We researched and came upon HSM to replace our condo building's prior property management company, who had been doing a woefully inept job at managing our property and timely addressing issues. The extent of the prior property management company's incompetence was not apparent until we had transitioned over to HSM, who took a thorough look through our ledger and realized the prior property management company had not even caught the fact that owners had been underpaying monthly HOA dues (which had changed based on calendar year). Our initial introduction to HSM was through Jerald Joseph, who was professional, responsive, and informative. He answered all our questions, and did not give us conflicting or inconsistent information (as other property management companies we were considering had done). Our property's specific manager, Rina Castillo, is also incredibly helpful. If the Board or an owner/tenant raises an issue, we actually get a result without having to repeatedly follow-up (or give up and do it ourselves). For instance, we were able to complete upgrades to our garage to allow EV owners to charge their vehicle at their dedicated parking spot, and also did a thorough cleaning of all dryer vents in each unit and flushed the communal building pipes. I am very happy and pleased with our transition to HSM and intend for this to be a long and fruitful relationship with our building.

Jessica has been our property manager for over 6 months now. She’s the best property manager that we’ve had for a long time. I think she was new to the role when she first started with us but has been growing into the position, as she gets more experience and more used to working with us and our building. Her communication and responsiveness are excellent. With previous property managers, we’ve had to ask them multiple times to do any task. But, with Jessica, we ask her to do something or to provide us with some information, and she does it, first time. She’s very good about communicating by text, phone call, and email; and she visits the property whenever needed. She’s a pleasure to work with.

I want to give a 5 star for Jeff. Last night the strong wind blew off my chimney cap which is big concern because storm is coming. I called the HOA after hour number and Jeff answered. He was very patient and efficient. He quickly arranged a repair by some roofing professionals. The chimney damages were fixed before end of the day. I can’t stress how much relief it was for me. It is such a peace of mind when you have someone like Jeff to take care of the maintenance!

Jeff Machado has been very helpful resolving multiple issues on the property! The condo I live in is quite old and has many things that needs to be fixed. Filling this out for the building management services. They have 1 primary point of contact for our 15~ units. Building problems have been addressed pretty quickly, with email notices if necessary. Some of my issues weren't resolved to an A+ standard from some hot potato-ing, but in general it's been good.

I own a landscaping company, Oscar and Raul Landscaping that services multiple properties that HSM manages. We’ve worked together for a few years and the mangers are very nice to work with especially Rina, Hao, and Jerald. We’ve worked with a few managing companies and they are the best by far.

HSM has been managing our HOA since 2014. Their office has staffs speak different languages which help to serve our HOA and answer questions from different languages speak in our HOA. HSM also provides recommendations to the HOA and makes sure the HOA follows the rules and regulations.
