I came to this Chinese supermarket as it is located adjacent to the newly opened bubble tea shop. However, this Chinese supermarket has the same drawback as many other mainland Chinese-owned supermarkets. The storefront signage design is outdated and unappealing. The deep red colour of the base is unattractive, especially with the large Chinese characters and unnecessary neon lights. The overall aesthetic is reminiscent of a Chinese tier 5 city from the 1990s, which clashes with the modern vibe of South Brisbane and detracts from the beauty of the entire neighbourhood. The interior visual presentation is also outdated, and when compared to Korean supermarkets, there are significant differences. The Korean supermarkets pay attention to their interior visual design, which is not the case here. I don't believe that the Chinese supermarket owner lacks the money to pay for a designer, as they can afford such a large store in a central location. It seems that they simply lack a sense of design and may have copied their designs from China to save on the budget. However, this is not China, and aesthetics are essential here. If the store is unattractive, customers will choose to go to Korean supermarkets instead. The range of items sold within the store is reasonably good, but during my visit, the cashier disappeared for a few minutes during peak hour. This is unacceptable for a large store like this, and it should not happen. Overall, I don't think I will return to this Chinese supermarket. There are other options with more modern and appealing designs that offer better service, making them more attractive to customers.

Dishonest, incompetent and insulting service. The man who served me at 6.30 this morning ripped me off. I am a "VIP Member" of this supermarket because I have a paid membership. I told the staff member and I provided my mobile phone number which entitles me to 8% discount. (A customer's mobile phone number is the device used to register and exercise VIP membership prices). After he yawned through serving me and grunted a few times, he typed my mobile phone onto the computer as if he was entering my VIP discount and took my money via EFTPOS. I had to insist on a receipt because he was reluctant to provide one. From the receipt I saw I had not received my 8% VIP discount and insisted he fix it. He said he had not been able to find my membership when he entered my phone number. HE HAD NOT THOUGHT TO MENTION THIS TO ME AT ANY TIME and by his reluctance to provide a receipt, he was unconcerned to deceive me and rip me off. When I explained to him how inappropriate this was, he simply yawned. He told me he could not fix it and was entirely unconcerned that he had lied to me and stolen from me. This is officially the worst customer service I have ever received.

If there was an option for zero star I would give zero. Had applied for a cashier position at HX supermarket through we chat after seeing their advertisement at the store. Took them a long time to respond to my message and when I was asked to do trials, I was underpaid $10 AUD per hour and worked as a stock assistant when I obviously applied for a cashier role. Did not get to speak to the boss at all. When I communicated with the employer by phone I indicated that I am only available to do the morning shift. However, was then told by the employer at work that they were only looking for a night shift worker. After being scammed for two days of work, I was told to contact the boss about further arrangements. However, no replies were ever given from the boss through we chat or messages. HX supermarket illegally underpays their workers for trial and is not given the opportunity to be hired for actual employment. I suspect they are using trials to compensate for their employees that were unable to make it for their shifts. Felt super disrespected and wasted my time.

HX supermarket is located on Cordelia street in West End and a stones throw from Arise Brisbane One Apartments. It has a good selection of Asian Groceries, fresh food and dry. The stuff here is authentic so the sauces, pastes etc will be spicier than the ones in Woolies, Coles etc. They also have a few Indian spices like Corriander powder, Kashmiri Chilli powder etc. I didn't find too many options for Sambal. I was looking for crispy prawn Sambal and only found 1 option. The Asian stores in Melbourne have more variety. The shop is well laid out spacious so easy to find stuff and the price tags show the English names which is helpful.

Absolutely shocking customer service, they kept me waiting for 20 minutes no acknowledgement or communication made me feel like a ghost, just chatting away to each other instead of helping and serving customers, one person on the till with a queue to the back of the shop that I’ve seen several times while the other staff just mill around gas bagging instead of working to meet customer needs, also a lot of labels are not in English which is illegal.

The 24-hour operation and diverse selection have made me a frequent visitor here. However, I'm unsure when it started (about six months ago), a new staff member began consistently displaying impatience and rude behavior. I remember the previous employees, who were all friendly. This new male staff member makes me particularly uncomfortable. I have to say this store is good, but could you avoid letting such employees impact our shopping experience?

I went to HX supermarket at South Brisbane today, came back home and realised they charged me $26.67 for a small packet 180g of Taiwanese chicken cookie! I have never seen anything this overpriced before, It is ridiculous! I tried to call their shop more than 10 times, it is a mobile number. No one answer or call me back. Disappointed. Will never goes back again.

It's a very friendly experience, with new products coming in every time. A lot of things you can't find in Brisbane can also be bought here, to eat a long time ago did not eat delicious home. The staff is very enthusiastic and will be very careful to tell you how to cook or use it. It gave me a great customer experience.

They are still learning how to organise aisles, but today it was very easy to find what we needed with no help. Huge range of Japanese imports compared to other small Asian groceries. Only downside honestly is the very small parking space with all the construction going on.

Great Asian market with decent fruit and veg offering. Fresh noodles, kimchi and cakes/pastries are decent too. The large range of meat in the freezer section would be great for Shabu shabu or Korean barbeque cooking styles. Will be going back to

相比sunnybank任何一家亚超，这里价钱略微贵一丢但是根本也没贵多少，最关键这里是24小时营业的基本全年无休，就冲这一点我认为华欣居全昆士兰TOP 1 亚超绝对当之无愧，茶米油盐，生鲜果蔬，冷冻速食，鲜肉熟食一应俱全，规模虽然算不上大但是生活绝对够用。我最喜欢的亚超之一。
