I met Anya about a year and a half ago looking for a new hairstylist and I have followed her from the last salon she was at to this beautiful new Head Space. Her and her business partner have created such a cool concept for good food, drinks and creative services. Anya styled my hair for my last minute courthouse elopement earlier this month and absolutely nailed it! The vibes were perfection as always from the music and her happy but still badass energy to a draft beer she gave me to ease my nerves while she worked her magic. The whole space smelled of delicious New Orleans style food that was being prepared for a pop up later on that evening. So cool! There was a chance of rain that day (which did not happen- sunny as ever), so she showed me how to turn my long waves into an easy low chignon in the event that my hair got wet, she even sent me home with a case of Bobby pins. Just a pleasure as always sitting in her chair. Looking forward to my next haircut with her in a couple of weeks!

I've been straightening my naturally curly hair for 20+ years and searched for a curly hair stylist and Anya was recommended multiple times on multiple websites so I booked an appointment. It was the best decision I've made in my hair history. She didn't just cut, wash, and style my hair but educated me on my hair, products to use, and how to use them. And it wasn't a sales pitch upsell. My hair went from a frizzy, crunchy, dry mess to soft fluffy and frizz free. The coffee and bar located there is top-notch as well. No cheap wine served in a plastic cup but a gorgeous hibiscus mojito served in a beautiful glass. The entire appointment was worth my 45 minute drive and time. I love my curls now. I can't believe these are my curls.

So my review is for the cafe/coffee shop attached to the salon. My husband and I went at about 8am Saturday morning, google shows them being closed on the weekends, but that is incorrect. We each had the brunch plate and they were Amazing! It included some brisket, (which normally I don’t even like) that was so delicious. We each also had some very good coffees. The man who served us at the counter and also made our breakfast was very friendly and personable. And the atmosphere was stylish with a slightly funky edge-see attached photos.

I live on the opposite side of town and I still make the drive to get my haircuts here. Amanda is great! The quality of her service is second to none. She learns your style and preferences to give you the best haircut possible, she is easy to talk to, and scheduling an appointment with her is easy. I highly recommend Amanda.

I have been going to Anya for a little over a year and I will never let anyone else touch my hair again. She’s amazing at what she does but on top of that she is kind and funny. As if that isn’t enough, her new space is BEAUTIFUL and has AMAZING coffee (and amazing waffles). I highly recommend you pay headspace a visit!

Anya is a fantastic hair dresser who puts so much care and time into her clients. She really gets to know you and how you will realistically magnate your hair style. I’ve never had a better curry cut! Plus, the coffee, cocktails, and food are great. Couldn’t recommend more!

After going to a different stylist, I was ‘ok,’ with my hair— I went to Anya and now I LOVE my hair. There is nothing better than a rad person sharing their talents; I’m so glad I didn’t settle and went to see her! I will definitely be back.

I won't let anyone else but Amanda touch my hair. I have been going to her for 3+ years now and always happy with my hair color and cut. Amanda is patient, kind, fun and creative. The time will just fly by when I'm in her seat.

Really loved my haircut here, Anya is so cool and went out of her way to give me lots of practical styling tips. I got a fantastic curly cut and would recommend that anyone who wants to show their curls some love go to her!

Anya is a hair wizard. She is amazing with fun color, but can also fulfill your less wild dreams. The coffee program is great and Mike is doing great things on the food and beverage side. I can’t wait for the bar to open!
