I am updating my review. I gave them a 5 star at first because I received a discount off my bill. I’m short words I reached out to Harwell legal to help me with my custody case. I was with Star at first and she was super nice and helpful, but then I was passed to an attorney who doesn’t work there anymore and I just feel like he didn’t really prepare me for my mediation hearing. I’m not sure how these kind of things go and was very nervous going in. That went fine and then two months passed and I had a question regarding the agreement we came to during mediation. I called twice and never heard back from them, but don’t worry they charged me for those calls that ended up costing me $159 dollars because I hadn’t realized they charge me for those two calls. That attorney then left and I was passed to another one I never met. Overall I spent roughly $3,200 dollars in legal fees here and am now having to seek another attorney to fix the problem I called about in September. Adding on to this review months later because I can not believe how badly I’m being screwed over in my custody case now because the attorney I had here didn’t pay any attention to what was typed into my agreement. I’m now having to tank even more money in hopes of getting it changed. I feel so taken advantage of from this firm.

I was referred to Harwell Legal Counsel by a friend following an OWI. Brent Pierce was my attorney, and I had such a wonderful experience. Brent was very much on the ball throughout the duration of the process. He worked hard to get things resolved quickly and fairly, was extremely communicative, and truly had my best interest at heart. I have worked with other attorneys in the past, and while many of them seem to over-promise, and under-deliver, Brent was extremely realistic and honest with me from the beginning. The resolution of my case was much better than I hoped. The office staff are also wonderful. They knew who I was each time that I called, and were always so friendly and helpful. I am extremely grateful for the help of Brent and Harwell Legal Counsel during what was one of the scariest times of my life. I can’t say enough good things, and will definitely be recommending them to anyone needing legal help in the future. Thank you Brent!

I wasn't sure what to think about my decision. Id hired Johnathan and his team purely on gut instinct. On the phone he seemed to be the most capable lawyer. I needed someone who wasn't gonna try to talk me into signing a plea agreement. I needed someone who was gonna represent me the way I would have. And fight for me like it was his future on the line. And I'll be honest I've never thought to highly of the legal system. But Mr Harwell put all of those fears to rest the first day we met. He made me a believer that hard working honest people although few and far between,do still exist. He and his team saved my hide. When it was looking pretty bad for me. I recommend him to everyone in n can. This is the first time I've ever came out of a courthouse unscathed.

My attorney impressed me on several occasions. She had a good knowledge base of my case, even though at my hearing it had been a month since we spoke. She presented to the court exactly what we spoke about. At the hearing I felt there was good cross examining and support while on the stand. We won the first round! For these things I give four stars. I would have given five stars but there are a few things I wish were different. My counsel has a heavy case load and cancelled on our virtual meeting after our hearing win! It is not easy to call in and get to speak to your attorney and most likely will speak with the paralegal, which don’t get me wrong is nice too.

My lawyer is so fantastic I had to review him twice. I’ve never known Mr.Harwell to exchange any gifts for reviews. He really is a stand up guy. He has the highest level of integrity I’ve experienced within a personal lawyer, mind you I’ve had a legal team since 20. I am grateful I can still use mr. Harwell for many things not just one. He is highly decorated, and exceptionally financially humble, as well. I’ve never had one unprofessional experience with him or the team in 3 years. This is your legal professional. Look no further, and if he can’t help you he will tell you straight away.

Our lawyer is Star Martinez. We have only been a client for a month but in that time, the service has been great. We like the online portal, and its not just for my husband but for myself as well. We can call the office during business hours with questions about our case and Star's Paralegal Danielle does her best to answer our questions. Overall, we feel like we have a great team to represent us. We also appreciated the option to make a down payment and pay monthly. We are looking forward to seeing how our case progresses with Star and Danielle leading the way!

Star, Jonathan, Janae, and Mariah are all so great. They always return calls promptly, answer all my questions, and are so nice. I have never had to get a lawyer before and didn't know what to do or expect. They helped me through everything and explained things that I was not familiar with. Horrible! The firm may be decent. However, the attorney I had and my experience awful!! My attorney had no attention on intentions toward my case. Didn’t show up for a court dates, seemed forget all and basically just allowed my ex wife’s attorney to do whatever! I’m angry because of all the money and time I wasted! She literally never spoke up on any case I had, even the simple gun charge!!! A mediator represented me better! I’m so sorry but please be so much better for the next guy please!!

During the short time we have been with working with Jonathan and his team, they have been very responsive and working hard to get all of the information they need to build the best case. Anytime I have called or emailed, the office has always been professional and polite, they listen to my concerns and are thorough in responding to all of my questions. This is a legitimate law firm, but they will nickel and dime you like crazy and not care. Most recently I missed a call/received voicemail ($16), called back and couldn’t reach ($16), got another voicemail while sleeping ($16) and then an email ($16) and replied to the email ($16) all for the most basic two sentence conversation.

Harwell legal counsel has been by far so awesome in a short amount of time. Jonathan and Star have been consistent and VERY timely with responses. They are flexible with a payment plan that suited our needs no questions asked. They are highly recommended!!!! They also do set rate for child custody cases which is an amazing deal!
