This unassuming strip-mall food joint is way beyond and expectation you could bring. The gyros are tasty, the pita soft and yummy. But the really starts are the blue sage iced tea, and what could possibly need the best french fries on the planet. The blue sage tea deserves its own review. The flavor is very herbal and with a tiny bite to it. It's slightly sweet, too. Difficult to describe but I get it every time I'm here. The fries are in my top two all time best. Fresh potatoes, skin on, deep golden brown, a little crunch, yielding to perfect steaming insides. Salted just right, these didn't come from a bag. Hold the ketchup, dip these in tzatziki and go to heaven. Sorry I can't post pics but I can't wait to start eating when my order comes. You just have to go see for yourself.

Unassuming and absolutely the real deal. Have been looking for the best gyro since moving to town and this is hands down my favorite. Tons of juicy gyro meat which is both soft and crispy on a warm and soft pita with great tzatziki. The fries are fresh cut planks, similar to steak fries, with crispy perfect texture and seasoning blend. I would eat this twice a day if I could - it’s so good. I’ve been a few times and the owner and staff are always great - quick and friendly service.

Very disappointed! I went here due to seeing the positive reviews, and more so, it's only 1 of 3 places IN San Diego that actually has an authentic pork gyros like they make in Greece. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The pork was dry, the gryos lacked sufficient tzatziki, and it was overpriced. Plus, I got charged double fries, while others got a discount for waiting so long (I also waited as well). I will not be going back. For an authentic pork gyros in San Diego, I'll stick to Zgara Grill or Nick the Greek.

Excellent customer service. Although it’s more like a fast food restaurant, they brought the food to me outside. Even asked if I wanted condiments and brought them out to me. Food was hot and delicious. Had the lamb and beef gyro combo and I loved the tender meat with some crispy ness on the outside. The large home style fries were delicious. Will come here again.

I have worked in this area for a long time and have NEVER tried this place. Until today. Oh. MY. Goodness. this was incredible! Some of the best gyro I've ever had. If you like spice add some spicy feta to your wrap. And not every tzatiki is equal, this one was well flavored and cooled the spicy feta just enough. The service was great, super nice guy running that place. I will be back and recommend you go. If you hate the parking lot, park on the street next to it. The spots are super small.

I’m from Chicago and consider myself a gyro connoisseur. This might’ve been the best gyro I’ve had in my life - big fan of the meat quality and the way it’s shaved. The fries are amazing and always come piping hot. I come here once a week for my lunch break and I look forward to it every time.

Love this place and the people who work here. I go once a week, sometimes twice. They have the best fries in San Diego and everything on the menu is a treat. I usually get the greek burger or gyro plate with lamb. You will not be disappointed

I’m in gyro heaven!! This place wasn’t too bad and I have to come back so I can try more. The staff were more than accommodating and friendly. They even have water cups, and the quality of meat is sensational. Oh and try that lamb burger, it doesn’t disappoint

The owner (I believe) was very helpful and friendly. I ordered the Philly Gyro, and it was sensational. The meat was juicy and the pita was warm and soft. The only complaint I have is the wait, but other than that, I would highly recommend!

First time here I ordered a gyro and french fries. The French fries were old and re heated oil soaked should never been served. The gyro disappointed didn't taste like lamb it's ground lamb with spices taste more like pork sauage. High fat content. When you reheat fries and serve them as fresh that's deceptive no business ethics.

The food at this place is top notch. The Falafel especially with the Fire sauce or Spicy Feta. Wait times can be 20-30minutes sometimes on normal days which sucks. And on a sunny day it can be real hot and loud because of MCAS next door. The Gyro Combo is the most value for money and the Gyro Plate the least value for money.

FOOD & DRINKS I tried the lamb/beef gyro and it was good. Not more, not less. SERVICE Very very friendly and nice! ATMOSPHERE A tiny place but still nicely decorated. RATING I live in Europe and have eaten plenty of gyro. Some of them are bad, some good and only a few amazing. I put this one in the good category. I would definitely come back and try out a few other dishes.

Absolute 5 stars! I stumbled on this shop while running some errands and I am glad I did. I ordered 2 Gyros. One beef/lamb and one chicken. The food is fantastic. Huge portion of meat on my order.. Perfectly spiced and moist. The service was impeccable and my order was ready in no time. Do not pass up an opportunity to eat here. More

I am Greek and my wife is Greek. My wife worked at the Food Network for a number of years. We heard about this place from a friend who was raving about it. We went in for lunch today... my god the Gyro was literally the best we both have ever had. I will be returning regularly. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. More

Great costumer service! Great portion! Great Gyro! Had so much meat, it was falling out. Fries are actual cut potatoes. Only disappointment was that he ran out of a Sage tea I didn't see on the menu. Excited to come back and try it!

They do not open at 10am. It shows 10am on their website and on Google. Tried to order take out a little after 10. They said we don't do take out orders until 11am. I said I'll stop by. Get there and they have a closed sign with a clock that says 11am. They need to sort that out. More

Gyro fries. Absolutely the best. The potatoes are fresh and hand-cut. The gyro meat is seasoned to perfection and the fresh tomatoes, onion have never disappointed me. The sauce is to die for. It is obvious that the owner takes personal pride in the products served.

In town for work and stopped here for lunch. By far the best gyros I’ve ever had!! I got the gyro combo with the Greek salad as my side. The meat was so tender, full of flavor and just all around amazing!! I will definitely come again for another meal. More
