, i watched them go through the bag and hand the drink to kids in back seat. They realised it was the wrong meal and handed it back, after waiting another 5 or so minutes they drove off and I pulled up to the window, the Manager handed me the same bag and drink. After I questioned it they remade the burger. I didn't realise but they then handed me the same drink. It had been made so long there was no ice left, and was a bit flat. What a waste of $19 and 20 minutes for a pathetic meal. Maybe the store needs some retraining on food safety

Am a resident of Taringa and have noticed over the year how very slow the service is. Whether in drive thru, walk in etc. Minimum waiting of half hr for one simple meal, or drink alone. Some staff come across rude if asked about waiting time. Walk in to observe workers and how they manage their time, notice team just don't work together, time management skills terrible. Disappointing as go other take outs solely because service is way too long. Waited half hr for a frozen drink tonight at 6 pm. That's disgraceful.

went to the store with my bereal best buddies @alakay01 & @lari.w. had an absolutely spectacular rendezvous on the way, service was delightful, & @lari.w was so happy with the burgers he received. he claims that they truly are better. there was however a strange individual who went into a coma whilst we dined. he eventually went to neptune & we did not hear from him again. i hope he is well & his mental health has improved. lovely bloke. don’t tell charlotte about this. help me. call the police.

It's a Hungry Jack's, so you know what to expect. Except for some reason this one is old timey American diner themed for some reason? Anyway, I'm blessed to live walking distance away, because shake'n'win provides some good snacks. Additionally I refuse to back down until you bring the $2 shake back to the dollar menu. I have attached a picture of a yumbo I purchased. This burger is the embodiment of: "You were too busy thinking about if you could, that you forgot to think about if you should".

It took too long to be served. It took too long for my meal to be prepared and delivered. The burger was hot. The fries were barely warm. I asked that my dessert be delivered later. It was delivered with the meal. I reminded them of this and they set it aside. When I went to collect the dessert they presented the one prepared earlier. They made one fresh when I asked for one. They should have done that automatically. I hadn't been to Hungry Jack's for a while. I won't be back for quite a while.

Getting there by car was stressful as it situated at hilly area, I had to constantly balance clutch, accelator and handbrake, while giving away other cars in extremely steep hill. But once we get there, everything was nice. It has a beautiful outdoor sitting area where we spent rest of our afternoon. Although many Hungry Jack's store has modernize its interior, this store still have 70's American look which I personally don't like. Bit this store still offer soft drinks refill which is cool.

The food was good, service not so good, the young lady made me feel like I had to order in a hurry, it seemed as though she didn't want to be there, I didn't feel satisfied with what I ordered, but also felt like I couldn't change it because of how she was towards me. Luckly I was only passing through. Overall the store was clean, food was serviced pretty quick.

Burger was great! (ordered angry whoppa) However, the Fanta I ordered was very very diluted and not sweet at all, will not be ordering again. Hey! Are staff not fully trained or they are just really bad? Is it really that hard to get an order right? One time wrong, it’s ok, second time still forgiving, third time and fourth time and I don’t even know how many more times this is not acceptable. If staff putting something that one is allergic to after ask not to put in, that will put the customer’s life at risk. Mistakes happen, but not every time. Please do your work properly, and I’m hoping to see improvement.

Ordered food from here once during the day. Was decent. But then I ordered recently very early morning (5am) a time not busy for anyone, and I received food that had been cooked hours before and had been sitting around not even under a heat lamp.

The store was pretty busy with trades of all sorts at about 11am. All that considered I was still served in a timely manner, the chips were perfectly cooked and coffee made all within 5 minutes. Do NOT buy the boneless chicken pieces!! They are nothing like the photos, and they are the size of chicken nibbles, for $10!! Go to KFC or Red Rooster and get 3 pieces for $9, that are actually pieces of chicken and look like the photos. FYI - I had 4 or 5 photos with rubbish bins overflowing etc. They've deleted those photos*** Place was putrid, chips were a mixture of old and fresh. Rubbish and food all over the tables and floors. Staff were standing around doing nothing/talking when it wasnt busy (I was the only customer there) and the rubbish bins were over full. Good job guys. Had the displeasure of being served by 'Sarah' in drive through today. Absolutely deplorable service, did not offer any upsells, did not confirm my order, and went with what she thought she heard which was incorrect. I had to ask repeatedly to confirm my order at the window as well as price as it was clearly too cheap when paying. Don't think I'll order here again, I shouldn't have to ask staff members to do their job correctly.

Last two times the fries have been so salty they are uneatable. The last time I came they also gave me the wrong burger, when I got it changed to the correct burger they just tossed the wrong burger in the bin. Animals died for that burger, they could of offered it to me in good faith, as compensation for having the screw up not to waist food products.

I’ve had this one lady serve me twice now, the first time she was rude and snatched my phone out of my hand for the code without warning. While also seeming as if she was high. The second time she was just flat out rude, from the tone in her voice, to the way she handled me as a customer. Highly recommend not going to the drive thru until she no longer can be in that position

This place delivered. I went in for a cheeky cheeseburger after work and was treated with great service, good food, and comfy atmosphere. The gentleman who served me, I think his name was Finn, was courteous and polite and got my order through quickly and with a smile. Will be coming back for another scran.

Usually check into the app while in the train and go in if I win anything good. Location is great since is literally right next to the train station. Also come here sometimes in Friday nights with the boys. Staff are friendly and service is quick, love the overall Aesthetics of the place reminds me of one of those classic American rock and roll burger joints.

Worst hungry Jacks Store I've ever seen. Have ordered numerous times on Uber eats and they have stuffed up my order 80% of the time. From super dry burgers that's probably been sitting for hours to missing half of your items. They are very consistent at screwing up your order even when compared to other branches, I would avoid this shop at all cost.

Really disappointed with the services. I think there were more than 6people in the cashier counter they have there own discussions rather than looking for customers. I waited more than 20minitus for collecting one Burger, people who came after me took their orders, but, people who worked there didn’t know it because they don’t care about customers…

Waited 25mins in the drive through for them to give me the wrong burger. I ordered a plant based whopper with cheese, but when I opened the burger it was the vegan whopper, which is a different item on the menu. The staff were clearly under pressure and need more training as well as a decent manager rostered on. To the franchise owner - do better!

Sick the next morning, vomit had that distinct smokey taste. feel bad that the franchisee is contractually obligated to buy such low quality ingredients. I think I'm done with hungry jacks for the rest of my life, 3 times in a row of getting sick is a good sign.

We were talking about Mac &KFC yesterday. Then yes I ordered it by uber eats. And there were some mistake when I order it. And then i get it by 10mins. i was so surprised.

I meet people there from time to time. I actually like it's relatively quiet place for a fast food venue. Burgers and all the rest is pretty much as in every other Jacks. Good decor with a 1950s diner look. It was quite busy when I went in but three staff members made eye contact with me waiting at the counter, said nothing and walked away to different jobs. A little "sorry for the wait" would have gone a long way, but otherwise an enjoyable experience and the food came out fast

Paid online, went to pick up order at drive through, staff were not present. Staff would occasionally come by a window while cleaning and ignore my car. I'm guessing the store closed a couple hours early with no signage/indication. Zero communication and a weird experience. 2/5 since the store is usually fine.

I ordered the whopper burger and was surprised the find that it was just two buns completely filled with mayo. I brought this up to the cashier and they were really nice about it and offered to make another one for free. Overall decent quality food for a good price but a surprising experience to be sure.

We are regulars to this HJ branch. It is quiet most of the time. We prefer it over McDonald's Indooroopilly because of the discount vouchers we always have as well as better burgers. Food quality though, it's just an average fast food outlet. Staff are often friendly and helpful but seem demotivated.

Very slow drive through. I've been here on 3 occasions... and the drive thru is consistently slow taking more than 8 minutes for simple 2 to 3 item orders. This has been my local HJs for over 35 years. Bring back the Whaler please! The rebel whopper is a great move! Wish it was cheaper though.

Fast service and foods warm, only problems are they forgot the cheese on a burger(no real issue) and the toilets have had something wrong the last few times I've been and are nearly always out of soap. Got a very sweet surprise when I got one of my burgers though and that makes it even better

Usually good service. I had one rude lady serving me today... I believe her to be in a position above normal typical casual staff. ginger hair, glasses. I don’t mind about medial workers not smiling, but to go in the opposite direction and be rude isn’t needed when I’m having a rough day

Sorry Hungry Jack's. You are my favourite fast food joint but your drive thru is the slowest I have ever experienced and your icecream machine may as well be broken as the product no longer is a treat but tastes wierd. A reinvention of your brand is well overdue.

Me and my boyfriend went to this hungry jacks at like 1am and there was a Lovely nice man who took our order and gave us our food. He had a beard and was ginger and had very very short hair at the top. Friendly and kind man! Give a raise

probbaly the worst hungry jacks on the continent. takes a solid 30 mins to serve 2 cars in the drive thru and several people waiting around inside while the staff stand around and chat and chill without a care in the world. absolutely pathetic

Its hungry Jack's. It's a smaller size location and I had a chicken burger. Service was good. 3 stars because its fast food joint. There isnt much else to say. Would use the app to check for deals sometimes you can get meals at a good price

Order a drink with burstees on delivery? No straw. Order a burger with no mayo because of allergies and get mayonnaise all over. Teenage staff make mistakes, but it's too frequent at this place to be normal.

Just ordered a large stunner and a yumbo, got home realising they've messed up my orders again(sign). They only gave me two chicken royal and the drinks which is way less than what I paid for. This is the 8th they've messed up my order.

Lived around the area for 6 years, and this has been my go-to place for chips/ burgers etc. Drive thru has always been quick with good service. Dropping a review now only because I think good old-fashioned service should be commended.

As it's a drive-through, there are a few eat-in customers so it's very comfortable place to eat .

It's really the worst. The clerk ignored me and offered me a voucher, but did not accept it, and the fries were too salty to eat. This is the worst store I've ever been to, so I hope it will improve.

disappointed. Ordered a cheeseburger meal with a Coke Zero and 2 storms. This is what I received. Wrong order mixed with other items that were the correct order and poorly filled drink.

My friend placed an order for me and in delivery it got ruined :( but thanks to excellent customer service they remade the meal for me 5 stars for food 5 stars for customer service ✨️

We waited 13 minutes for our fast food meal. Breakfast menu wasn't on display. Seating was a tight fit. Our order was wrong. But the bacon and avocado burger was fantastic.

We spent almost 30mins in the drive through! Then the food was cold :(

Memorable grill taste and with bigger burgers than other shops. Meals are great you can have an ice cream there wit hthe meal. Not the fastest but friendly staff.

As with all fast food restaurants they never quite look like the advertisements... but was and convenient and the staff ate friendly

The food can be a hit or miss at times. There are days when it is hot and fresh; whereas, others can be quite gross and cold.
