Food was rather nice. I went in about 1pm and they had hardly any cakes left and considering it was mother’s day they maybe should’ve thought about doing more. I found the lady who served me wasn’t very welcoming and made me feel uncomfortable. There are a lot of good bakeries, so a smile and a hello can keep a customer coming back when there’s other places with good food to choose from. Three stars for the food.

The food was ok. Nothing special really for a standard bakery but the cost!?? Huge! One pie, one sausage roll and a 600ml Coke should not cost $19. If it does it better be the best pie and sausage roll in Adelaide which it isn't. No wonder it was so slow in there.

For a small family bakery, they produce a very good variety of items. Generously filled pasties & pies, always good quality. Sourdough bread is excellent, but you'll need to order it. Lately, have enjoyed their Vietnamese Rolls. Delicious. Nice friendly couple.

Got veggie pasty - undercooked and way over seasoned. Not to mention it was $$$ Custard tart - pastry was too thick and overcooked Donut with jam and cream was pretty good All up very pricey for the quality, wouldn’t recommend

They make really good chicken pies and meat pies - probably the best we've had! Also, we tried their vanilla slice yesterday and it was absolutely delicious! Definitely a bakery we will continue to visit …

This was by far the best Banh Mi I’ve ever had! We had the Kitchener Bun and the Caramel Honey Log and both were fresh and delicious! No photos as we ate them too quickly

Lack of customer service, food was bland (pies and sausage rolls) changed hands recently maybe changed recipes. Pies were $5.20 which I thought was pretty expensive for what they were.

Very poor coffee quality and lack of variety . I only buy bread from this bakery now since the owners changed . Unfortunately the quality of food has changed dramatically !

This bakery has amazing food and great people. Everything is cooked in the shop and the make good coffee. I cannot recommend this bakery more! Service is always great!

Hallett Cove bakery is run by an English family who are warm and welcoming. They sell a variety of pies, cakes and breads of high quality.
