"I wish I could give this place no stars"

"Regarding the Post Office: Generally my experiences here have been great, I ship hundreds of parcels per month, this location was making good money working together"
"I’ve been going to this pharmacy for approximately 2 years"
"This review is mostly for the post office, although I have had a great experience with all the staff! I have been coming here regularly for my business needs, and I am very impressed with the service I have received"
I wish I could give this place no stars. This Pharmacy has the rudest, Unprofessional, and condescending staff I have ever encountered. EVERY time I go in there be it for a prescription pick up, buy a product, or post office, its always a bad experience. They are the only pharmacy that I have ever been to ( including outside the country) that doesn’t have a pharmacist come to you and ask if you have taken the prescription before and give a brief explanation. I have asked before if I should take the medication in the morning or at night, if there are any interactions and they treat me like I am judging their character. I am buying something that I will be ingesting and its your job to provide it safely to me. You can’t have the same person who is selling lottery tickets, chocolates and taking care of the post office do the pharmacists job! Don’t bother asking for any information they will not give it to you nicely, that is if they know the answer. Many times, I pick up my prescription at the register and ask a question about it and the person helping me has to go stand and wait for the pharmacist to help them. Why not just have the prescriptions at the pharmacy and not register and have the people preparing them give it to the customer? That isn’t even the biggest issue, the rudeness of the staff is what really gets me. It’s like when they are hired, part of their training is to be as rude as you can to people or you will lose your job. I have seen the staff be nice to elderly people, so maybe its because I am not??? There is a lady who works there and is at the post office, she is the worst!! She will act like you ruined her day by going in to do something. I see other reviews about people complaining about the same problems and it doesn’t seem to get resolved. These people don’t care about customers and will treat you bad because people keep going back. I hate that its the closest pharmacy to me but I would rather go somewhere else and have proper and professional kind service knowing that what I am picking up is the correct prescription the FIRST time and know the basics of the medication without having to google it when I get home. This place is HORRIBLE.
Had very unpleasant interaction in this pharmacy when picking up prescription medication for mental health. Extremely rude staff, strong racial biased. My boyfriend was first time ever picking up the medication in Canada and he’s under the age of 24 so OHIP covered. He was asked if he has insurance coverage, mistakenly he said he did yet apparently his specific insurance doesn’t cover this specific medication at all as it’s international and only covers basic health care no more. We already paid in full. So we came back to ask to do it through OHIP and yet get a lot of unreasonable argument back from the pharmacist. We apologized for our mistake as first time doing something like that, both of us newcomers and not familiar with the healthcare system here. This is very disappointing to see when someone is keeps calling you a liar because of simple misunderstanding which we acknowledged and apologized for already. When I tried to ask how refill works I have got extreme aggression back as well and essentially didn’t want to ask any additional questions at all. We will address our concerns at some other place as we don’t feel safe here. People who works there needs to go through sensitivity training or something similar as it was extremely bad and traumatizing experience.
Regarding the Post Office: Generally my experiences here have been great, I ship hundreds of parcels per month, this location was making good money working together. However, recently the older lady with short hair who works at the counter has been giving me attitude and refusing to fulfill my shipping requests because she says they take to long and others are waiting. Apparently according to her, she isn't obligated to do what a customer request, it's apparently "her choice". I've never heard such nonsense in my life. I could say more, but will keep my composure, I don't need the hassle, and don't feel like dealing with emotionally unstable people who are rude so I've switched locations for now. It's a shame because this was my favourite outlet. All the other clerks here are great.
I’ve been going to this pharmacy for approximately 2 years. As someone who has some complex health issues, I am at the pharmacy a bit. I find the pharmacists to be very knowledgeable and genuinely have your best interest. My doctors office can be hard to communicate with and they have multiple times gone out of their way to rectify and issue for me. I think they’ve been doing a really good job at handling COVID19 and doing their best to keep staff and customers safe. As someone who’s been working through the pandemic, it’s not always easy but I’ve found the pharmacy to be easy to deal with an prompt considering. Happy with the service and glad it’s so close to me.
This review is mostly for the post office, although I have had a great experience with all the staff! I have been coming here regularly for my business needs, and I am very impressed with the service I have received. Everyone is very kind, patient and helpful (even during busy rushes!) I have the pleasure of seeing Ilda most frequently, and she always makes me laugh! She is always smiling, and is obviously very knowledgable and good at her job. So grateful for all of her help over the years!
This is a local pharmacy owned and operated by individuals who are members of the community. Having been a regular customer for the past 20 years, I have at all times experienced highly professional service delivered with courtesy and efficiency by staff at the pharmacy and the postal outlet. This drugstore s prices are generally competitive with those charged by establishments owned by billionaires. This pharmacy is a valuable asset to the neighbourhood
My wife and I moved to the area about six months ago and one of the great surprises is to have this pharmacy so close to us. The staff is absolutely amazing from clerks and pharmacists to managers. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I would give them 10 stars if I could and we will ALWAYS prioritize buying stuff there as a small gesture of gratitude!
This is a very nice pharmacy, the people there are incredibly kind and generous. My friend had a minor skateboarding accident where he was scratched and scraped and the pharmacists there helped him right away, they gave him disinfectant and proper bandaids and helped him to the best of their ability and made sure he was better
Every time I have come to this pharmacy they have made an error on my prescription. They failed to properly store my prescription (was not refrigerated) for malaria medication and for birth control. These errors could have potentially had severe negative consequences. I would not recomend this pharmacy.
Small neighborhood pharmacy, the type of place we need more of instead of the giant box store pharmacy options. Has a Canada Post location as well which is super convenient. Great staff and great location, please shop here instead of the big chain stores and keep this type of store thriving.
The last three times I have come to pick up my prescription they can’t seem to find it. Today at 6:30am I placed my refill through their phone system which states I can pick it up after 11am. At 4pm I came to pick it up and they told me
This morning my husband and I went to buy a ointment and the staff was extremely rude laughing at our accent and very disrespectful. Really careless about my burn. I don’t think these people should work in a health care environment!!
Friendly staff , good prices ..the only criticism is that it can be a little like the "Monty python " cheese shop sketch " your pills may or may not be ready in a timely fashion . Coupons doctors send may or may not be excepted .
Located in 1938 Bloor Street West, Toronto. Walking distance from TTC line 2 HIgh Park Subway Station. Canada Post Office located Inside the Pharmacy. Clean & Very small Pharmacy. Great Customer Service & Friendly Staff.
This is the best little pharmacy I've ever had. Really. Great service. Always clear, go out of their way to help and always friendly and courteous, even to others when they're not particularly nice.
Amazing!!!! The process to get the vaccine was top of the line. Easy to register. Several updates sent. Immediate booking. Amazing people at the location. What a great experience. Kudos to them.
This is one of the best pharmacies I’ve been to. The staff are very friendly and the service is fast and efficient. Usually less wait time than they say. My go to pharmacy.
I have been using High Park Pharmacy since I moved to the neighbourhood in 2013. The staff has been consistently helpful and patient with me. I can highly recommend them.
A welcoming, Pleasant place. Very professional fast service; and also has a post office. Only seconds away from High Park Subway, very convenient.
So very rude!!! The staff is horrible, including the Canada Post personal. Hours are also very inconvenient. Why aren't you open on Sundays???
