We love this park largely for two reasons: it's shady, and it's walking distance from our house. There's a lot of open grass for ball play and things, and a lot of it is fully shaded which is wonderful for hot summer play. The playground is seriously old school. There are a couple picnic tables. It's typically pretty quiet.
Long live the crooked tree! I miss the tire swing and the climbing wooden arch. At least they still have A merry go round....not THE merry go round. The teeter-totter it's original. I grew up playing whiffle ball here. Great park. Lots of on street parking. Grew up in the 70-80's going here. It's the best!
Super shady park. So nice in the heat. I realize after going that it is not the best park for dogs only because it’s not that big so throwing the ball you must be careful not to overshoot and hit the street. Otherwise it’s a lovely place to sit in the grass or up against a tree and relax.
It's a narrow strip of green space tucked in off 82nd. No frills but a goodish amount of beautiful trees. A bit too narrow for us.. My border collie had to run the edges of the grass, a little too close to the curb for comfort. Otherwise it's just a little park. S'okay.
Cute park. Full of trees and a giant slide. Couple of newer swings. Older small wooden play structure, balance beam and merry go round. Used to live by it and my kids spent every day there. Now we visit but there are a lot more teenagers
I like this classic tucked away park hiding under the canopy of a cluster of trees . Merry go round, teeter totter, tall long fast metal slide swings. This a super fun park Andll and shockingly this place is not overrun by the homeless,
Tried a new park today. My partner and I had been looking for a new park that was closer to our house than Sacagewea. It was suggested I try this tiny park. It's awesome and wasn't even crowded for a rare sunny winter afternoon on a
This is our local neighborhood park with a small playground. Usually someone there during daylight hours with kids or playing with their dogs. Some local neighbors walk around and through the park almost everyday picking up litter.
Nice open park in the neighborhood. Love the tall trees, merry-go-round, and tall slide. Play structure equipment is okay and swings are good for kiddos, not so much the adults (kids at heart). More
The park was inviting... But the home renters or home owners in the surrounding the park areas. Are nosey.. Too dang nosey. Sheesh …
My kidz luv it, my doggo luvs it, enuff shade, enuff room to run, gorgeous neighborhood, etc. The only downfall is not public restroom.
Great area, especially for children, but no bathrooms or water in the area so you have to come prepared!
Beautiful and simple. Could have more stuff to play on, but the gorgeous trees make up for it.
The address listed here Is wrong. Cute little park, great access for the neighborhood.
Beautiful little park no bathroom tho unless your a dog then it's all bathroom lol
Gotta keep your hand on your clock if you want to enter this playground
Quiet and shady. Reminiscent of the parks I played at as a kid.
The grass is all dead in the summer. Nice park with all trees
Lots of shade and an alright place for kids but no rest rooms
My neighborhood park, has it all, except restrooms.
Portland needs more public greenspaces like this.
Small neighborhood park. Has a small playground.
Old school play ground equipment, lots of trees
Homeless are starting to loiter leaving stuff
Bummed they got rid on the cauliflower base.
