DO NOT USE THEM. TERRIBLE MOVERS. I would rate them 0 stars if I could. Before scheduling I asked if Friday at 5pm or Saturday morning worked better, the boss told me Friday was best. So I scheduled for 5pm on Friday about 2-3 weeks in advance. On moving day I got a text saying they’d be an hour late, I said no worries. 6:15PM came and no movers so I texted/ called the boss, he said they were 15 minutes away. I was patient and I waited. 7PM came, no movers. I asked again, the boss said they should be down the street. 7:30PM came, still no movers. So I contacted the boss again, he said “they aren’t there yet? Here is the phone number to my guys..” I called his guys, they said they’d be there in an hour. So I said okay, I’ll be patient and I’ll wait. 8:30PM came, again NO MOVERS. So I called the guys and they said “Can we come in the morning at 6:30?” By moving day, it’s already agreed on with my landlord that I’d be out that very day. I called the boss and he tells me “they should be down the street.” No one shows up till 9PM and the boss actually showed up in his own car as well. I gave specific instructions as everything was already boxed up and ready to just get loaded into the truck. My couches were delivered broken, the recliner no longer reclines. On top of that, it’s super dirty now!! I actually wrapped my own couch and the boss himself took off the wrapping and moved my couch with one of his guys. I told them not to flip any boxes or any drawers because they aren’t empty and have glass inside of them. They flipped it anyways to roll it onto the dolly so everything has been tossed around, some are even broken. They scratched all the walls and doors while moving stuff out when I just repaired everything before moving day! The boss even left 10 minutes into the move without saying a word. NOTHING WAS WRAPPED OR CARED FOR LIKE SHOWN IN PHOTOS OR OTHER REVIEWS!! Come to find out, the boss booked a last minute move before mine that took way longer than expected. And the movers that showed up were older than expected because all the reviews said the movers were young. These guys were old enough to be my dad and my dad is not young. For context, I’m old enough to afford movers on my own which was is not cheap ($220 for 2 hrs & 5 min). Older guys moving at 9pm = slower move and more than likely exhausted and weak after a full day of moving. I was told $60 service fee and $75 per hour. There are other movers out there that cost a little more, but come with more guys that move a lot faster. So mathematically, other movers are cheaper and probably won’t break all of your belongings.

When I first reached out for a quote Jason was super responsive and Josh called and gave me a quote. It was affordable and seemed easy. Friday I confirmed the move for 9am the next day and text my address just in case. Saturday morning at 9am came and went, I called 3xs and didn’t get an answer and sent 2 texts, around 10:30 I was told they double booked and were moving someone else and wouldn’t get to me until 1pm, then another 30 minutes went by and they were going to be there at 2pm, they asked if we can do it Easter Sunday but I had to be out of my place and into my new one that night. They showed up at 2pm, packed everything into their truck and we moved to my new apartment. With the quote I was told they would assemble my bed frames & they didn’t. I asked them to lower the price for their unprofessionalism and they said no. I am very unhappy and feel disregarded. I understand accidents happen but they were not transparent with their mistake and didn't try to rectify it in anyway. Jason sent me a text the day after asking how much of a discount I had hoped for and when I responded he never returned my text to accept or counter offer. I paid full price for half of the work I was told would be done & for them being hours late.

The most unprofessional movers. They made the decision to send a 3 man crew when only a 2 man was approved. Especially disturbing since the third man did nothing but watch. They tried to charge more for the extra mover. On top of being an hour and a half late (10:30 was the agreed time ). Jason then wanted to add more time to the contract. It was 5 hours of slow, unprofessional moving. They only want cash to avoid paying taxes, refuse to give a receipt for the money paid and hang up if you try to call to talk to him. The drivers jumped in the truck to leave also refusing to give a receipt for the “cash” paid to them. Total scam, don’t use this company. Save yourself the headache

Worst moving experience! I moved my things from a storage unit to an apartment. First they were and hour late, when we were leaving the unit, the movers truck wouldn’t start, my boyfriend and I left and headed to our apartment while they figured it out. After about 40 minutes they told me they were on their way. Longer story short, the 2 men couldn’t bring my sofa up the stairs and broke my 1500 sofa. It was horrible, my boyfriend was trying to help because they were struggling and he cut his wrist, they damaged the apartment pillar by our door. Definitely do not recommend. Not professional at all.

Best fixed price, on time and got the job done neatly and efficiently. They are the best movers I ever experienced. Everything went smoothly. They even towed my car with a night before notice and for a reasonable price considering it was lest the a 24 hour notice . Uilanda is who I booked this with, she is very nice and the Manager Elmer is awesome too! The movers Vincent and William are fantastic! Easiest move ever! Thank you!!! They even moved all my plants!

They were slow and ran up the clock while putting stuff on the truck instead of coming right back to get other stuff. They spent a lot of time wrapping stuff that didn’t need to be wrapped in my opinion to run up the clock. It took them 5 hrs to load and unload a portion of my 2 bedroom apartment. I wouldn’t use them again. They broke the leg on my entertainment console too. And ripped a hole in my $2000 leather and mink coat.

Amini was very professional, i got a quote for the move within minutes after my request and they were able to move me the same day. The arrived 5pm sharp and worked really fast, i was impressed as i only had 2 hours to move. I heard stories of how some movers would move slow in order to incur more moving hours to increase your moving costs. Our stuff was wrapped and moved with care. I would highly recommend this young man.

I booked the night before and received a quote around 7:30 am next morning and they were able to move me at 10am. I received a reasonable quote I couldn’t refuse being last minute. The guys were def on time and executed entire move in 3 hours living on the 3rd floor. I would definitely recommend the company as they handled my items with care and that’s very important to me

Quite possibly the best experience I’ve had with hired movers. They had the best quote between three other moving companies I was considering. It was super easy to get the move set up. I even had to reschedule very last minute—was not a problem. The movers were very efficient and ensured none of my stuff was damaged in the move. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

2nd Year in a row hiring them, prices are not absurd and the quality of their work will be professional, dedicated and top notch. Compared prices with other companies and everything was insane and 3 to 4 times what I was charged by Houston Movers. If I move again, these dudes are definitely the ones I'm calling AGAIN to move my stuff.

5 hours. I highly recommend these guys, greatJason & Juan were great.....no extraneous talking, no loafing, no resting, they just showed up & started wrapping furniture in blankets, taping it up and hauling immediately and finished my move-out & move-in back-to-back in value & very responsive each time I posted a message in THumbtack.

Sent an last minute inquiry to get my sofa picked up, stored (2 weeks), and delivered due to being out of town and received a response back within minutes. Amini was quick and took care of my issue. BEST PRICING OUT OF ALL 15 companies I called. Great service!!! Will definitely be using Houston Movers anytime I need anything.

These guys are amazing!! Twice they have moved furniture for me. Each time they have been beyond professional, communicated so I knew exactly what was going on, snd took terrific care of each item moved. I cannot say enough about them. I will always use them for my moving needs.

I called for my daughter. And the price was great but then after a trip of just 1 1/2 of work and he was late he tried to get an extra 10 dollars from my daughter but that was not happening. But there good movers.

I contacted Houston movers for a last minute move and they were so much helpful, they wrapped, handled my furnitures well, they were fast and very professional
