This was my first time renting from this company and my first time visiting England. I made my reservation online via Expedia and was to pay when I pick up the car. I got to the rental company and went through all the process to pick up the car. The gentleman asked me about insurance and to pre-pay for the gas and I did both. When I got to my destination and I found out that it would cost me an extra me 12 pounds per day to keep my car at the hotel that I was staying. Given that I was on vacation and didn't have extra money to spend i called up the Hertz at the Birmingham airport to see if I could drop the car off because not only it is costing me to park it I had to take the bus or taxi to get around. The lady I spoke to told me that I could drop the car off early but I would not get any money back because I pre paid and it was not a pay per day reservation. The gentleman that took my reservation never told me about paying per day or that I could rent for one way etc. He also told me that the car I had reserved was not available so he was going to bump me up to another one. I'm sure that was to get me to pay a higher rate but given that I just got off of a 6 hrs flight and it was earlier in the morning I wasn't even thinking clearly. Technically, I rented the car until the end of my stay 10-22-19 but since I was not able to use it i dropped it off at the Birmingham airport. There i was told that i would also not get my gas money back although I returned the with more than 1/2 tank of gas. I had to pay to get back to London. The manager from the Birmingham branch was to contact me and so far nothing.This was the worst part of my vacation and a very expensive lesson to learn. I will visit England again but I will NEVER rent from Hertz again.

This is my first international car hire with Hertz and the reservation was made through AAA at this Feltham, Hounslow - Unit 9, Central Park Estate location. The car reservation was for a petrol car. Upon pick up, I was informed that said car’s clutch went out and the only car available is a Tesla EV; which I have no experience with. The onsite staff was unknowledgeable, uninformed, and unable to communicate how to operate this EV. I voiced my concern that my holiday would be taking me to the small villages of Southern England and what would be the availability of charging stations? I was told that “they are all over.” I was given three options at this point: 1. Take the car 2. Decline the car 3. Return to Heathrow, at my own expense, to check if the selection was better at that location. I was handed a sheet of paper, with possible apps, that MAY offer assist with locating charging stations and was on my way. Just as I expected, I found little to no charging stations in the areas that I had previously booked accommodations and/or areas I had planned to be spending time. There is a significant learning curve to understand the speed at which the EV battery charges. I spent HOURS at charging locations, during my international holiday, so that the car would continue to run. I spent HOURS of extra time on the road, driving out of my way, to locate supercharger stations after spending hours of time researching the most effective way to charge an EV battery. Upon returning the vehicle, I voiced my dissatisfaction and was offered absolutely no recourse except to “leave a bad review so others are aware of what can happen.” I will never use Hertz, United Kingdom or United States, for car hire in the future. Does not deserve one star.

First time using hertz! Found a great deal for 5days. Make sure you arrive 30mins early as they need to take down your driving licence details and to sign agreement papers. Only downfall for the 4* is £200 is taken as a deposit payment incase you don't return the car back with full tank which is clearly not stated how much is taken on website (sneaky). Make sure you take your own pictures and videos inside and outside of the car just incase. On returning back to drop of the car to which I informed I might come early, sadly the office was closed and had to ring the number on the door to be told they will be back to the office over an hour later. Was advised to throw the keys through the letter box and they will get back to me if any issues. I also kept receipts of gas I filled up just incase any issues acured. I will now have to wait 7-10 days time to find out if I get my £200 deposit back! Positive note on this I got a better car then the car I originally booked and payed for Just a little update my deposit money was returned a week later (they usually say 7-10 days).

Good price to rent a Luton Van, but had to wait 40 minutes to collect. There were no other customers so the delay was unwarranted. When I alluded to me being delayed and saying I’ll return the van based on the time I take it, staff were quick to correct me on how long I had “actually” been waiting, which was 30 minutes at the time. They didn’t apologise for the inconvenience. They wanted to take a £200 refundable amount from my account in case anything. I find out later when checking my bank statement that they actually took £348. It’s now been 5 days and I still don’t have my money back. I will use them again because of the price, but I will be more prepared for a poor collection experience.

in General Hertz is good company dealt with them for years but Feltham Branch is just mistake if this is franchise it should be closed down. Customer service is beyond Poor. when you have long term hire and something goes wrong with the vehicle and you need replacement they don't want to know they even ignore your emails after eventually someone asnwer landline they will tell you to F*** of in polite way. if i could give zero stars i would.

It’s been over three weeks since I rented a car from hertz feltham. Car was returned with no marks and all was signed off. To this day I am still waiting on my deposit to be returned and no one at this company will take responsibility! Other car rental companies, in the past have returned my deposit within a day of returning the car. This is honestly theft and the lack of customer service is just the cherry on top.

The online process was fairly straightforward. My gf and I rented a van to move our belongings to our new flat. Upon arrival, the woman we spoke to was very understanding and helped me to operate the van as I'd never driven an automatic before. I can't speak for every Hertz depo but the Feltham branch is very good and I'd happily use them again.

Total unprofessional behaviour was there for 40min even though I have done my licence onlile, I was charged extra for fuel after I was told that everything is ok and the tank was showing full when I returned the van, the phone number for this place is at an extra cost so be careful for how long you're calling

Hats off to the manager. I met him in person to rent a van and he went out of his way to help me. Really impressive customer service. Nice one. Rented a van to bring back a table. Cost about £30 for a day and got the job done. Will be back!

Great staff. Great prices. Great car. I have got a car with 10 miles on the clock. Virtually new. I drove 700 miles on 4 days down to Cornwall and Back to London. My family was delighted and we would use Hertz again.

Do not get your UBER RENTAL from here. You will REGERT IT. The service is a cowboy service they like to take your money but you will receive a absolute rubbish service. Anyone else here agrees please speak up …!
