Exceeded expectations by a very wide margin. I needed a new bumper on my car. They replaced it in half the time that I expected. They stayed over an hour late because I got held up at work. They matched the color on the bumper exceptionally well. The job they did was not only phenomenal and done in a very timely manor, it was done with an obvious desire to give me the best service they possibly could. When I got in my car (which was filthy when I dropped it off), I noticed they had put all of my dishes and extra things into an organized box. They vacuumed my floors. They cleaned the exterior of my car. The bumper looked absolutely amazing- the attention to detail on color matching (which they knew I cared about) was stellar. On top of ALL OF THIS, they were undoubtedly kind hearted, ethical people with a clear passion to give incredible customer service. This is my first time ever giving a google review, and these guys have earned every word of it. I will copy this into yelp, apple, literally anywhere I can say something good about them. I could never say enough good things about this place. If you need work done on your car, there isn't a better place to go in Seattle.

I was in Mesa on business, driving west on Hwy 60, and experienced a loud flapping noise in my engine. I made it safely to a motel, stayed overnight, and then proceeded to look for a nearby service station to help me out. One of the mechanics asked me to take him on a test ride, and shortly after he heard the noise, he told me to head back to the station where he immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem, and sent me on my way at no charge! I indicated that if I ever returned to the area I would be back. Two years later my wife and I did move to a retirement community in the area, and we have been using H&I to service our car ever since. We have not been disappointed. The car gets proper servicing, and when there is a problem requiring special attention, we are clearly told what the problem is and are given the estimated cost and time for the servicing. We have always been pleased with the results, including fair pricing.

Well the late season snow storm caught me and on the way home hit a really slick patch in my Tacoma pick-up. Slid off and over the curb, got hung up on a electrical pole guy wire. Lower door panel and scraps down the side of the bed. Got an estimate from the insurance company and took it over to H&I. They were very busy, I wasn't the only snow damage, but they scheduled me for the following week and said they would need 2 or 3 days. They had to pull the bed off. They called when it was finished and you wouldn't know anything had happened. They also took some pictures of a previous repair (that I didn't know about, I was the 2nd owner) where they hadn't painted a sub panel that you couldn't see unless the bed was removed. They went ahead and painted that area with no charge. Great service, good people.

I travel a lot for work; in fact when the time came to fix my car, I was dreading taking it to the shop. H&I made it a seamless experience. They worked well with my insurance and really took care of my “bat mobile”. I had stopped in earlier to check the shop out. The team at the shop showed me such great service that when my insurance asked where I wanted to get the work done, I didn’t bat an eye. On top of that, when I picked up the car, it looked brand new. The folks at H&I cleaned both the interior and exterior. They didn’t have to do that but they went above and beyond and I appreciate them for that. Also, if you like dogs, I think the owner brings his pup into work sometimes. Save yourselves the hassle with other shops and go to H&I, you really will not regret it!

I took my 2014 Subaru Forrester in for repair of my front bumper and hood. The evaluation was thorough and the estimate complete. The work was accomplished on time and within the estimate. I called and was told the car was ready. I picked it up the next day and noticed that, although the bill included paint matching, the front bumper was not the same shade as the rest of the car. I was told that current factory supplied paint was a lighter shade than my car and that if I wanted the paint to match I would have to give them another day. When I questioned why I was told the car was ready I was told, “I didn’t know you wanted it perfect.” I don’t think that is 5 star work. I would probably go back but would budget for an extra trip to check on their work before pickup.

A rogue shopping cart smashed into my Honda Fit’s drivers side door and it would only open halfway. H&I evaluated my options and gave me two quotes: one to replace the panel and paint, etc; that was for $1100. The second was to push the dent out and deal with the fact that it wouldn’t “look perfect”; cost, +/- $200. I didn’t want to involve my insurance and given the reality of driving in the city and that it’s all too common to get scratched and dinged, I chose the $200.00 option. My car was repaired in less than three hours. When I picked it up I could barely see a slight dent. Small scratches had been buffed away and the car looked like it had been washed. Door opens perfectly. Final bill, $158.00. Highly recommend this business!

Paul and Yuchu at H&I have been exceptional to fix our car quickly and affordable! Our Mazda CX-5 is looking like it’s brand new! Few years ago, they did a wonderful job on our BMW, and this time we went straight to them, not even looking for competing estimates. Yuchu and Paul have made us comfortable both times and they were very patient at explaining the cost estimate to us! While initial estimate included everything to make the car back to original shape, we asked for only some of the fixes, which they were happy to help with! And they even cleaned the car for us, which we really appreciate! They are truly a gem, and while I hope we won’t have any more car issues, I know where we will go if we do!

I have had several cars includng a 1987 Honda Accord (damaged in a hotel garage) , and most recently a 2006 Scion xA (fender bender with an Uber driver). I've taken both cars to H&I for body damage and repainting. Communication was great; work was on time and they interacted with the insurance company to my advantage, including some additional repair requests from the last incident that weren't included in the initial estimate. They were able to get insurance to come through. The Scion xA was my particular favorite and they treated it so well. I was able to get good resale value on it when I went to purchase a 2013 Scion xD (again, white). Honestly, I wouldn't take my car anyplace else.

Paul has the top notch skills and is willing to travel the extra mile to help me fix my car in most economical way. My car’s bumper was slightly bent, when no other auto shop was willing to take it in without replacing the whole bumper, Paul helped me save the piece and saved me hundreds of dollars! They were very honest and transparent with us about the cost and the repair results, but the repair is exceptional, my car looks brand new. They have to repaint the fender, and even though red is extremely difficult to match, they matched the color perfectly. (See before and after!) I really appreciate their service!!

If you need your car repaired, H&I is the place to go. I originally went to get my fender repaired, but turned out I needed a wheel alignment first. Paul actually told me to go to a shop that does the alignment first and then come back to him when I had the budget. Really appreciated that he didn't try to push anything on me and had the genuine interest in the health of my car and my financial situation above everything else. I went back to get the fender fixed and it looks like new! They were super considerate of my budget and were a pleasure to work with. This is the best shop around!

Really good experience with H & I. We needed to fix a dent and paint scratches on our Honda. I called around to three other places and H & I had the lowest estimate and fastest turnaround time. Paul (the owner) was very open with me and willing to work within my budget. I dropped off my car with them on Tuesday afternoon and picked it back up on Saturday morning, and the fix looked great. Very happy with the service quality and speed! One heads-up: It took me a few tries calling them in the beginning before I got through to book a initial estimate. But it was worth the extra tries.

I needed a new head light on my car. I called this morning and the owner told me that they could install one if I went to the shop. These guys are great. Even though I have passed by their shop hundreds of times, I did not know they even existed as they are kind of set back from the vision lines. They installed the light in a prompt and efficient manner. The cost was super reasonable. I think this business is excellent and I now know where to take all of my body car type of issues in the future. I feel fortunate that I found this business.

Great experience with this auto body shop! Geico didn’t want to pay for certain things, but H&I made sure it gotten take care of. Not only did they completely repair all damaged from the accident, but they also did touch painting in other areas of the car that needed it. If that’s not enough they washed the exterior and cleaned the interior. When I got my car back, I felt like I was getting it fresh off the lot for the first time. Thank you H&I Autobody. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I need body work done on my car!

Yuchu was extremely helpful in getting my car in and out as fast as possible after I was in an accident damaging my door. She let me come by for an inspection, let me take my car home while she ordered the needed parts, and told me when to drop it off. It took less than a week for my car to be fixed once dropped off. The shop was also good at handling claims through insurance. They even washed my car for me before I picked it up which was greatly appreciated! Definitely will come back here if I ever need to! :)

I highly recommend H&I for autobody repairs. They did a fantastic job fixing my Kia Sorento after a front-end collision. The team was friendly and kept me informed throughout the process. They paid great attention to detail and even fixed a few other minor issues with my car. I have come here for many different incidents and accidents and have always been more than satisfied with the service. Recently I moved to West Seattle and, with the bridge out then, tried another shop to help with some new scratches I put on my car, and I ended up paying a lot of money for very little. I decided to bring my car back to H&I and they completed the work, doing a better job for less. I highly recommend them for any auto body work!

Cannot recommend H&I Automotive enough. Professional service with clear communication. I went to them because my car had been involved with a hit and run while it was parked. They communicated with the insurance company and even let me pick up my car after business hours due to my work schedule. I never thought I would encounter an auto service that would be amazing, but this one definitely is. My car got towed there after an accident and they did a fantastic job at fixing it. Yuchu kept me updated over text about the progress and they took care of all communication with the insurance. Very friendly and nice people. Would definitely recommend and this will be my go to place now in case I need anything done.

H & I provides service that's memorable. I did sheet metal and painting on my scratched and slightly dented back door and back wing there, and when it's done, not only was the area fixed with quality, the internal space was also cleaned and the car was waxed. Yuchu is sincere and trustworthy, and it's not difficult to tell they're not doing one time business, they're treating you like customer of a life time.

My 2016 Kia Soul was broken into and the dash ripped apart in an attempt to hot wire the car (before realizing it was a manual). D&I fixed it quickly when other shops reported that it might take months to get the right parts. They returned my car cleaner than it was when I brought it in, and overall really went above and beyond to ensure that I had a good experience. I would highly recommend their work!

I can not overemphasize what an amazing business this is. I am parkingly challenged and I have dented my car several times. Every time I have come into H&I they have given me quotes that are 30-50% less than the others I have received. They do beautiful work. The honesty and integrity of the people that work there is exceptional. They are also very nice people with a friendly dog.

I had such a good experience with H&I! They repaired a number of damages on my Subaru, including replacing my bumper and front fender. They went above and beyond by cleaning the car inside and out and touching up some of the smaller cosmetic damage for free! They were communicative and thoughtful throughout the whole process. I will be returning for all my future auto body needs.

I went here to have a mirror replaced on my car. The staff are super friendly and worked to get me the best deal on parts. After they ordered the parts they followed up promptly on when I could bring my car in for repairs and completed the work in a timely manner. I went here after an accident as suggested by my mechanic (Lioe’s in Beacon Hill). H&I worked directly with my insurance (GEICO) and handled all that for me. The damage was mostly exterior (heavily dented door, wouldn’t even open, etc.). They did an excellent job repairing everything, matching colors, and being communicative. Definitely recommend them!

We have worked with this shop for years, fortunately have not needed car repair in a while, until just this month. They are wonderful to work with. Very reliable, pricing is conservative, and their work is very careful and thorough. They have helped us both for repairs covered by insurance, and those we elected to do on our own. I've taken 4 different cars here over the past 6 years or so. Everytime they've done a good job. They've also managed to get better parts for my car than what the insurance company was originally willing to pay for. For instance when the insurance company wanted to put an after market bumper cover on my car, H & I got an OEM bumper cover.

Took my car here after some pretty bad damage to the front bumper and headlight. There were able to give me an estimate sooner than any other shop in the area and worked with my insurance to get parts. They walked me through all the repairs they were planning and got the job done quickly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
