A very calming place and unexpected! There are various entrances to trails walking beside fanno creek: behind the school, a trail starting in the back of the dog park, and turning into the Jewish church. Highly recommended for a quick (but exciting) stroll. BEWARE: Steep hills and trail shoes are needed.

Best dog park in all of Portland. Large lawn area, 2 picnic tables, an apple tree, and the best part are the trails down to the creek and thru some forest. And if you're blessed, around dusk, down by the creek, you may be visited by the owl family that lives there!!!

Huge off-leash dog park. Great dogs and people not on cell phones. Crowd is pretty diverse in age which makes for unique conversation. People really care about theor dogs and willing to help others out. As well all have jumped in at times. Mostly regularly folks.

My pup truly enjoyed his final outing because of the size and tranquility of this park. Of his last few days, this one he enjoyed to the fullest ❤ This is by far the best place to bring your well trained (un-fenced) or senior dogs to enjoy themselves.

Best dog park I've been to so far in Portland. Me and my pups love love love the open field! All the dogs and owners so far have been great. We have become regulars here although I'm still confused on where the bridge is from pictures lol I

We love this park so much! It was a great spot to run the dogs and the people who maintain the property frequent the park during the day to enjoy the crowd. I appreciate that they had coordinated volunteers to cleanup the mini canyon where

Hillsdale City Park, hidden right off of Hwy 10 just west of the Town Center, features an enormous off-leash area for well-behaved dogs and their owners, as well as rigorous and sometimes steep walking trails through a forested area and

Awesome. My 13 1/2 year-old Westie, Charlie's favorite place. Mine too. Charlie left this world on Wednesday June, 24th. He spent almost everyday of the last 5 months playing in Hillsdale Park with his friends. Many of his 13 years

Such a wonderful off-leash dog park. Truly my favorite in Portland. There's a nice wooded trail (on leash) that dips down to a creek. The other side has perfect hammock trees. Our pup loves going to play here.

Great dogpark! So many nice friendly people and dogs on a sunny January Saturday. We didn't see any dog poop. It looks like there is a nice playground for kids too. There was also someone playing a banjo.

Beautiful amazing park where you can let the dog run around without the leash! Also extremely close to wonderful Trails through rich dark green forest and the opportunity to walk up to the Chart House!

  • Donna Emerson

Favorite area dog park. A bit difficult to find first time. Go through the Christian center parking lot all the way to the back. Good parking. Sunny and shady areas with water. NO FENCE so be aware.

  • Dan Wodtke

If you can get past the church's attempt to appropriate this place, it's a fantastic dog park. Just ignore their signage and the off leash area is as great as you'd hope it would be.

What a fabulous gem of a dog park! Local community run place with plenty of room for off leash doggy romping. There's even a little stream and wild wooded area (my pup's favorite).

  • T. Beaty

Nice park and lovingly tended by local volunteers. It shows! Great place to hang out and let dogs run. A little bit of hills makes both humans and dogs work, should you choose.

Best dog park around! Great unfenced park area and adorable walking path near a creek! Also has water bowls and doggy bags in case you forget them after running out the door!

  • Wes Hansen

This is a park with grass and trees. Located on the side of a hill, I found it doubly aptly named. Mostly used by locals it rarely receives international visitors.

  • Steven Tannenbaum Art

The best dogpark in SW Portland, this place has open grass and trails back in the woods. No fences, which really helps the dogs not feel confined. The best.

  • Bob Litt

Great dog park but please remember to pick up your dog poop and help out by picking up someone else's each time. Stay out of closed and muddy areas

  • Matt DeRosa

This is a great, local off leash park. My dog loves coming here. We also love the undeveloped forest (and make sure to avoid the younger plants).

  • Gabriel Finch

Uhhh, hidden gem. Large park with many mature trees, lots of trails to explore, cool wooded area for pretending to be an Ewok. Recommend.

  • PDX Pooka
