Dear Franchisee, consider this an indicator of necessary change. Your establishment is operating at a level significantly below what would be mandated by any likes enterprise or franchise agreement with corporate. This can be particularised by: i) the remarkably inefficient / inadequate service provided by staff, which is either as a result of underhiring, understaffing shifts, or undertraining. Efficacious delivery of service is a hallmark of the GYG enterprise and must be upheld; and ii) deficient preparation of head menu items, to the extent that portion size is significantly below GYG standard, presentation is atrocious against any standard, and a reasonable person in the position of a consumer would feel affronted by the end product delivery. This reviewer hopes this is merely as a result of poor training and not malicious compliance to minimise cost by % reduction of meal portioning. While I appreciate the difficult task of operating a franchise, the Milton locale is a crucial piece of local enterprise and certainly host to significant profit incentives for a functioning business. This is presently a poor example and diminishes the reputation of GYG broadly. I will return each week through 2023 to re-review this franchise and provide updates. Should the franchise improve, a 5 star rating will be attainable. Should this lowkey 'piss poor' standard remain, I'll provide necessary updates to this post and amend the rating to reflect 1 star (as it would stand without the opportunity to rectify deficient practice). Don't take this as a a snarky comment or unwanted criticism; embrace the valid and tailored feedback to improve your establishment, or find yourself in breach of your franchise agreement and allow a suitable franchisee the opportunity to adequately operate this location. Amendment 1 dated 4 July 2023: your staff presently cannot correctly wrap a burrito. Burrito are a hallmark item and should be prepared as such. Amendment 2 dated 4 October 2023: the quality has improved drastically; ample toppings provided and dish was delivered warm. This has happened on both of the past two occasions. One more check and we'll hit 5 stars. To the owner, fantastic work on upping your game.

I ordered online and went in to picked it up. I asked a lady (manager or shift leader) about my order and she said very bored “will be ready in 2 minutes” even after I was notified my order was ready to pick up through the app. The lady just keep looking her phone and finally another staff checked the warmer and oh surprise! my order was there the whole time. Then find out my enchilada didn't have any cutlery, no napkins at all actually. So how can I eat an enchilada with no cutlery? Really disappointed. GyG customer service, Please do not waste your time with your copy and paste answer in this comment, I will not send more info to any email. Just check what is going on with your staff inside the restaurant.

I just purchased my first burrito at this location for the chain and I have to say I was bitterly disappointed. The burrito cost me $15.20 and it was predominately rice. There was about a inch of beef down the very bottom of the burrito, which consisted of 2 very large chunks of unpleasant fat, and less than a tablespoon of tomato within the whole thing. For $15 I would expect a lot more beef and tomato and sour cream that is not watery. Will not be revisiting anytime soon.

Perhaps I’m biased because I’m a fan of the GYG brand. But the food was impeccable the meat was juicy and well seasoned, the guac fresh and a beautiful green and the chips fresh a perfect combination with the chimi Mayo. I come here frequently before starting my shift and I’ll definitely be coming here when working on my uni assignments and need a little pick me up great atmosphere and people.

That was the worst Gomez burrito I've ever had. I ordered a burrito with extra chicken, but there was hardly any chicken in it. Half of the burrito was outside of the wrap, making it a complete mess to eat. Even though I asked for extra meat and veggies, the burrito itself was tiny. I'm not sure if they've reduced the size of all Gomez burritos or just this one.

I was extremely hungry when I came to gyg to be rescued. I had not eaten for 23hrs at this point and I order an enchilada and was blessed by the staff that day. It was a beautiful meal and I felt so full and happy. The staff was also so nice and welcoming I enjoyed my meal greatly. Thank you.

Rubbish. Find a better place to enjoy Mexican food. For a while the melas from GYG were Ok but now que quality has dropped significantly. Just ordered a couple of mini burritos with chicken as we just got 90% white rice with a couple of chicken pieces. Muy mala la calidad, a ver si mejoran un poquito o los van a cerrar.

Don't come here in-between lunch and dinner. Cheese fries is like they scraped the bottom of an empty container of fries and salsa, image attached. Order a burrito with brown rice. Just tell me you don't have brown rice. Don't charge me extra and think I won't notice there's no brown rice. Hopeless.

The burrito wasn't closes properly, I'm talking 1/4 wide open, which allowed the juice from the shredded beef to soak the wrap and it pretty much just all fell apart. No effort was put into making it and you can tell.
